Faye didn't want to leave, but her teeth were chattering beyond her control. The exhaustion had started to take over and she didn't have enough energy to stop the chattering. His compliment made her smile, but staying in the water was definitely not an option, "I agree," she whispered. She stood up after being set down on the grass and almost rushed over to her clothes because the wind chill caused the goosebumps to reappear. She gasped at the cold and found herself slowly moving towards her clothes, her limbs frozen. She quickly put her clothes back on, but they didn't do much since they couldn't dry them. Instead, they gradually dampened and stuck to her skin, "R-ready?" she asked, shakily.

He quickly pulls on his clothes, grimacing as they do nothing to make him feel warmer. "Yeah," he says after pulling his shirt over his head. "N-Next time, let's be sure th-that one of us at l-least has our w-wands if we d-decide to go for a m-midnight s-swim." He walks over to her, giving her a quick hug, then pulling away as his clothes stick to him even more. Taking her hand into his, he leads her back up to the castle.

Teddy was taking another one of his random walks. He found himself in a place by the lake he had never been before. Deciding he liked it, he sat down and put his head in his hands, trying hard not to think about cigarettes. And how much he wanted one right now...

Victoire walked by the lake to explore the grounds. She saw Teddy with his head in his hands and walked over. "Hey, you ok?"

She smiled as he kissed her cheek. "I'm pretty good. I finally met some Ravenclaws today."

"Yeah? Anyone I might know?" He asked, thinking that no, they probably weren't. He only knew like one Ravenclaw.

"Maybe. She said her name was Padma. Ever heard of her?" she asked tilting her head to the side like an adorable puppy.

"I don't think I've offically met her." He said, remembering back to the day he was at the lake and she was running around like a madman. "What brings you down here?"

He shrugged. "Just another one of my deep and meaningful walks." He hesitates for a minute before blurting out, "So, have you heard about the prom?"

Her face lights up when he mentions prom. She had been wondering if he was going to ask her. "Yeah, it's coming up soon isn't it?"

"Okay, awesome." He smiled and then realizes he'd been out walking for over an hour. "I have to go now, but I'll see you soon!" He kissed her again, longer this time, before he got up and left for his dorm.

She smiles into the kiss, feeling happy as a clam. "Alright. See you, Teddy." She sits there for a moment enjoying the view and the thought of going to prom with Teddy, before getting up and walking back to the castle.

Regulus stumbles out to the lake, incredibly distraught. He ignores anyone else out there and sits in the shade of a tree, burying his face in his hands and wishing for nothing more but to be in Viktor's arms.

Viktor walks out towards the lake, not remembering the last time he smiled. He sees Reg and remembers how seeing him use to cheer him up. Now it just made him feel sick. He hesitated for a moment, unsure of if he wanted to talk to Regulus about the other night or walk away from him. He walked over and stood next to Reg, assuming he wasn't going to be welcomed to sit down. "Regulus," he greets, unable to say anything else.

"Viktor?" he says quietly, spinning around and looking at him in disbelief. He decides he doesn't give a damn who may or may not see and throws himself into Viktor's arms, clinging to him desperately and hoping with all his heart that he won't be pushed away.

Viktor feels his heart swell as Regulus hugs him back considering he was expecting the worst. He wraps his arms around Regulus and pulls him close, burying his face in Reg's hair and whispering, "I'm sorry."

Regulus lets out a small sound of relief as he's embraced by Viktor and drinks in his scent, that delectable scent. "No. No. I'm the one who's sorry, so horribly sorry, Merlin, Viktor, I am sorry, but I love you, I do, I do," he murmured, clutching at him in desperation.

Viktor hugs Regulus tighter, wanting to believe him. He gently kissed Regulus on top of the head. "I love you too." He runs his hand up and down Regulus back, wanting to comfort him and let him know that he wasn't going anywhere.

Regulus blinks back tears of relief and holds him tightly. "Don't- don't tell me to go, don't leave me here either, don't- don't end this, please," he begged, tugging at the fabric of Viktor's shirt.
