"Oui," Fleur muttered, continuing to search through her bag for her sketching pencil. Once she found it, she flipped open to a blank page in her sketchbook and thought about what to draw, "I was looking for zese," she replied, not looking up from the page, "When I find myself wanting to do sometheeng, I sketch. It's a 'obby."

"Do you want me to leave? I find that people like to, you know, get their artistic juices flowing alone--so I'll understand." He grins, and gestures lamely around the area, "it'll make a nice picture, something you're drawing in particular?"

"I do not draw sceneries well," Fleur smiles and glances up at him, "If you left, zen my drawing would be completely ruined since I would lose ze very subject zat I am drawing. People are easier and more fun to draw. Ze facial expressions are ze 'ardest because you want to make sure zat you 'ave ze emotion - " She paused, erasing one of her mistakes and redoing it, "As I was saying, you 'ave to get ze emotion perfectly. I like zat challenge."

"Oh," he said, chuckling a little. He was suddenly self-conscious of his casual stance against the tree, "Do I need to pose?" he put his hand behind his head like a model and added a pouty expression, then, after a moment, went back to normal. "I'm gonna assume--and hope--not." He runs a hand absentmindedly through his hair.

"No - don't pose," Fleur shook her head and laughed when he attempted to make a model stance, "Ze sketch will come out better if you act like I am not 'ere. Just act naturally."

"But you are here," he said, eyes twinkling, "so how could I act naturally?"

"You'll find zat eet isn't zat difficult," she smirked and placed her sketchbook on her lap, "If at any point you feel ze least bit attracted - " she looked up from her sketchbook and her sketching pencil froze on the page, "- know zat eet won't go any furzer zen zat attraction. I am not available."

Scorpius grins as him and Faye head down to the lake with their hands clasped tightly. He pulls her along gently, as he moves quickly to find an area that is quiet and empty from the rest of the people down there. "Is this alright?" he asks coming to a stop at a secluded area. "I don't think we'll be bothered," he says grinning then facing her. He keeps his hand gripped in hers while his other hand slides a strand of her hair behind her ear.

Faye followed, her hand giving his a small squeeze. She was glad that they were by themselves. The King Burger experience had been awkward and meeting Scorpius' parents had been worse. She shivered thinking about Bellatrix and Mr. Malfoy. The way he had yelled at her...it still frightened her. She would never belong in that household. She smiled, "Honestly, Scorp? I'm starting to believe anywhere with you is alright," she laughed with this response and her eyes shifted to the side, glancing out at the lake, "It's nice and quiet here. That's better than the other places, if I do say so myself!" She shivered in the cold, but felt comfortable with Scorpius, "Want to go for a late night swim?" she asked, feeling a bit mischievous.

[Scorpius Malfoy]

"A late night swim?" he grins while looking at her. "I just hope the water is warm. Otherwise we'll have to find ways to warm each other up so that we don't catch a cold," he says with a slight smirk. "Which I don't have a problem with one bit." He takes off his shirt and tosses it to the ground. "Slight problem, I don't have my wand on me to transfigure a suit, because I left in the common room. Do you have yours?"

Faye nodded and quirked a brow at the mention of keeping each other warm. She'd seen this muggle movie known as Without a Paddle and they had, well, ways of keeping each other warm that Faye did not mind doing with Scorp. A smirk crept along her face and she shook her head, "I left it in my dormitory. I didn't think it would be any use down here," she replied, looking around the secluded area of the lake. There was nobody in sight. She took a deep breath and shrugged, "But, honestly, girls tend to wear bathing suits that look like lingerie anyway. What does it matter?"

"Well, if that's the case then I don't see why not," he smirks. "I definitely have no objections to seeing you in your knickers." He takes his shoes and socks off, then begins to take his pants off. "I've never swam in just boxers before," he says, then loosely folds his pants and places them on top of his shoes. The cool night air begins to hit is body, and he resists shivering. "Alright," he grins while looking over at her. "Now that you've seen me strip, I think it's your turn."

Faye resisted rolling her eyes because Scorpius had said the typical guy thing. Boys stripping wasn't the entertainment most girls thought about when they wanted a night out, but guys thought girls stripping was sexy and fun. Hence, why she wanted to roll her eyes at Scorp's comment. Since her hair was partially up, she undid it and let it fall down her shoulders and some wisps flew into her face. She used one hand to finger comb her hair before she began to strip from her clothing. First, she slipped the skirt slowly down her legs, revealing one part of the pair of her black lace undergarments. She gingerly set the skirt aside, before gracefully lifting her shirt up and over her head, throwing it to the side as well. She had done this type of swimming plenty of times with her friends at home, but never with someone like Scorpius. She had never thought about doing this with a male until, well, now. The wind pierced her skin and she kept her teeth from chattering. Her arms stayed down by her sides, not wanting to cross them for warmth because Scorpius' view of her entirety would be obscured, "Now, I think it's time to get in the water," she whispered.

