After hearing the "WHAT?" called out by Severus, Narcissa opened the door a bit hesitantly. She had never been in the Boy's Dormitory before. "Severus, I'm coming in!" she said. She walked in and observed her surroundings carefully. "Wow, I've never been in here before," she said. She turned to Severus with a light smile. "Hey, um... What's wrong, just wondering? You seemed kind of..." she searched for a word. "Upset." she settled for.

Severus groaned and lifted the bottle in his hands up to his lips, but completely missed and instead poured the firebeer down his shirt. "Guh?" he mumbled, staring at her confusedly.

Told her I was sorry, told me I didn't need to be sorry, then she left, and then I left, and now I'm here, and she's not here, and it's all wrong, all wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong."

"Severus, c'mon, this is a big deal and I can't talk to you about it if you're drunk..." she sighed. "Can you tell me what she said? Word-for-word? I can't help you like this," she said, exasperation evident in her voice.

Severus groaned loudly and rolled off the bed, landing on the floor with a loud thump. Pulling himself up, he opened his drawer and pulled out one of the sober-up quills he'd gotten off one of the Slytherin girls at some point, and sucked on it until the world started sliding back into focus. "I already told you. She didn't say anything. She just stood there staring at me until I apologized and started walking away. She told me not to be sorry and then she left, and then I came here," he said, sincerely wishing he was still too drunk to remember things so clearly. He just wanted to disappear.

Like now," she leaned back a bit, careful not to fall off the bed. "You're miserable and you don't even know if she's upset or happy with your confession."

Severus sighed, and cleaned up the broken glass with a flick of his wand. "I don't need her to say anything. I saw the way she looked at me. She was horrified."
