I don't know if that would ever happen. I think even if there was a reason the Doctor had no choice but to die, he wouldn't ask it of Amy, and she would refuse.
I'm kind of torn - I do still think River could be the one who kills him. But I sort of suspect they're going to have a twist and it won't be her.
I actually really hope that the ganger Doctor is the one killed - that whole 'you know you might be able to come back' bit seems a bit superfluous without the Ganger!Doctor returning and it would take care of the problem of killing the series off...

IDK, I just... Doctor Who is an institution. Even if they do want to go on hiatus again, they'd be mad to end it in a way that could never be restarted, you know? And if in 20 years time they started again, it would be too late just to say 'LOL KIDDING THAT WAS THE GANGER!' so it sort of has to be resolved a bit more neatly or something.
My two things that I want out of this season - The Doctor to not die, and Amy to not die. Also, I would very much like to see both Matt and Karen for one more season, just because the chemistry between them is so amazing. TBH I'm a little over the River arc. >.>
Of course she does. She is a perfect woman. XD
And I think I am going to start downloading confidential every week too, because they are just too awesome to miss out on.

I kind of love that they do that - they don't rely on technology all the time and it's a really awesome touch to the show.

Confession: My Inner!Girls were a bit nuts, too. Hermione was horrified because if anyone had tried to do that with Kiora, she'd have wanted to murder them - Molly's Mama!Bear senses were pretty much going the same way. And Inner!Lily is just incredibly weirded out because she looks at Amy and sees herself and that is just really confronting and confusing for her.
