Re: Secluded Area of the Lake
Viktor blinked. "Er- No. Quidditch is the sport of champions. Shopping is just valking around and buying random stuff. It's not a sport."

Re: Secluded Area of the Lake
Fabian gasped. "You... You..." he shook his head, as if he could not BELIEVE Viktor had said what he thought he said. Which, of course, he couldn't. "Don't tell me you just... Oh Merlin, I think I feel lightheaded." his expression turned cold suddenly, and very serious. "Listen up, Viktor Krum, while Quidditch may work up a sweat, you can't sweat when you shop, unless you want to ruin the shirt you just bought. Have you ever been in a store on Black Friday? No? Let's run through it, shall we? You save up all your money, all year, for this one day--Black Friday, in which there are more sales than ever and more deals than you know what to do with. So, naturally, when the day comes, you line up at the store doors before they open, at four thirty in the morning, and wait along with other eager patrons. Suddenly, after four and a half hours of waiting, the doors swing open and you're immediately trampled by a horde of housewives and stay-at-home mothers. So, you pick yourself up off the ground and run immediately to the shoes because that's the section everyone will be crowding around. You see a pair of shoes that are simply to die for, and if you don't get them then you will surely combust and turn into a pile of nothingness. But, just as you reach out to grab them, some whore snatches them out of your hands and claims that she saw them first. So, what do you do? Do you give up and go home? No! You're going to explode without those shoes, remember?! So, you tackle the bitch to the ground, and she's pulling your hair and kneeing you in places you do NOT want to be kneed, but those are the most amazing shoes you've ever fucking seen, so you don't let go of her hair or the shoe you're holding if it's the last thing you do. Finally, someone pulls you off of her with a disapproving look, and you don't take your eyes off the shoes, lest she walk away with them. You've only won when she wrinkles her nose in disdain and hands the shoes out to you with a sneer, saying that if you wanted them THAT badly, then you should take them. So, you do take them, and then you run to the clearance rack, where all the deals REALLY are. This is where shirts are ripped and skirts are ruined. You manage to crawl between unshaven legs and pointy heels until FINALLY you're at the front, and you manage to grab a few shirts that aren't ripped, stained, or maimed. But, suddenly, someone manages to snatch a shirt of yours--right out from your hands, too! So you grab on to her hair and growl that she better give it back, unless she wants to die a horrible death, and she gives it back to you before she starts crying, and with that you run to the check out line, where you wait an hour before getting to the cashier and giving them their money. Then, you go to ANOTHER store and repeat the process all over again. So, yes, Viktor. Shopping. Is. The. Sport. Of. CHAMPIONS."

[...I don't even know how to respond. Nothing I say can measure up to that.]
Viktor blinked in shock. Woah. Was that supposed to make him actually want to go shopping? Because it did the exact opposite. He was never stepping foot in another store again. "I only need von pair of shoes...Vy vould I go through all of that just to buy another set of shoes that I don't need or vant? They're just shoes..."

Re: Secluded Area of the Lake
Fabian looked muderous. "Are you... ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! Do you HAVE a death wish?!" he nearly yelled. "Shoes are the most amazing invention of mankind! Of. Mankind. Viktor, they aren't just something to protect your feet-they can make or break an outfit! There's flats, heels, pumps, sneakers, clogs, sandals, flip flops, boots, and oh so much more! Shoes are a fashion statement... They are... They are to fashion as broomsticks are to Quidditch! They are essential aspects of life! And not just in that your feet would be all hurt and cut up without them. They can add height, or make your legs look sexy. And, if you're wearing a slinky black dress you will not be wearing construction boots! No matter how nice you look, shoes can ruin it. Shoes are addicting, Viktor. And obviously you don't understand their significance! If there was a shoe religion, I would join. There are so many colors and shapes and styles and sizes and you can't POSSIBLY know of their worth until you go shopping for them! Shoe shopping is not a sport for the weak, you know. You have to make sure the shoe fits, and get the right colors and... Oh, Viktor! I fear all my talking of shopping has been completely lost on you!" he groaned. "You are so DEPRIVED! Have you ever worn pair of heels? I didn't think so. It's no wonder that you don't understand shoes and their significance. We have to go shopping together at some point. We HAVE to."
Re: Secluded Area of the Lake
"I have never vorn heels and I do not plan to. Ever. Also, if you're calling me veak, let me point out that Quidditch is not for just anyvon. Do you know how much pressure there is on people like Regulus and me? The game doesn't end until the snitch gets caught. Can you imagine playing Quidditch for three veeks? I doubt it. Have you ever even seen a snitch? Have you? It's tiny. About the size of a valnut. It's small and fast and it's the seeker's job to find it and catch it before the other team. It's vorth 150 points. 150 points Fabian! It doesn't matter if your team is already leading, if you let the other team's seeker catch the snitch, you could lose and the entire team vill know that it is all. Your. Fault. Did I mention the bludgers? I don't think so. Vile you're trying to catch the snitch, you have to be looking out for big, evil, flying spheres. They'e made of iron, you know. That shit hurts if it hits you in the head. If the beater gets distracted by somethign then I have to vorry about catching the snitch so ve can finish the game and avoid being killed by crazy iron bludgers trying to kill me. I'm lucky though, Volkov and Vulchanov are two of the greatest beaters out there. But even they get distracted sometimes and then it's up to me to not get killed. Now they say that cobbing gets you fouled, but NO! It happens all the time out on the pitch during intense games. More than you vill ever know. I'd like to see you out on a broom. Not only is it a difficult job, but the pressure on the seeker! Vithout a good seeker, the game vould go on forever. Quidditch is not for the veak and everyvon knows that the seeker is the most important position there is. They just von't admit it because they like to think that their job is more important." He nods, looking quite smug.

