Lily walked out onto the slight beach by the lake, taking her shoes off beforehand so she could feel the sand in her toes. That, and her feet hurt. She basked in the cool light of the moon and the gentle breeze off the lake, and felt calm at the beauty of the moon's reflection on the water.

Severus is walking along the shore line, more than a little stressed about too many things. He sees Lily in the distance and smiles, despite the fact she's part of the reason he's so tense to begin with. He approaches her and gives her a hug. "Hey, Lily," he said with a small smile.
