This is ridiculous Lily sighed but smiled. "Er..so...how do you find the classes here, Viktor? Any favorites yet?" Sev's arm still on her shoulder, she felt awkward but didn't like the tense, angry air.

"Lily's very talented with charms," he said, completely oblivious to the innuendo. "She's quite the witch," he continued. A witch you would do well to keep your filthy paws off of, he added silently with his eyes.

Lily smiled and nodded, glad to be away from the dangerous subject of Quidditch. "Yeah, Charms is my favorite, along with Potions. Sev and I have always been potions partners, he's brilliant at Potions."
Viktor, please don't take his irrational bad mood too seriously...

Viktor decided to be the bigger person and try to be civil. He was so not doing it just to impress Lily. "Potions? That is impressive. I haff never been much of a potions person. I prefer spells."

"Thank you. I've just had a knack for it, it seems. "

[Sev: Are you going to chill here, or leave before their convo is over? Just curious.]

[Leave. Just waiting for you both to piss me off enough to go, or make me feel really shitty or awkward. None of that is hard.]

Severus smirked a little. No matter what this douche was good at, he knew potions was something nobody could beat him at. Hm. I wonder if he'd like to taste a concotion of mine. Something laced with cyanide. "Potions is one of my talents," he said, unconsciously pulling Lily closer to him.

Viktor clenched his fists and tried to keep calm. "Vell I'm sure you are a man of many." Viktor was not usually sarcastic but it was better than hitting this guy with Lily sitting there.

"That I am," he snarled, glaring daggers at him.

[I love how we're buddies on my one character, and at each others throats here.]

"Vell that's vonderful. So Severus, are you dating anyvon right now?" Viktor smiled smugly.

[I know! I was thinking that too. And Luna loves Dee but Viktor will probably end up hating her]

Lily felt Sev pull her closer, and moved the tiniest bit away, not forcing him to let go of her, but letting him know she wasn't exactly pleased with his treatment of her new friend.

[Awww. But Reg is gonna be friends with Dee after this whole fiasco is over, we decided]

Severus scowled again at the completely random question, obviously only asked to irritate him further. "No. Not yet," he said, meeting his eyes with a hard look.

[I'm waiting for us to just stop talking and start comparing dick size, we're being so cavemen-like. Territorial much, on Sev's part.]

[..except you're in the company of a lady, however entertaining that situation might be. As yes, both of them are being territorial, Sev just more so. It's quite the amusing conversation in that view. *Stag-minded James in SBP flashback* hahaha...haha... ]

Lily didn't want to say anything against Sev, for fear of making him feel like she couldn't trust him again. She'd just have to explain and apologize when Sev left...Viktor really deserved an apology no matter what, this had NO reasoning.

[Yeah, but not quite so much as he didn't just show up and be like "HI I HATE YOU 'CAUSE YOU SPOKE TO HER AND CAN FLY. GO DIE." But a tiny bit more subtle.]

[Oops I was supposed to respond. Fail. And yeah. A bit more subtle. Just a bit.]

"And you?" he said, glowering at him, completely oblivious to Lily's trying to move away.

Lily couldn't help but blush a bit and smile as she saw Viktor look at her when he mentioned he wasn't dating anyone...yet. She turned away, and realizing Severus hadn't noticed her disapproval, moved his arm completely off from around her. "Sev, I appreciate your conversation and friendship consideration and concern, but your tone is unnecessary. Viktor is my friend...just because he likes Quidditch you don't like him. "

Severus stood up, and glared at Lily too. "What are you talking about? Why would I be bothered with his liking quidditch?" he scowled, his eyes flickering back to the admittedly good looking and muscular guy who was now smirking. "Right then. I'll leave you and your friend alone," he snapped, storming off angry and hurt by her rejection.

"Ah..Sev.." Lily sighed, her face in her hands for a moment. "Didn't want to get him angry again..." She turned to Viktor. "I'm really sorry about him, I am. I don't know what got into him. "
