"Only the best chocolate and marshmallows for our common room camp-out. The blacks marshmallows aren't too bad though. You should have seen Ginny's face when she watched me eat a marshmallow that I caught on fire," he said with a laugh, recalling his sister's look of disgust. Luna had to retype this because she accidentally made Fred talk with Viktor's accent. Oops.

"I know, right? She's not fazed by anything else that I do, but I eat a somewhat blacked marshmallow and she acts like I just stuck one of Hagrid's rock cakes in my mouth," he says, shaking his head in confusion.

"Well, George may or may not have dared me to lick a rock while we were younger. I didn't know any better at the time!" He grinned and stroked his imaginary goatee. "Huh. I like the way you think, Spinnet. Just make sure you run off before they break their teeth and want revenge. Or hide it in a plate of cookies and pretend you never knew it was there in the first place."

"Exactly! See, aren't I a good partner in crime?" Alicia said with a greamilaugh, which is a combination of a grin, a beam, a smile, and a laugh. It is quite charming to be around a greamilaugher.

"Sounds like a plan. I can be your real favorite and we just won't tell Georgie about it." Alicia nodded seriously. She flipped through a few more pages in the book before coming to a page that looked promising. "Here, you missed this one. I think this charm will work nicely."

"Sounds good to me." He leaned over to read the page Alicia was looking at over her shoulder. Some charm that had to do with mirror reflections and such. "Huh. That looks perfect, actually. Good job, partner! Looks like we've got ourselves some practicing to do."

"A cowboy? Well, I hope I don't look like one. I doubt I could pull off those funny hats," he said with a laugh. "Practice would be good. The charm doesn't look too tricky though, so I'm sure we'll figure it out quickly enough."

Remus had promised not to spend all of Christmas day in the library, but that didn't mean he wasn't going to be in here for a little bit. He really couldn't help himself, honestly. It doesn't take long for him to find a book and a comfy chair in a corner to sit and get lost in his book in. It just always felt good to get lost in a book, especially if it helped take your mind off of what you might be considering doing later that night with a certain someone. Oh geez, he was not going to think abut it again. Nope. No he was not. Not until he had no choice. It's not that he didn't want to go through with it, it's just that he was very nervous about it and was the sort to actually really worry about failing a lot, especially when the person you were with obviously had a lot more experience in that area of activity. Nope. Just stop thinking about it. And that's what he does as he continues to read his book, oblivious to his surroundings.

And Amethyst is writing this out now because she's probably going to be going off to bed soon and figures we may as well get it started, since it'll be fun for them to spend some time together before the Christmas dinner with Molly and everyone. Yeah. Sooo...*flops on floor and forgets to cue Jack because she's in pain*

Jack is happily oblivious to any nervousness and inner turmoil Remus may be experiencing. He's pretty relaxed and happy - it's Christmas, after all - and his only thoughts on any late night activities that may or may not occur in the course of the evening are 'hey, maybe I'll get lucky.' He spots Remus in a chair in the corner and goes to perch lightly on the arm, leaning over to drop a kiss on his boyfriend's dark gold head. "Happy Christmas," he says quietly.

Remus is pulled from his book by a very familiar voice and doesn't mind in the least. He smiles brightly up at his boyfriend, setting the book off to the side, because, honestly, it's not as important anymore. "Happy Christmas to you too. Did you have a nice morning?" He reached over to take Jack's hand in his.

Jack lays one arm casually along the back of Remus' chair, keeping his hand held in the other, and grins. "I've had a great morning, and it's just got better. How about you? Get any good presents from home?" he grins, focusing on the fun and excitement of presents much like an overexcited child.

"Mum sent a letter saying she wasn't going to get me any more books, but she gave in and did so anyway. So I got a few new books and a couple of records." Remus laughed. "She's still determined to find me a hobby besides reading all the time. She's glad to hear that I've actually made more friends this year though, so that's good." Of course he hasn't exactly told her that some of his new friends have actually more than just friends. He's not sure how she'd handle that exactly. "How about you? Anything interesting?"

Jack grins. "Tell her the camera was a fantastic idea, won't you? Friends, huh? I take it you haven't come out to them yet, then? Any good records?" he asks, fingers playing absently with Remus' hair. "I got a new coat, but that's only because they keep trying to get me to throw out my favourite one. They just don't understand that something that cool is timeless. And the usual, respectably Ravenclaw amount of books arrived, as well, of course."