His eyes remain on her body as she strips out of her clothes, a smile slipping onto his face. It then dawns on him that the last time they had really seen each other intimately was that disastrous night with Cormac. Merlin, what a douche. He shakes his head, because the last thing he wants to be thinking of right now is Cormac, especially as his girlfriend stands in front of him in just her knickers. "Alright, come on," he smiles while reaching out to hold her hand. He leads them towards the lake, where he sticks his foot in the water. "Well," he says, "it's definitely warmer than the air. Come on we'll jump in together. You jump, I jump, Faye."

Faye felt overexposed and didn't present any arguments to getting in the water as soon as possible. She slides her hand into his and watches their fingers lace together, a warm feeling tingling throughout her body. Her gaze lifted to his face and she smiled at him, wondering what she had done to deserve someone who would love her this way. Who treated her well. She squeezed his hand and closed her eyes, feeling the wind at her back, she took a deep breath, "On the count of three?" She asked, flashing him her signature smile.

"Yeah," he grins. "One, two...," he says while being sure to grip her hand tightly. "Three!" He jumps off the into the water, relieved when she follows him and doesn't chicken out last second. His thoughts break off as he hits the cold water, and he fights with one hand to make it to the surface. He comes to the surface, sputtering water slightly, but still manages to have her hand in his.

Faye takes a deep breath as he counts, but her eyes don't move from looking at him. She bites her lip and closes her eyes when he reaches three and she jumps into the water. On impact, the water froze her limbs. Goosebumps began to spread along her arms and the water made her almost feel numb. When she resurfaced, she gasped, not realizing she had been underwater for so long. She hadn't realized that she had been squeezing Scorpius' hand so tightly either. Why had she been so afraid? Did she feel like she was losing him? She shuddered and moved over to him. She chuckled at his sputtering and ruffled his wet hair, "This look suits you, you know."

"Does it," he laughs while shaking his head and sending the water flying. He drops his feet, and sighs in relief as they hit the bottom of the lake. Pulling her closer to him, he lets his arms wrap around her while his hands land on her lower back. "It's not too terrible in here," he says, then feels himself shiver slightly. He places a soft kiss on her forehead then ducks down so that he is further down in the water. "It's going to be nearly impossible getting out though," he says. "And we don't even have our wands to cast any heating charms or even drying charms on our clothes."

Okay, they would probably die of hypothermia. That didn't sound too bad, right? Faye sighed and placed her hands on his chest, not wanting to think about it, "We can confront that issue when we meet it," she muttered and heard her teeth chatter. It was clear to her now why girls did NOT wear lingerie when they swam. The fabric was too thin and did nothing to keep you warm. She pressed herself against him and her chest heaved, her body struggling to adapt to the cold, "I'm here with you. I'm fine," she whispered, fighting off the cold, "Just - don't let go."

"Faye, I don't want you to get sick, alright? Tell me the instant you start getting uncomfortable," he says while holding her body close to his. He feels her start to shudder and moves one hand away from her back to rub her arm. He begins to have regrets about going for a night swim. The last thing he wanted was for either of them to get sick. "I'll never let go Faye, I promise." He drops his lips to hers and, realizing this was his first time kissing her today, feels himself smile against her lips.

"Sh, I'm fine," Faye muttered and felt instantly better with his arms wrapped around her. Maybe they should have stayed on land after all because this seemed to prevent them from moving much anyway. Faye's eyes looked back at up at him and smiled, wanting to tell him something. She didn't know what and she pondered for a moment. Her thoughts were interrupted by the feel of his lips on hers and she closed her eyes, pressing her lips back on his. She made a small sound, content, and draped her arms around his neck. She eased up onto her tiptoes, and rested her chest on his, deepening the kiss. She had waited far too long to kiss him again and found herself craving more of him far too quickly. Her body instantly warmed with the sensation from the kiss and the numbness drifted away.

His tongue instantly parts through her lips to meet her tongue as she deepens the kiss, and he moves one of his hands to the hold the back of her head. After a moment, he lets his hand trail back down, lightly tracing her spine as he does so. Both of his hands then move lower until they rest just below her backside, and he gently lifts her up so that she wraps her legs around him. After placing his hands on her back again, he pulls his lips away from hers while slightly out of breath. "I love you," he whispers while resting his forehead on hers.

She releases a yelp of surprise when he lifts her, but complies and wraps her legs around him. Every inch of her body was feeling happy. There was an honest smile across her face as she kissed him. No one had ever made her feel this happy before and she never wanted to lose it. For once, she wished time would stop and they could live in this moment forever. Her eyes remained closed when he pulled her away and there was a small pout from disappointment on her face. Every time he said those three words, everything disappeared, "I love you too." Faye opened her eyes and stared into his, wishing they never had to leave. Loving every minute of his company.

He lightly rubs his thumb on her back, moving it in small circles while looking her in the eyes. "You're beautiful," he murmurs, then drops his lips to hers again. He pulls away after a minute and says, "As much as I'd love to just stay here with you in my arms, we really should get back to the castle. We'll both freeze and it is getting rather late." He walks them over to the edge of the lake, then puts her down so that they can both get out. He feels his body instantly freeze up as the cold night air hits him, and he finds himself shivering furiously. "N-not the b-best idea," he manages to say while moving back towards their abandoned clothes.