Re: Secluded Area of the Lake
Fabian sneered. "Wipe that look off your face," he said, a bit grumpy. "It's very unbecoming. Now, OBVIOUSLY, you don't understand all the injuries one can get from shopping." He lifts his bangs up from off of his forehead. "See that? A girl's nail." he said, pointing to a fine line near his hairline. "I have a scar on my back from somebody's heel. I've gotten so many bruises from swinging purses. And, you think BLUDGERS are bad? Girls. Are. Vicious. When I grabbed a handbag somebody wanted once, they stabbed me with the back of their earring. Their earring, Viktor! Not to mention, if you realize you run out of money as you're checking out, it's the most embarrassing thing in the world to have to return something. Then, not only are you holding up the whole line, but they all know that you've run out of money and that you have to choose between, let's say, the sequined shirt, the perfect skinny jeans that show off your butt perfectly, or the leather boots. How does one make a decision like that?! It's like deciding to pull the plug on somebody in St. Mungo's! It's like... life or death. Anyways, what's worst of all is when you have no less than thirteen bags, plus a purse, and you have nobody who is willing to help you out. Not only do your arms ache from carrying all that, but your nails might've chipped and your feet are killing from wearing those new boots. And, not to mention, but your brother claims that holding your purse is 'degrading' so you're left alone to fend for yourself and pray that your bags don't rip! And don't get me started on the dirty looks! I can enjoy shopping, regardless of gender! Can't I?"
Re: Secluded Area of the Lake
Viktor rolled his eyes and decided it was time to give up even though Quidditch is totally better than shopping. "No, nothing wrong at all. But you vould never catch me shopping. It's just not my thing. Again, I vill leave that to you. You probably shop enough for the both of us anyvay."

Re: Secluded Area of the Lake
"This is true," Fabian nods. "And you were smart to admit defeat. I might've reevaluated our whole friendship and stabbed you with a heel." he grins, as if to show that there's no hard feelings.
Re: Secluded Area of the Lake
Viktor chuckles. "Vell ve can't have that now, can ve?"

Re: Secluded Area of the Lake
Fabian shook his head. "Wouldn't want anymore marks, would you?" he said pointing to his neck. "Heard you had a crazy time the other day. Underwater." he giggled.
Re: Secluded Area of the Lake
Viktor smirked but looked somewhat shocked. "How vould you know? Did Regulus tell you? Because I honestly can't picture him telling people about that."

"It was hard not to notice. He was covered in bruises and god-knows what else. And he was sopping wet." he smirked. "How was it? I mean, having underwater sex?"
Re: Secluded Area of the Lake
Viktor smirked again. "Bruises? Did I do that?" he asked innocently. He grinned at the memory. "It vas-- amazing. Brilliant. Incredible. Should I go on?"

Re: Secluded Area of the Lake
"Really?" Fabian raised his eyebrows. "I mean, I would think that doing it underwater... I don't know. Weird. Awkward. But, then again, you guys make the Locker Room floor seem sexy, no?" he chuckled.
Re: Secluded Area of the Lake
"Veird? Not really...Not at all awkward. And ve could make anything sexy," he said grinning. "Trust me."

Fabian laughed. "While I am sure you could, I am really in no place to answer that." he smiled.

Fabian smiled. "Yeah. Sure. Thanks for inviting me!" he stood up and waved. "I'll see you around, then! Bye!" he said before skipping off.
Re: Secluded Area of the Lake
Viktor smirked, looking mischievous. Little did Fabian know that he was now off to the dock to invite Cedric as well. He got up to head over to the dock.

Gideon strolled down here, in search of somebody. Not sure who yet. Seeing Alice, he yells "Hey!" as he approaches.

Re: Secluded Area of the Lake
Fabian made some sort of grand, sparkly, and random entrance that would have stunned whoever was nearby, had it not been his siblings who are far too used to his antics. He smiles and waves. "Hello, all!"
Re: Secluded Area of the Lake
Alice mock punches Gideon. "Nice of you to finally show up. I've been here for what, two weeks? Oh, hey Fay!" She does not tell him that all the cookies are gone. Not yet, anyway.
