Regulus looked at him in mock-horror. "No way! It's beautiful," he said with a chortle, touching his own cheek with the scarf. "It is, actually. It's soft and wonderful, and it smells like you," he said, resting his head on his shoulder. "Thank you, Viktor," he said softly, holding him tightly.

Regulus stared at him incredulously. "Someone better than you? Who the hell is better than you?! You're the best boyfriend I could ever ask for," he said, slightly offended. "What do you mean, taking advantage of me?" he asked, confused.

Viktor shrugged and looked back at Regulus. "It's Cormac. Half of the stuff he says doesn't make sense. I think he said something about me being too old for you."

Regulus clenched his fists in anger. Too old for him. That's what Remus had said Sirius had told him, that Viktor was too old for him. "But you're not! You're not that much older! I'm fifteen! I know what I'm doing!" he said frustratedly, and frowning. Why did everyone always treat him like a child? He wasn't one, he was old enough to make his own choices.

Except he's not and he's a little kid who doesn't really know what's good for him and is easily persuaded.

Regulus sighed and hugged Viktor tightly. "It doesn't matter. Especially not anymore. He said... he said he never wants to talk to me again," he said sadly, hugging Viktor.

Viktor frowned and hugged Regulus back. Personally, he'd love if Cormac was trampled by a heard of thestrals, but Regulus for some reason still liked him as a friend. "Vy vould he say that?"

"I don't know. I was just trying to see how badly he was hurt, and if he was okay, but he just kept yelling at me. He hates me now," he said, feeling miserable. "He was my best friend all these years, but now he's gone. I don't really have a lot of friends, honestly," he said, trying to think of who he really had anymore. The closest people he had to friends at this point were Faye and Gellert.
