Sirius feels a little awkward and takes her hands off his hips, but still smiles widely. "Remus! He asked me to be the baby's godfather! I'm so proud, Katie. "Oh! Thats wonderful!" Katie frowned at her hands being removed, what was with Sirius today? No kiss on greeting? He had been so kind at loving at the prom. "They,,,, trust you with the baby? Wow... And the other news?"

Sirius rolled his eyes. "Katie, I love that little girl with all my heart- they know I'd keep her safe," he said with a smile, which falters. "Look, I don't know how you're going to take this next bit, but I need to tell you. Just... you know I care about you, right? And you're still one of my closest friends?" he said tentatively.

"Katie, please don't be angry. I'm the happiest I've ever felt in... ever, really. Katie- after prom, Fleur and I... we talked. And you should know that, well, I finally forced myself to tell her the truth. And the truth is, I... I have feelings for her- not normal feelings. Katie stepped back her eyes welling with tears. "N- no. Not again..." She whispered in a small voice. She was seeing Sirius in a whole different light. He was not her best friend. He was a stranger to her now. "What is wrong with you? Again Sirius? Was once not enough for you?!" She suddenly exploded at him. The tears spilled over the edge. She did not wipe them away. She had always know this was going to happen but never had admitted it to herself. In the back on her mind she had convinced herself that he would chose her in the end.

Sirius tried his best not to facepalm, not having realized quite how upset she'd be. He reached out to wipe her tears away, a look of pity in his eyes. "Katie, hun, I'm sorry. I... But I thought- I thought we were past that, Katie. We were friends, we've been friends, I thought- I thought you'd finally moved on, Katie. I mean, you know that's all we've been. I've tried to act like it, Katie- I haven't been trying to lead you on," he said softly, feeling terrible for her, but refusing to regret his decision.

What is wrong with you dammit?!" She started crying harder, all the emotions from everytime he had seen her with another girl had started to pour out. She was sick of being the second choice to everyone all the time. She would not take this lying down.

So you can either walk away now and be miserable, or you can let me be your friend, so I can do whatever I can to make this easier on you, because I really, really, really don't want to hurt you. But I'm not changing my mind- I have never been more sure of any decision."

She walked up and shoved him backwards.

I had hoped you would be mature enough to understand, but I was wrong. You're still that silly, naive girl you used to be- you need to grow up. I am not trying to hurt you, and I'm not doing this to hurt you. I didn't flirt with that blonde chic because I knew it would upset you. I didn't kiss Fleur at your party to piss you off. And I'm not with Fleur because I want to see you hurt. It's about time you figured that out, Katie. I never promised you anything, other than my friendship. If you want to throw that away, then fine. But I'll miss you like hell, and I know you'll regret it. I hate to see you like this, and you have no idea what it makes me feel like to see you this upset. But I suppose that doesn't matter. Sirius rolls his eyes and leaves, feeling insanely depressed. Whatever. Her loss.

Cormac walks up to the ledge of the rock. He sits down and puts his legs over the edge. There was a nice breeze floating around. The sun was rather warm, but, the breeze calmed everything down. Cormac brushed his right hand through his short, curly, brown hair. Life lately had been tough, complicated, sad, happy. So many feelings. He was content with just being friends with Penny now. Reg and Viktor would most likely soon to be back together. Cormac was so tired and needed a break. He sat back on the rock and closed his eyes. He just layed there listening to the waves of the lake.

Sirius struts down to the lake looking as sexy as ever and for once is NOT waiting for the women to flock, as he is thinking about Fleur. Eowyn, however, waits for the girls- or someone like Viktor- or somebody else?- to show up.

Viktor walks over to Sirius looking happy as a clam. Alex is confused because since when is a clam happy? It's a clam. Anyway, Viktor sits down next to Sirius, unsure of his mood because of what happened with Reg the other day. "Hey."
