Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
Hermione's face lights up as Luna joins her. "Hello," she says, her voice soft and affectionate. She glances around to be sure nobody is watching, then looks twice because this is usually the moment where Gideon Prewett appears, and reaches out to squeeze her girlfriend's hand gently. "I've missed you," she admits quietly.

Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
Luna smiles, beaming as Hermione's hand squeezes her own. "I missed you too," she says softly, smiling at Hermione like she's the most amazing person Luna's ever met, which she sort of is. "How have you been?" she asks happily before she realizes what happened in the last few moments they spent together. "Did you...talk to Gideon...About..." She trails off, figuring that Hermione knows what she means. She is the cleverest witch of her age, after all.
Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
Hermione flushes and nods. "I did. He was, erm, rather sweet about it, actually, in his own way," she says, remembering their conversation in the common room. "He said he'd keep it to himself, and I think he'll keep his word. Next time I won't forget to lock the door!" Hermione says, then flushes twice as dark as she realises how presumptuous that is. "Erm, I mean, if you wanted a next time," she clarifies, fidgeting awkwardly.

Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
Luna smiles happily, because if Gideon won't tell anyone then Hermione should be happy, and a happy Hermione makes for a happy Luna. "Well, that's nice of him. I'm glad," she said smiling, turning pink at the next time comment because she most certainly would like a next time, and a time after that, and a time after that. "I'd like a next time," she whispers quietly, looking back up at Hermione once the blushing has stopped.
Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
Hermione's heart stops for just a second and she beams at Luna's confession, because before they'd been interrupted, that had been the best night of her young life to date and the idea of a series of repeats (without the audience, thanks) is appealing in every which way to her. "Good. Me too," she says, as if that wasn't already clear enough. Looking around once more to make sure they're truly alone, Hermione leans in and gives her girlfriend a soft kiss.

Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
Luna's heart skips a beat, she hadn't been expecting a kiss from Hermione. Not in a place like the library. She's still greaming when Hermione pulls away, wondering what she did to get so lucky and have a girlfriend like Hermione. "I made you something," she says, grinning happily as she reaches into her bag and pulls out a small wrapped box, handing it over to Hermione, and waiting for her to open the cork necklace inside.
Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
Hermione is touched by the gesture, her face shining with her affection for Luna as she accepts the small box. "But I don't have anything for you," she says a little blankly, almost apologising as she unwraps the cork necklace. She holds it up, for half a second she's nonplussed because it is just a little odd, then she smiles because it is a gift from Luna, which makes it wonderful. "Did you make this? Thank you, Luna," she smiles, slipping it over her head and settling it around her neck. Now she can look down at it and think with pride: My girlfriend made this for me.

Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
"You don't have to give me anything. I just wanted to give you something. Just because." Luna's face lights up as Hermione puts the necklace on rather than putting it in her bag or pocket. "I did. It helps keep away the nargles," she admits shyly, knowing that Hermione never really did believe in all this stuff. But Luna does, so she's happy that her girlfriend is now protected from such creatures. "I'm glad you like it."
Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
Hermione cares about Luna so much that she doesn't even remind her that there's no concrete evidence on the existence of nargles. Instead she just smiles and puts the gift box in her bag, because she wants everything Luna gives her to be kept sacred and safe. "I love it," she corrects, her fingers toying affectionately with the corks about her neck. "So, shall we sit?" Hermione suggests, gesturing to one of the tables in a secluded corner where they can hold hands under the table and not be seen by others while they study because Mya thinks that would be kind of adorable. "I've just got a little reading to do for Defence Against the Dark Arts today, but I'd much rather do it while I spend time with you than in my dorm."

Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
Luna smiles again and nods as she walks over to the table with Hermione to sit down, still beaming because she thinks the necklace looks perfect around Hermione's neck. "I'd rather study here with you too," she says as they take their seats, and she looks around to make sure no one is near them before taking Hermione's hand in her own underneath the table where no one can see. "I should probably study that too. The last time I was with Dean, we worked mostly on charms and transfiguration. Defense has never been my strong subject," she admits sheepishly.
Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
Hermione's face glows just a little to feel Luna's hand around her own as they sit and study side by side. For someone like Hermione, this is pretty much perfection right now. She flicks to the right page of her book one-handed and looks over at Luna with a smile before she settles in to read. "Well, don't tell anyone this, but Defence is my weakest subject too," she admits, feeling a little strange because Hermione Granger does not admit to academic weakness, but feeling strangely alright admitting that to Luna. "I only got Exceeds Expectations in the OWL!"

Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
Luna looks rather surprised at hearing this information, though she giggles as Hermione adds that she only got an Exceeds. Only. "You do know that some people would love to get a grade like that on their OWL," she says teasingly, though Luna would probably be disappointed with an Exceeds as well, being a Ravenclaw and all.
Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
Hermione blushes and smiles at the playful teasing and shrugs the shoulder not currently connected to the hand Luna's holding under the table. "I know. It's just that if I'd managed to get Outstanding in Defence, I'd have gotten straight Os. Now that would've been impressive," she comments. She smiles over at her girlfriend and then, unable to stop herself, reaches across her body with her free hand to brush featherlight fingers through Luna's pale gold locks, retreating before anyone would even know what they had seen, had they happened to be watching. "You have the most beautiful hair," she breathes.

Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
Luna isn't surprised that Hermione got all Os besides that one Defense class. She still has no idea why she's not in Ravenclaw, though she will admit that Hermione is incredibly brave and bold, so that would explain her house. She blushes deeply at the compliment, not used to being called beautiful or pretty like Hermione always says she is. "Thank you," she says quietly, smiling happily because everything Hermione says his perfect. "I've always thought you had pretty hair...And eyes. You have the prettiest, brown eyes I've ever seen," she admits as she looks up at Hermione, the hand under the table lightly tracing circles on the back of her girlfriend's hand.
Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
Hermione's not so used to being called 'pretty' herself - she's used to being bushy haired Granger and told she needs to change herself in order to be considered pretty, so Luna's compliments mean the world to her - more than casual flirting from boys like Gideon who probably tell every girl she's pretty. She smiles, the hairs on her arm standing on end from the shockwaves sent out by Luna's touch. Merlin, she can't get enough of this, it's like an addiction. "Come with me," she murmurs, slipping out of her seat and leading Luna into the darkest recesses of the Library, where nobody, barely even Madam Pince, ever visits. Safely away from prying eyes, she backs Luna against a shelf and kisses her as deeply as she can, her hands braced on the wood either side of her girlfriend's head, keeping her in place.

Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
Luna smiles when she's led to the back of the library, knowing that she's not just taking her to show her some interesting book back here. Though, if that did happen, Luna would probably be extremely disappointed. But she's not because as usual, her girlfriend doesn't let her down. She's led Luna back here to do exactly what Luna was hoping for. Luna eagerly returns the kiss, setting a hand on either side of Hermione's waist as she loses herself in the dizzying spell that washes over her every time her lips meet Hermione's.
Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
Hermione whimpers with pleasure to feel Luna's hands at her waist and moves in for more contact, pressing her upper body flush against the smaller girl's. Her hands come down from the smooth wood of the bookshelves, brushing over Luna's cheeks and further down her body, working into the miniscule amount of space between the two girls and roaming freely over Luna's body, almost taking possession of her with her hands. One settles at the very base of Luna's back, fingers just brushing her backside, and the other moves up to tangle in the long, silky locks of hair, tilting Luna's face back to grant her greater access to the other girl's mouth.

Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
Luna shudders as she feels Hermione's hands exploring her body, bringing back memories of the night of the mixer with both of them together, sharing that intimate moment like Luna had never done with another person before. She sighs happily as she feels Hermione's hand tangled in her hair, and brings both hands up to lightly rest on the other girl's cheeks, gently cupping her face as she kisses her deeply, exploring Hermione's warm, sweet mouth as she lets out a soft, quiet moan, relieved that they're far back enough to not have to worry about anyone. Also, this is a library, so it's not likely that Gideon will be showing up anytime soon.
Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
Hearing Luna's quiet moan sends a jolt of electricity running right through Hermione's body. She wonders if Luna's hands can feel the heat radiating from her cheeks as they kiss, her tongue sweeping hungrily through the other girl's delicious mouth and dancing against her own with passionate abandon. The hand at the base of Luna's spine moves down, brushing over her arse and hooking behind her leg, lifting it up to brace against her as she slots her body neatly between Luna's thighs. Her hips grind into the smaller girl's and Hermione moves on to kissing Luna's neck while her hand snakes its way underneath the pleated grey Hogwarts skirt, stroking the soft skin of Luna's leg as she moves upwards.

Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
Luna's heart begins racing as she feels Hermione's hand making its way up her leg, and has no intentions of stopping it, nor does she want to stop Hermione from kissing her neck. But she then remembers where they are, which happens to be a very public place, and even though they're pretty well hidden, she remembers that Gideon found them last time because they're not exactly quiet when they're together like this. She reluctantly places a hand on Hermione's, stopping it from moving up her leg, though her face shows that she'd rather not. "Hermione," she says softly, using her other hand to lightly tilt her girlfriend's face to look her in the eyes. "We should go...somewhere more private," she whispers, sounding somewhat out of breath from their brief intimate moment.
Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
Hermione gasps when Luna pushes her away from their intimate position, her eyes a little hazy with lust as she pants, staring into her girlfriend's eyes. It takes her a moment to filter through the rushing in her ears to decipher Luna's words, and then she smiles, reluctantly but determinedly stepping completely away from Luna's tempting body. "Alright," she gasps, running a hand through her hair as she gets her breathing under control. She makes her way back to their abandoned seats with Luna, her eyes playing teasing games with the young Ravenclaw the whole while, and they exit the Library for their next destination, where I shall post now.

Re: The Library: Behind a Bookshelf
Viktor is here looking for a book on something for one of his classes. He's all alone because it is not Wednesday so he's not planning on meeting up with his best friend, Hermione, though he wouldn't be disappointed if she showed up.

Justina is here on the other side of the shelf. Creeping. She covers her mouth to muffle the gasp that escapes her lips when she sees him. Of course he was here, just like she knew he'd be. What a studious student. She sighs and waits for the perfect moment to pounce.

Viktor doesn't hear anyone. Well, he hears the occasional whisper but that's expected in a library. He continues looking through the shelves trying to find that book he needs for his class because it's rather important.
