Regulus chortled and pulled out his snitch, determined to practice despite the Ravenclaw crazy. He lets it fly off into the wind and closes his eyes a moment, so he doesn't know where it's gone. He proceeds to speed around the pitch until a glint of gold catches his eye, near the bottom of the goal posts on the other end of the field. Forgetting about Nikki, he speeds off after it in an insanely steep dive.

Nikki noticed Reg zoom off after the Snitch. She had no hope of out matching him on the broom. So instead, she began to fly on her own, while singing the lovely melody of 99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall.

Regulus swerves at the last second, the snitch in hand as his feet graze the grass before he flies up again back to Nikki. "A lunatic with a lovely singing voice! How pleasant," he joked, smiling.

"Aww, you flatter me." Nikki lazily battered her eyelashes at him. "Don't mind my insanity, I am rather harmless."

Regulus laughed, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "Your insanity is perfectly charming," he said with a wink, toying with the wings of the snitch in his palm.

"OH GOOD. SOMETIMES I THINK I AM TOO CRAZY!" Nikki realized she didn't need to yell. "Sorry about the yelling..."

Regulus held the broom between his thighs so he could plug his ears. "Goddammit! Quit yelling!" he said with a grin, wondering why he was hanging out with the nutter anwyay.

Regulus smiles and waves goodbye, practicing for a few hours before heading to the locker room.

Viktor struts out onto the field with his broom because Regulus needs to come lie some more. He gets on his broom and flies around and stuff.

Regulus walks onto the pitch, following behind Viktor. He mounts his broom and takes off after him. He realizes this is the first time he's flown while high, and damn, is it TRIPPY. Because Eowyn thinks that sounds really trippy. He's looked sickly in the past, but right now he's downright gaunt and pallid, and has clearly lost some weight. He hasn't been eating, or sleeping, for that matter, and it shows; or it would, in better light. "Viktor!" he calls after him with a grin, flying next to him.

Viktor smiles when he hears Regulus' voice and turns around, frowning at what he sees. "Regulus. Vot happened to you?"

Regulus has no idea what Viktor is talking about, honestly. "Huh? What do you mean?" he asked, genuinely confounded. He flies close to him to kiss him on the cheek.

Regulus is slightly offended. "I thought you liked the way I looked," he said with a pout, looking hurt. "Really, though, what do you mean?"

Regulus shakes his head. "I've still got a bit of a cold, but I guess I'm just tired. Not been sleeping well. Or at all, really," he admitted. "I'm fine, love. Let's fly!" he said with a grin, pulling out the snitch.

Viktor eyes Regulus nervously. "Ok. If you're sure. I don't vant you to fly if you're that tired."

Regulus smiles genuinely. "Don't worry, I'm okay," he says, letting the snitch go and letting it escape for a moment before taking off after it.

Viktor sighs and chases after the snitch while still keeping an eye on Regulus so he doesn't crash into the whomping willow or do something stupid.

Regulus speeds after it, but his vision is sliding in and out of focus. He feels faint, but struggles to move towards the snitch, inching closer, closer, closer, until it seems to blink out of sight- along with the rest of the pitch. He starts to lose his grip and slides off his broom, trying to land on the grass but falls off too quickly from a few yards off the ground, landing in a heap on the grass.

Viktor looks back and sees Regulus in a heap. He quickly turns around and flies back to the ground landing next to Regulus. "Regulus, are you ok?" He sits there, not sure if he should try and move Reg.

Regulus groans and sits up, looking dazed. "I'm fine. What happened?" he asked, trying to figure out when he went from the air to the ground.

Viktor puts his hand on Regulus back to keep him from falling over. "You fell. I knew you should not haff flown."
