"So, are we going to attempt this again?" Faye asked, trying not to sound too hopeful, "We're not going to only last another day, right?" She joked, biting on her lower lip with a smile, "Because I'd probably die early from that, not the smoking."

Faye tilted her head, turning her body to face him instead of the Quidditch Pitch, "I'll do my best, but I can't guarantee anything until I hear it..."

"If things don't work out...or they get bad, would you go to Grindelwald again?" he mumbles, unable to look her in the eye.

"Oh," Faye turned away from him for a moment. She hadn't thought about that, "I don't think so. I highly doubt it," She felt guilty because she hadn't yet spoken to Grindelwald about any of this, "He's a great person and, despite what you say, I felt like he cared. We're not - we're just not right for one another. Unfortunately, that's what I believe."

"Right," he answers, unsure of how to reply. "Just...just let me know if you start having doubts. Let me know if you even think about doing anything, like that, with him. I'd rather know in advance, have us work out the problem or figure out what to do, then to find out after the fact," he says glancing at her again.

"Do you honestly think that I would do that again? I can't predict the future. I can't possibly know what's going to happen," Faye felt a lump rise in her throat, "I'm saying that I wouldn't go back to him. I've told you that I don't believe he and I are right for one another. I know, you don't trust me after what happened, but please. Please, just believe me on this," She sighed, "I don't know how to prove this to you..."

Scorpius looks at her for moment, then moves to kiss her softly. He pulls away after a second then whispers, "I trust you, but it'll only grow in time," while looking her in the eyes.

Faye leaned back in surprise. That wasn't the reaction she had been expecting. It was better, actually. She closed her eyes and kissed him back. When he pulled away, her eyes opened instantly and she flushed, "I understand. I'm sorry we didn't get to go to the ball together..."

"It's okay," he says giving her a small smile. "Like I've said, if I wasn't such an arse, things wouldn't have gotten so bad. Can we not mention the past couple of days though? Let's...let's try and move forward."

"Yeah, sure, sorry..." Faye laughed despite herself, unsure of what they would talk about. She swung her legs lightly against the stands, "So, um, I didn't know you liked Quidditch."

"Yeah," he says smiling and looking out at the pitch. "My father used to play with me when I was younger before coming to school. I haven't played recently though, Blaise tends to be rather...busy, and I don't know many other people who'd want to play."

"Ah, I see..." Faye nodded, following his eyes to the pitch. His friends didn't seem to act very friendly. She scooted closer to him and smiled, "I've never played before, but, fortunately for you, I have gained a sudden interest in the sport and I am looking for a teacher," She playfully pushed him and gasped, "You could teach me!"

[Well, I'm going to post this anyway. Faye will not be happy about the Reg/Scorp friendship. She'll hide it though.]

"Looking for a teacher, hmm?" he asks her with a playful grin. "Are you sure you'll be able to handle a broomstick?"

"Well, I don't own a broomstick," Faye shrugged and stared back out at the pitch, "It depends on whose broomstick I'll have to handle."

"Well come on," Scorpius says grinning and standing up. "Let's see if you can handle mine," he says while holding his hand out.

"Hm, I think I can handle yours just fine," She took his hand, smirking, and stood up, "So, does this mean you'll want me to call you Professor Malfoy or something? Because I refuse to do any roleplaying like that."

"Any roleplaying like that? I'll keep that in mind," he says smirking. "Now, would you object terribly if we flew from here? Or do you want to start on the ground?"

"You'll find that I won't object to much," Faye shrugged, "Just that roleplaying thing and people who go by the name of Scorpius. I mean, he's my Quidditch teacher and all, but he'll need to win me over somehow."
