Draco sat down at one of the tables in the corner. He wasn't a very social person at the moment and he certainly hadn't prepared for the ball. He leaned back in the chair, staring at the entrance. He saw Pansy walk in and his mind went blank. She looked stunning. Everything about her was perfect. He wanted to walk over to her, but felt as if that would come off clingy. Instead, he stole glances at her as he waited for her to notice him.

[When do I take my potion? Another question, since when is Luna infatuated with Draco? rabbit

Oh my Rowling. It’s him. He was beautiful. It was as if he was made by the hands of God! Luna was going to talk to him, she took a step forward but then realized the shamrocks. What the? I look like a loon! She pulled her wand from her [umm… oops I didn’t think about this part] well she pulled out her wand and transformed the shamrocks into a short green cocktail dress. She was going to talk to him now. She had confidence. Having the Dark Lord call you beautiful and sleep with you kind of did that to you. She walked towards Draco and opened her mouth. Crap, what do I say?“Hi Draco,” she said dreamily… too dreamily but she didn’t notice.

Dean walks in,wearing his awesome TIGHT tights, looking for Angela and spots Danni. He sneaks around and comes up behind her and kisses her cheek. "You look fantastic, as usual"

[Ok I'm now under the influence of my potion.]

Pansy smiles but doesn't react much otherwise to Tam's hyper attack on her. She pats her on the arm absentmindedly, a peaceful smile on her face, her eyes half-lidded. "Yes, yes, it's rather nice, Tammydear." She slipped from Tam's grip and crossed the room airily once she spotted Draco, not paying attention to much of anything else.

Draco looked away from Pansy aftering hearing his name. He had expected to see a Slytherin, but the voice was too odd...He turned and saw: Loony?! "Um, what do you want, Loonybin?" He said this rather harshly and rude, but he didn't care. After all, he had been in a fight with this person earlier in the week. He noticed a punch had appeared in front of him and he took a sip of it as he waited for her response.

[There. I'll say he took the potion there.]

He takes out his potion and looks at it nervously.

Pansy lowered herself into a seat next to Draco, resting her arms on the table and putting her chin in her hands. She glanced aimlessly around the room, still with her contented half-smile. "Hello Draco. Hello Loony."

*takes a drink from the cup in front of her and smiles again at Fleur, who she thinks is trying not to watch the door too obviously*

You're looking for Sirius aren't you? That's ok, it must be nice to have someone to wait for. At least I used to think it was nice, now I'm not so sure anymore and green really suits you, you know. I probably shouldn't have sat with you because you're far too pretty and it just makes me look worse by comparsion, not that I care I really don't because there are far more important things in life to be worried about but still it would be nice to feel a little attractive sometimes I'm sure. Do you enjoy it? I bet you enjoy it but then again maybe you get sick of it or maybe you don't even notice it and that's nice because you're a nice person all over and I wish I could stop talking now because I'm not making much sense....

Draco slipped his arm around Pansy's waist, as he gave Loony a puzzled look, "Um. Thanks?" He didn't understand what the hell was wrong with this girl, but apparently she didn't get the memo. He took one more sip of his punch, realizing that he suddenly felt particularly happy. He felt like he should be more social. He pulled Pansy's chair closer to his and grinned, wide, up at Loony, "SIT!" He yelled, "Let's talk about - what are those things? OH! - Hrumple Corned Snorcracks!" He let out a rather loud, cheery laugh.

Angel stalks up behind Dean and taps his shoulder, "Hi," He grins like a little child. He's wearing slightly dressier robes than normal but they're still black, the trim along the bottom was silver and his hair swept more than fell across his face. "Hello Danni." His grin turns more serious but his eyes give away the same feeling.

Pansy turned to Luna, blinking like she was trying to focus on her. "Thanks, Loony." She turned away again, staring at the swirl of green sparkles Demyx had created. The mad shapes of animals and faces and buildings and she couldn't stop staring at them. They were so lovely and she just felt so happy and it was like time was in slow motion. Her chair was pulled to the side and she found Draco's arm around her waist, so she laid her head on his shoulder, still staring off at the sparkles. She laughed at them, she could have counted each sparkle if she'd bothered to, but she watched as they made a horse, the eiffel tower, a duck, an umbrella, a dress, a clover...

HE ASKED ME TO SIT! Calm down Luna, calm down. Luna sat down and leaned towards Draco. "Well, they live in Sweden. And they have a crumple horn! And purple ears! I'm planning a trip actually! With Dee and Dean! We're going to find them! We really are! I've been working so hard to make the maps and everything" She took a deep breath and waited for his response. That hair! That beautiful, luscious hair!
