Viktor walks over and sits under a tree with his sexy man hands. He smells like a man because he is wearing Old Spice. He grabs his supplies...and starts to knit.

Scorpius is walking the grounds and spots Viktor sitting under a tree. "Hey Viktor," he says smiling and walking over. "What are you doing?" he asks confused when spotting the knitting needles. He recalls a previous conversation in which Viktor had joked about taking up knitting.

Viktor looks up and smiles. "Hey Scorpius. I figured I'd try out this knitting thing- but it's not going that great." He holds up his disfigured hat thing. "I think I might need to ask Herm-own-ninny for help vith this." He laughs. "Care to join?"

"Sure." He hands Scorpius an extra pair of knitting needles that he just so happens to have. "Vell first, you hold the needles like so." Viktor shows Scorpius how to hold the needles which I will not explain because I have no idea how to knit.

Scorpius hold the needles as instructed, his eyes carefully watching Viktor's big, sexy hands. "Mmkay," he say, extremely concentrated. He thinks for a moment of how weird the small needles feel in his hands, but then thinks this must be how Gellert feels when jacking off.

Scorpius holds the yarn and the needles, then watches carefully as Viktor shows him how to cast on. He looks back down at his own yarn and needles and frowns for a moment. Damn, this is kind of complicated. He begins trying to slip a knot onto the shaft of the needle, and after struggling for a moment, he finally gets it on. "Okay, what next?"

"Now you take the needles like so, and you loop it through like this." Viktor demonstrates the process which I will not go into detail with because like I said, I am not a knitter.

"Hmm, alright," he says, still frowning in concentration. He tries to mimic Viktor's actions, and after countless fails, he finally manages to do it. "How many time to I keep doing this for?" he asks as he loops the yarn onto the needle again.

"Vell it depends 'ow long the scarf is going to be. The longer the scarf, the longer you haff to repeat the step." Viktor continues on his scarf and hopes Regulus loves it.

"Alright," he replies. He continues to loop the yarn around the needle as the two sat in companionable silence. When there was about seven inches of loops on the shaft, he stops and looks at Viktor. "I think this is a good width," he says, unsure of what to do next.

Viktor looks at Scorp's scarf and nods. "That looks good. Ok, so now ve haff to -insert instructions here-. Got it?" He smiles, glad to have his BFF here to share their love of knitting.

"Okay," he says, then begins to bind off, because that is what the instructions say online and it has been ages since Dom has tried knitting. "You know, I'm kind of excited to see how this turns out. I just hope Faye doesn't take the mickey out of me for knitting." He continues to bind off, watching as the loops transfer from one needle to the other.

"I don't know," he says with a slight sigh as he continues knitting. "I told her once that I used to love gardening with my Grandmum when I was younger, and I could see the mockery in her eyes. I mean, I don't know, is there some manly hobby guys are supposed to do? Does it really matter?"
