Remus is magically outside and spots Reg. He hadn't seen him since the party and he remembered Sirius saying last night that he'd beaten Reg up. Remus walked over and waved. "Hey Regulus."

Regulus looked up at Remus and smiled a little, glad to see someone who was almost a friend. He didn't seem to have any friends left. "Hey, Remus!"

Remus sat down next to him, because he figured Reg wouldn't mind. "What's up? You look a bit lost in thought. Something troubling you?"

Regulus nodded, and stared down at his feet. "Yeah. A lot. I haven't talked to you in a while. My life's been kinda... hectic, I guess, these past few weeks," he said with a small smile, looking up at Remus. "How're you doing? Happily married?"

Remus smiled. "I'm doing well. And Hermione and I, we're doing great." Very great considering all the fun with food they have all the time...anyway. Oh and there was the tiny matter that Remus had almost killed Dolohov...but he didn't think Reg would want to hear about that either. "How are you and Viktor doing? And I heard Sirius gave you a bit of a roughing up the other day. Are you okay now?"

Reg's face fell at Viktor's name, and even more so at Sirius'. "We're- we're okay? I think..." he said, looking confused and sad. "I'm okay now. Still need blood replenishing potions though. And my head still hurts."

Remus could have guessed that Reg's expression would change upon hearing Sirius' name but, he was confused as to why Reg would be upset over hearing Viktor's name. "Well, I hope you get better soon. I don't mean to pry, and you don't have to talk about it if you don't want, but you said you 'think' everything's okay between you and Viktor? Is something wrong?"

Regulus sighed, and decided it would be nice to talk to someone about Viktor. Other than Gellert, Remus was the only one who knew about them, and Gellert hated Viktor so much it was pointless talking to him. "Yeah. He... we... I don't think he believes I love him anymore," he said sadly, frowning at the ground.

Remus tilted his head slightly, confused. "Why? I would have thought, I mean, you both seemed very happy together when I saw you at the party. Did something happen?"

"No? He, he thinks I'm lying to him. I think he thinks there's something between me and my roommate, Gellert Grindelwald," he said with a frown. "There isn't, though! We're just friends. But he still kn- er, thinks- I'm hiding something from him," he explained. "And uh, so, I, uh... tried to prove I loved him. That was a mistake," he added quietly, blushing and staring at the ground.

Remus noticed Reg's caught slip up and wonders what he is hiding. He saw Reg's face turn red and knew what he meant. "Hmm...why would it be a mistake if you loved each other? Unless it was just because you were nervous and things didn't go well?" It was rather awkward to talk about really, he should probably just shut his mouth right now before he said something really stupid and Reg ran off on him telling him he was crazy or something. "And if he still 'thinks' you're hiding something from him, why don't you talk to him about it? Honesty is really important in a relationship. Things can go downhill rather quickly if you can't speak truthfully with your partner. I'm not trying to sound negative, it's just what I've learned from past experiences."

[nurghhhhh I have to go now. Hopefully I'll be able to be back on around 3:30/4ish. I'll try to anyway. *flails*]

Reg sighed and looked up at Remus, eternally grateful he had him to talk to. "It's a mistake because I still don't think he believes me. But I do! I do love him," he said firmly, crossing his arms. "But I only did it so he'd understand that and I don't think it was enough. I- I can't just talk to him about it! I can't. He'd never understand, he just wouldn't, I know that for a fact," he said, remembering Viktor's anger at the cigarettes, and they weren't even real drugs. "I want to be honest with him. But I just can't. I can't really be honest about everything with anyone," he said. Not since Djinn left.

Remus was feeling rather sympathetic towards Reg, he knew what it felt like to think there was no one you could be completely honest with. Luckily, he had Hermione now who he could be honest with, even if it was hard sometimes though he's never going to mention that he kissed Sirius. Nope, no he will not. Because her crazy hormones will kick into overdrive and he'll find himself hanging upside down off the Astronomy Tower, or dead. And then neither Remione nor Wolfstar will happen because you can't have either one without Remus. He brushed a hand through his hair, trying to think of a good reply. He couldn't help but think that, unless Reg figured this all out, and learned to open up and be honest, his and Viktor's relationship wasn't going to go very well. If they truly loved each other than they should be able to work this out right? Viktor probably wasn't going to stand for being lied to for so long. He'd get annoyed with it eventually. And Remus didn't want Reg to get hurt because of this. He spoke carefully, hoping he wouldn't anger Reg. "If...if he doesn't understand, and you know that he won't, then is there any possible way you can change whatever it is he won't understand? It's hard to give you good advice since I don't know all the details, but, honestly, a truly good relationship will only work out if both sides can be honest with each other. It may be uncomfortable and difficult for you to talk to him about it but, if it's eating away at you and you think he's going to keep doubting you, maybe you can try to slowly work towards being comfortable enough to talk to him. He may get angry with you but, if he loves you enough then he should come around at some point and things'll get better. You may have to change things but, hey, sacrifices have to be made sometimes for a relationship to work." Remus hoped half of what he was saying was making any sense at the moment. "And if things don't work out feel free to find me and beat me up or something for giving you bad advice but, I've seen you two together now and I really think, if things go wrong, you'll both be able to fix it eventually."
