Severus wanders down to the grounds, looking for Lily. He spots her by her fiery hair in the distance and waves, but as he approaches he realizes she is not, in fact, alone like normal. Sitting beside her and looking over her shoulder- too close- was a rather large, muscular guy, who looked like a total BAMF. He hardly knew why, but seeing that guy there next to his Lily pissed him the hell off. Trying to maintain a calm composure, he walked over to join them. "Hey Lily," he said with a smile, giving Krum a cold glare. "Who's this?" he asked, keeping his tone even.

[Viktor Krum - Inactive]

Viktor gently took the book and flipped through the pages before handing it back. "That sounds interesting. Maybe I vill read it ven you are done, if that's ok vith you." Viktor looked up at the angry looking boy and smiled. "Hello, I'm Viktor." He reached his hand out to shake Sev's.

Severus reluctantly shook his hand, looking him over in a very obvious manner, trying to size him up. He decided he looked like a bitch, and he didn't like him one bit, and he had no idea why, but he really fucking hated this guy. "Severus," he said sternly. "Severus Snape."

[Viktor Krum - Inactive]

Viktor smiled. "Oh, you are Severus. Lily told me about you."

Lily smiled as she saw Severus, but her friend's tone soured at seeing Viktor. She smiled uncertainly. "Um...yeah...hi Sev! Viktor just transferred from Durmstrang, Viktor, this is my friend Sev."

"Durmstrang?" he asked, arching a brow. "Mind if I join you guys?" he asked, pulling a Ron and sitting down directly between them without waiting for a response, looking rather disgruntled.

[Viktor Krum - Inactive]

Viktor frowned and scooted over to avoid getting grease on his sexy self. "Yes, I transfered here to 'Ogwarts a few days ago."

Lily frowned, it wasn't like Sev to be this snappy. "Erm...sure...seeing as you've already sat down between us..." She sighed, and smiled because she figured frowning wouldn't help the situation. "Yeah, Viktor's been quite nice to me, he likes books too!" Probably shouldn't mention the Quidditch part...he'd just think of him as James all over again...

Severus saw the look Lily gave him, and forced a smile as well. "That's nice," he said through clenched teeth, trying to calm himself down. "What do you like to read?"

Good...at least Sev doesn't seem quite so irrationally angry...I was hoping these two could get along...Oh well, I suppose.

[Viktor Krum - Inactive]

[Sorry Lily...I have to do it]

"Vell I mostly like to read books about Quidditch, and ven I am not reading I am flying." He smiled hoping he and Sev could be friends. "Vat do you like to do?"

...Oh dear. This might not be good. He's NOT James! There is so obsessive love or anything here! He's NOT James! He's a good-looking, talented, nice new friend of mine! Not James, Sev. Now...hopefully you'll see that.

Severus scowled. Lovely, just fucking lovely. Moves on from one stupid idiot jock to another. Typical. "Reading. Reading literature," he said stiffly, trying not be a total douche and failing.

[Viktor Krum - Inactive]

Viktor nodded. He was already starting to not like this guy. "Vell maybe you could read this book Lily is reading after I finish it."

Lily couldn't help but get mildly annoyed with Severus. Viktor had done nothing wrong...but then again, Sev was trying to defend her...Viktor WAS another jock...but he wasn't James Potter!
"Yeah, Viktor was quite interested in this book. Historical Fiction novel. Without any Quidditch."

"And what book is that?" he asked, turning to Lily and sliding closer to her, draping an arm around her protectively and leaning over to look at it, while not-so-subtly glaring at Viktor.

Lily raised her eyebrow at Sev, rolling her eyes. "Signora da Vinci. I just started it recently, though I got it a while ago." Hopefully Viktor doesn't think we're together!

[Sev=Reg? Eh. I know who your're supposed to be. XD]

[Viktor Krum - Inactive]

Viktor scowled. He knew what game Sev was playing, and he could play it to. In fact, he was the champ at this game. He even had a trophy for it. "So Lily, ven do you think ve could go flying again?"

"Flying? Again?" he turned to Lily, inquisitively. "You hate flying."

[The what, getting girls trophy? XD ]

..Not good...too late, way too later but not good... Lily smiled at Viktor, then turned to Sev. "I'd never been! It's...not that bad...Viktor has offered, kindly enough, to try and teach me so I can enjoy the view of the grounds without fearing for my life of falling off a broom! " She paused, turning back to Viktor. "Soon, I hope."

Severus was suddenly hit with the image of this bitch here on a broom with Lily, her arms around him, holding him tightly, and he really wanted to punch him out. However, he wasn't an idiot Gryffindor, and he could see quite plainly that even attempting such a thing would result in Severus being squished like a bug. "Oh. That's nice," he said, giving Viktor a look that was not at all nice.

"I am glad you liked it Lily." He smirked. "A lot can happen in the air. Do you fly Severus?"

[Yes...it's very shiny]

Severus would have liked nothing more than to slap a bitch for that completely unnecessary comment, that he was sure Krum had said just to piss him off. "No. I have better things to do with my time than waste it on broomsticks," he said coldly.

[Except it was his arms around her...which Sev might see as even worse. >_>]

Lily looked away, then apologetically at Viktor, a bit at a loss of what to say.

Maybe you should try taking a shower then. "Vell that's a real shame." Viktor looked away towards the grounds. He doesn't have the build for it anyway.
