Padma wakes up with a jolt, and turns red when she realizes she's spent the entire night here. Andrew was still asleep. She quietly sneaked out and went to the lake.

Gabby follows Ron to a blank stretch of wall. "I zought zere would be a room 'ere." She looks around blankly.

"There is," Ron says smiling. "Hold on." He walks past the wall three times while thinking, I need a place to play chess with Gabby, that no one else can enter. Once the door appears, he opens it, glances around, then holds the door open for Gabby to pass through. Once inside, Ron looks around some more and spots a nice chess center with comfy chairs, sitting in front of a nice fire. "Will this do?" he asks.

Gabby's eyes widened in amazement as the appeared. "Yes, zis will do." She sits down in the nearest chair, her eyes following him as he sat across from her. "So, 'ow do you play?"

Ron explains the rules carefully, realizing that there is quite a bit for her to grasp. "We can just do a practice run," he suggests. "That way you can get a hang of the game a bit."

Ron watches as the pawn slides on the board, then calls out his next move. They go back and forth in taking turns, and he points out as many tips as possible along the way. In the end, it comes down to just her king and his. He thinks carefully for a moment, then has the king move one space to the right.

Faye entered the Room of Requirement after wishing for a space where only she and Scorpius could enter. She sat down on the couch that had appeared and nestled in the far right corner. She pulled a blanket over her and snuggled up to the arm, waiting for Scorpius.

Scorpius enters the room, carrying a few bottles of Firebeer in both hands. "Nice place," he approves glancing around. He walks over to the couch and sits next to her on the couch. He opens her a bottle of firebeer, passes it to her, then opens one for himself.

Faye shrugs and takes the bottle of Firebeer from him. She hadn't put too much thought into the place besides asking it to provide a good escape. She moved from leaning against the arm of the chair, to rest against Scorpius. Her hands popped open the drink and she took a small sip.

Scorpius places an arm on the back of the couch behind her, then takes a long sip of his drink. He racks his brain for a conversation starter, but his mind just keeps going back to what happened in the dorm. "Err, I've started knitting," he admits after a long silence and then takes a swig of his drink. He waits, curious for her reaction to the news, because he knows it's not a manly thing to do.

Faye took a large swig of the Firebeer and slowly began to feel her body tingle, "Hmm?" She muttered, she twirled a strand of her hair around her finger, "You going to make me a sweater?" She smiled and rested her head on his shoulder, lifting the bottle up as she moved her legs into a comfortable spot on the couch, "I like sweaters, scarves, and hats. My great-grandpappy knitted. He made me a stocking. I don't know what to do with a stocking," She took another sip of her drink, "Don't make me a stocking...."

"A sweater, hmm?" he says, taking a sip of his drink. He feels relief that she doesn't mock, question, or even comment on why he started knitting in the first place. "I'll have to make sure it matches the scarf I made you. Viktor's a really good teacher. He definitely has the whole knitting thing down."
