Fleur nodded, wiping away her tears. Her head ached now, trying to think of what to say. She sighed, "I feel rotten for what I 'ave done. I 'ave lost so many - " She choked, "So many people."

"Oh Fleur," Dom says wrapping her in a hug. "I'm sure you haven't lost that many people through this whole, ordeal. I'll always be here for you. Everybody makes mistakes, and it's going to take time to work through it, but I'm sure everything will work out in the end."


[Aww, I know. I really wasn't expecting Cedric to randomly pop on today.]

"No, Sirius 'ates me and 'e won't even tell me why 'e cares so much. When 'e kissed you," She paused and remembered what Sirius had said and added, "I know zat's not ze same as sleeping with someone, but 'ear me out," She sighed and continued, "'E told me zat I should be 'appy for you and be supportive if I 'ad truly moved on. Uzzerwise I was being selfish. Why isn't 'e taking 'is own advice? Why does 'e care so much?" Fleur began to sob again, "And zen - Cedric - 'e put zis 'alo on me and I feel like I am on zis stupid, stupid pedestal all ze time. I'm not ze person everyone theenks I am. I 'ate - 'ate losing zese people. I will never 'ave eizzer of zose people and it kills me because I cared about zem. A lot."

Dom sat for a moment taking in what Fleur had said. "I think, I think you already know why Sirius cares so much," Dom suggested quietly. "I think it kills him to see you with another guy because he still likes you a lot. The whole, situation with me and any other girl, is his way of trying to get you to notice him. His way of gaging if you still care for him the same as he cares for you. Cedric," she says addressing the other boy in question, "should have realized that you are not perfect. You are by no means selfish. I mean, you and Cedric weren't even really together, were you?"

"I 'ate letting zese people down. I 'ate not being what zey want me to be or not living up to zere expectations," Fleur sighed and bit her lip, managing to hold back more tears. She thought about what Dom had just said about Sirius. Could that even be possible? If so, why hadn't he sad anything? It was becoming more and more frustrating to try and figure out what he wanted, "No - No Cedric and I weren't togezzer. I feel bad because I theenk 'e wanted us to be official and I didn't theenk about zat. I 'urt 'im and I wish I didn't manage to 'urt every single one of zem. It's only a matter of time before I 'urt James. I know it."

"Well, at this point, it's up to Cedric if he chooses to move past this or not. He should have been a bit more decisive if he wanted to make it official. I mean, who could resist a girl like you," she says giving Fleur a small smile. "It's wrong of him though to have set such high expectations for the kind of person he expects you to be. Everybody falls off course at one point, and hopefully he'll realize that he needs to look past your mistake. Have you talked to James since the, err incident?"

"Not really. 'E was attacked by Severus and zen in ze 'Ospital Wing we were confronted by Sirius and zen Lily, which wasn't fun in ze slightest," She sighed, "And zen 'e was off doing sometheeng because 'e wasn't in 'is 'ospital bed. I 'ave no idea what to do 'ere." She fiddled with her necklace again, unsure of what else to say. She just wanted to go back to when she had only one boy after her and all she cared about was that one boy.

"When you do find him, you do need to talk it out. Avoiding the situation is only going to make it worse in the end. Hopefully he'll take it all lightly and you'll be able to put it in the past. As for Sirius, I would avoid him for a while. His temper is something that shouldn't be messed with. Although you could easily match him, what with being part-Veela, I'd hate for you to somehow get either physically or even more emotionally hurt. Cedric just needs time. Hopefully he'll be able to move past all of this too."

"I know, I know. I'll talk about all of zis with 'im. Maybe I shouldn't be in a relationship for awhile. Keep myself single and with my options open because all I am doing in zis moment is 'urting people. I never 'ad ze intention to 'urt any of zem..." She looked at Dom, "I'll stay away from 'im as best as I can, but sometimes 'e goes down to ze lake and I can't avoid 'im zere...'E was glaring at me so much today..."

"I know," Dom replies, thinking about the looks he kept shooting at Fleur when Dom had been attempting to talk to him. "He's just going to have to eventually get over it. It really sucks what happened, but that doesn't mean you should have to isolate yourself from the lake or your friends. Just, try and avoiding going down there alone. He tends to do most of his moping there."

"Alright, I will," Fleur smiled at Dom, grateful, "Zank you for dealing with zis - my problems and me," She laughed and looked down at her hands, "I know it probably is ze last theeng you wanted to do today. I never expected zat Cedric would be down zere or zat Sirius would glare at me like zat...."

"Oh please, anything for a friend. It was a rather slow day anyway," she said jokingly with a smile. " But really, if you ever just need someone to talk to, I'm here."

"Oh, I'll take up any opportunity zat is given," Fleur joked and suddenly felt a whole lot better after talking about this with Dom, "I theenk theengs will gradually get better from 'ere on out. At least, I 'ope so."

"Yes, from the way it seems, things have already reached rock bottom and can only go up from here," she replied. "Just give it all time."

[I'm going to go take a shower and return! I wish Tam had her computer so I could see that drama unfold.]

Fleur nodded, "I theenk I must find my way back up to ze top. I can't 'andle being zis upset, I don't know 'ow Sev does it..." She shook her head, dramatically.

Dom looks at Fleur a bit confused, for she really doesn't understand what she means by the Sev comment. "Well, don't worry, it will get better. Just try and resume as much normality as possible."
