Remus frowned and gave Raksha a hug. "I'm sorry they do that. That's wrong of them." He's decided that he really does not like these other wolves, and he's glad that he met Raksha first instead of them. Raksha leaned into the hug, realising vaguely that this was the first hug he'd actually received in about 3 years, besides the one he'd stolen form Hermione. "Thank you. I hate them." He squeezed back and just sat there for a bit.

James, not hearing Katie, ran until he saw her later in the woods. Still as the stag, he took a step back into the shadows, not sure he wanted to talk to anyone yet. Just his luck, though, he stepped on stick that broke with a loud crack. He jumped, then changed back into a human. "Shit! Katie? What're you doing here?" AND YES HE'S FREAKING WEARING CLOTHES. If McGoogles can turn into a cat and back in front of a whole classroom of students, then, well...

James sighed. "You shouldn't worry about me... Look, we have to get you back. The Forest is dangerous at night." Well, it was dangerous any time of day. Just at night, a little more so. He lit up his wand which SOMEHOW survived the transformation, and did the Point Me charm to find the way out.

James stopped in his tracks. She was good. "Fine. Whatever. It's Sirius. He freaked out because I'm taking Fleur to prom. Happy?" He didn't really feel like going into detail. The fact that Sirius was never going to speak to him? Well, hopefully there was still time to change that. He had forever to try.

She had known that this was why Sirius had asked her, but it was still a blow for her. She sucked in her breath and pressed on, this was not about her, "So Sirius flipped out. Do you think he should have? Do you think it was wrong of him too...?"

James shrugged. "He's had forever to ask her. She said yes to me." In truth, he didn't really know. Maybe it depended on who Fleur would have chosen. Maybe it depended on whether Sirius was, well, serious about Fleur... He felt like a bit of a fuckup, but it wasn't his fault. Of course it wasn't his fault. Sirius hadn't asked Fleur. He had. That was all.

"Okay, I get you, but can't you see why he would be annoyed?" Katie was trying very hard to be inpartial, because James really needed it. he didn't need someone judging him and telling him what he had done was wrong. No doubt Sirius had done that already.

"I know I'm a fuckup, okay? I know Sirius has every right to hate my guts and kill me out in the middle of the Forest where no one would ever find my body." That may or may not have been one of the reasons he had kept moving. "I don't need to be told I fucked up. There's a path right there. It'll lead out near the Whomping Willow." He wasn't sure if he wanted to stay in the Forest or come out with Katie. If he stayed int he Forest, he would never have to see Sirius again... it was a tempting thought.

Katie watched him leave hoping that he wouldnt do anything stupid. She turned around as he transformed the realised that she didn't know her way out. She wandered around in the firset, it was getting darker. She started breathing heavily and stumbling in the dark forest. [I feel so shit... soo... imagine more stumbling] Finally she fell out on to her hands and knees. She looked up to see the sky and the castle. Her breathing still laboured she made her way back, covered in cuts and dirt.

"You're welcome. And now you're here and you have me. I'll be here whenever you need help." Remus smiled and sat there for a bit with Raksha. He'd have to go inside soon, but he really was enjoying his time out here.

*Hermione, ~~having wiped the drool from her chin after all that time with shirtless Viktor~~, walks down to the edge of the Forbidden Forest, vaguely hoping to see James. She remembers Katie saying they'd run pretty deep into the Forest and she hesitates. She's heavily pregnant (her back is killing her and she can barely waddle, let alone run if something decides it wants to eat her) and alone. She shouldn't go in there... Her eyes strain into the darkness of the trees, hoping against hope to spot some telltale sign of movement.*

BY SOME MIRACLE (AWF's own brand of magic), James heard Mya. He'd been a stag for a while and was starting to forget that he was still in stag form. Thus, when he walked out of the trees, he actually TROTTED out of the trees toward Mya. She wasn't the kind of person he could just ignore and hope they'd go away. This was Mya. She probably wouldn't go away until she had the baby on the spot, and then she'd storm into the forest to find James and kick his ass for making her wait.

*Hermione is extremely glad that James has not made her a) wait, or b) storm her new mother arse into the Forest after him, because then she'd have to hurt him. And she wouldn't like that - James is for laughs and hugs, not for arse-kicking. She gasps a little bit as the majestic stag trots towards her - she's never seen James in his animagus form before, and it's amazing. She smiles and lifts a hand, running it gently along his nose and then tracing his antlers a bit, speaking softly.*

Hey. I've never met Prongs before... You're amazing. Bet you don't get fleas....
