[I just wish I knew what she meant by "dark wizard fingers" hahaha. I guess cause I have really thin hands and long bony fingers. Most dark wizards, or even just powerful wizards, are described to have those kinds of fingers I think. Lol. That would make her Umbridge. She has stubby fingers. *dies*
But yeah, I've started taking 'Hermione' as an insult. And being called a Pansy is no longer insulting.]

Pansy rounded a corner, in quite a good mood despite and because of the strange-ness last night. She noticed Severus coming from the opposite direction, and couldn't help but laugh as she saw his face. He looked positively giddy. "Hey, Sev!"

Severus looked up at the sound of his name and saw Pansy. "PANSY FLOWERRRRRR!" he yelled, glomping her ecstatically.

Pansy shook with laughter as he practically attacked her. "Someone's in a good mood?" She asked playfully, assuming he wasn't drunk because he seemed rather clear-headed and she didn't see a bottle or smell it on him. It'd been ages since she'd see him this happy sober, if she'd ever actually seen him this happy sober.

"YES! THE WORLD IS A WONDERFUL PLACE!" he exclaimed, half tempted to break out into song, but realizing he would never hear the end of mockery as he was in fact sober, and could not blame it on alcohol. "Though, judging from what I saw last night, you agree with me," he said with a smile, remembering the happy look on her face when he'd slipped in the common room to go to his dormitory.

"I'm glad you're in such a great mood, Sev! And yeah, last night was good," she answered him, a broad smile spreading across her face without her realizing it. "Wait, you were in the common room? I guess I wasn't paying attention to much else..." she laughed a little. She and Draco had so much sorrow and pain, but there was so much love and redemption there too. It was so tragically unfair, so ridiculously unexpected, but it was so... them. It couldn't happen any other way, and she couldn't have stopped smiling right now if she had to.

Severus smiled at her, knowing she'd been far too wrapped up in Draco to notice, not that he blamed her. "Yeah. I slipped in quietly, I figured Draco would still be talking to you after... yeah. I didn't really hang around, for obvious reasons. I'm happy for you guys, Pansy. It felt so wonderful to see you two happy, together," he said, his grin matching her own.

"Finally," Pansy laughed. "It's like old times again. Well, almost." She knew it would never be like old times, and she was fine with that. She didn't want to be his little follower anymore, and she wouldn't be. When he had disappeared, she'd become her own person who made her own decisions. She'd grown up. Thank Merlin for that. "So what's go you in such a lovely mood, anyway?" She absentmindedly played with a strand of her hair, twisting it between her fingers.

Severus nodded happily, still restraining himself from bursting into song. "Mhmm! We spent time together today, and it was wonderful! And I'll be spending this Hogsmeade weekend with her! AND I WON'T HAVE TO WEAR PURPLE POLKA DOTS!" he half-yelled, scaring off the Slytherin second year he vaguely recalled seeing before. He wondered if it was the same one whose pants he'd summoned accidentally that one time.
