Regulus smiled at Remus, grateful for his honest advice. "I... I really don't know if it's something I can stop, or want to stop, honestly. I guess I need to figure out what matters more to me. Which should be Viktor..." he said sadly, his voice trailing off. "But I know that for a fact that Viktor would never understand. It wouldn't just be difficult, it would be pointless. I might as well just break it off with him, if it ever came down to that. He'd never be able to love me, if he saw that side of me," he said bitterly, frowning at the ground. "I hope you're right. That we'll be able to fix things. Because I do love him, even if he won't believe me."

Remus gave him a small smile and patted his shoulder. "I believe you. If you didn't, you wouldn't be agonizing over this so much. I just hope..." He bit his lip. "I just hope that you don't throw away someone as good as Viktor for something that is bad for you. Don't break it off unless you're entirely sure that's the only way to solve things. Even then...I'm still going to hope that you'll both be able to fix things."

Regulus looked at Remus. "I would never break it off with him. I could never do it. I love him, with all my heart. But... some things might be a little bad, but they're also damn good. And who's to decide what's good for me, him, or myself?"

Remus shrugged. "Hmm...I guess you're right about that. It's up to you to decide what's best for you. I wish you good luck though, that things go well and you two can stick together." He stood up and brushed his jeans off. "Personally, I think you two look great together. Hmm, I should be heading back. If you ever want to talk again...I'll be around. Come talk to me if you'd like. I may not be the best advice giver but, considering I've experience in this sort of situation, I can probably give you better advice than most. Well...at least I hope so anyway. Sometimes I tend to say stupid things and people don't like my advice. Or other times they just think I'm being ridiculous. I don't know, I try...oh dear I'm rambling again." He laughed and ran a hand through his hair.
