Marid sat down mid-air. "Well. I'm not necissarily (sp sorry) a death like you think of it. I have to utterly destroy everything that makes him Djinn. Anything that gives him power, all of it. "My cheek?" he asked wonderingly, his fingers flying up to touch it in confusion. He looked at his finger to see a droplet of silver blood on it, and stared at Marid. "He was here? But- when? How? Those were his footsteps, then?"

"Possibly. He got really distracted a few times. Want to see?" Marid held up a hand, and a small globe of light appeared, showing a silver tinged version of Hogwarts, and two shining figures. The gold one held a huge axe in one hand and a spear int he other, and the silver one held onto two small blades weakly. They charged at each other, and silver splashed across the area in a liquid arc when they met. "If he was human, that would have killed him. He changed his body structure just in time to miss being cut in half."

Regulus tried to tear his gaze away but couldn't move, too disturbed to resist watching, like a horrible train wreck or a car crash, he just had to watch it happen. He threw his hands up over his eyes. "No! I don't want to watch this! I don't need to see him hurt," he pleaded.

"Hmm. I think you do. But i'm not going to force you to watch it." he closed the orb just as his golden self stood over a fallen Djinn, axe raised for a final blow. And he knew Reg had seen it.

Lucy decided to leave the Great Hall after receiving her father's recent letter about political news today. Her hands wiped on her jeans after throwing the piece of paper into the Forbidden Forest, wanting to rid herself of her father's creepy, overbearing ways. She turned to head back to the castle and ran into someone she hadn't met before, but had certainly heard about. "Oh, err, sorry," she quickly gathered herself, "Didn't see you there?"

He smirked a little, looking down at her as he brushed off his jeans with a twinkle in his eye. "Are you asking me or telling me?" he says, brushing his hair out of his eyes, "because judging from the fact that your cheeks are bright red you really didn't see me, although I suppose if you did, and you knocked into me, per say, because you wanted a cheesy excuse to talk to me, rest assured, I'm very flattered." He surveyed her for a moment, deciding whether or not to just brush her off and head on his way.

"Probably both, if that makes sense," Lucy shrugged and her right hand moved up to her cheeks, which were probably, as he said, bright red. She had inherited that fierce shade of blush from her family, "The cheeks being red is genetic from my father's side of the family. Which, personally, I don't enjoy discussing, since my father is one of the pricks who thinks he can delegate everyone..." She murmured, frowning. She eyed him curiously, knowing him from somewhere, "You look familiar. You're one of those transfers from Durmstrang, aren't you?"

"One of those transfers from Durmstrang?" he asked, somewhat loftily, "I suppose you're referring to me and that world famous Quidditch player who seems to have an awful lot of fangirls -- and boys -- swarming him. But yeah, I am, I was kicked out -- a scandal with the Dark Arts," he says, rather mysteriously.

"Yeah, Quidditch doesn't matter much to me. It's simply there for the entertainment of others. Sometimes, it poses as a great distraction for when there are, obviously, better things happening in the real world," she crossed her arms, defensively, and quirked a brow, "I didn't expect any less from that World Famous hooplah, but I wasn't interested in his past. Yours seems rather interesting. Kicked out, huh? Are you one of those people who thinks that they're going to rule the world one day? Because, honestly, most of the students I've seen who believe that are nutters and don't know the first thing about climbing up a political hierarchy."

Thing is, though, most girls I've met who use the phrase 'political hierarchy' are only trying to seem intelligent with their extensive usage of long words, and I can't tell if you're one of them. "Oh, I do love a good label," Lucy replied with a smirk, but appreciated that he didn't necessarily believe in 'ruling' the world, but doing something for it. The curiosity for what that something might be dramatically increased, "I don't know if I'm one of those people who try to seem intelligent. For starters, my smarts aren't found in all areas of study. For the most part, I have found myself fascinated with the politics of the Muggle World, for the people there have so many different forms of government that are intriguing. To me, you seem like you'd be the Vladimir Putin of the Wizarding World..." She smiled and continued, "See, Vladimir Putin was President of Russia, but there came a time when he was no longer eligible to run for the presidency. Despite that fact, the public continued to want him as their leader. Instead of surrendering to the laws of the land, Putin manipulated his way back into power by using a puppet, known as Dmitri Medvedev, the current president of Russia, who chose Putin to be his Prime Minister. Thus, forcing himself back to his rightful place as controller of all public policies. You strike me as someone like that and I would, indeed, take that as a compliment."
