HI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*glomps* It didn't snow here like it was suppose to so I got to drive today! Means I didn't have to sit there for ages.

"Er, no, I didn't. I will...at some point." Remus shrugs, looking down at the floor in front of them. Without even realizing it, his head tilted slightly into Jack's hand; Remus did like it when Jack played with his hair after all. "Aw, they want you to get rid of your jacket? I like that one."

YAY!
Except now I'm sulking because I have to go to stupid lunch with stupid husband's stupid family. Ok, they're not stupid, I'm just sulking. *clings*

Jack nods, feeling the increased pressure of Remus' head against his hand and complying by increasing the pressure of his fingers a little. "It'll happen when you're good and ready, right? Thanks - I like that one too. I've had it since forever and I know it's getting a little worn, but I've had too many good memories, too many adventures in that thing to just let it go," he shrugs.

We're leaving once Andrew's had his breakfast, so I don't know if I'll get another post in. I hope so. LOVE YOU!

Ahhh *clings* Have fun...I'll miss you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Remus is quite content to just keep sitting there because the feeling of Jack's fingers on his head is perfect. "That makes sense to me. By this point you've had it so long that if you got rid of it then it'd be like getting rid of a part of yourself."

I don't want to leave so badly that I don't even care Andrew is making us late...

"Mmhmm," Jack nods. "Maybe it's strange to get so attached to things that are just... things, but in a way that coat defines me. I think I'd keep trying to repair it if it ever needed it, right until the day it disintegrates completely," he chuckles.

*clings* XD

Remus chuckles too. "I don't think it's all that strange..especially if it's something really important to you." He has something like that...it's a note. A note from Sirius in first year. He'd tried to keep it nice and neat but through all the packing and unpacking and such, it's gotten a bit wrinkled and faded, the edges starting to tear. The writing is very faded so it's hard to even make out what it said in the first place, but Remus knows what it says. It was something simple, yet it meant a lot to him and he's kept it since. Not as interesting as a coat, maybe, but still..same idea. Not that he would ever tell anyone, especially Sirius.

"What?" Remus blinks. "Oh, nothing. I was just remembering something I've kept for a long time...that means a lot to me, just like how you are with your coat." He shrugged.

"Ah," Jack says, understanding and not feeling the need to say more on the subject. He smiles. "I'm looking forward to lunch today. It'll be nice to spend some time with your house-mates. I want to meet them. Er, how do you want to do this, though? Because I can be... discreet, if that makes you more comfortable?" Jack doesn't want to be discreet. Jack wants to jump up on the table and loudly inform everyone that Remus Lupin is his adorkably sexy boyfriend. But somehow Jack thinks Remus might not be prepared to handle that.

At this point, Remus doesn't know whether he wants to be discreet about it or not. "I don't know...I mean, it's not that I don't want people to know, I just..can never just come right out and say it, myself. No jumping on the table." He adds, looking slightly amused. He can see that look in Jack's eyes - it's practically the same look Sirius gets when he has something he thinks is highly important to tell everyone...and Sirius has jumped on a table before to tell it. Especially whenever Remus was too busy reading a book to pay attention.

"It's like you can read my mind," Jack says with an impish grin. "Alright, alright, no tabletop announcements. What about an interpretive dance?" he tries, looking the very picture of 'innocent little boy'. "We'll just be ourselves then, be cool and casual and everything will be sweet," he promises, leaning over to give Remus a soft, sensual kiss.

ACK I just spent the past 20 minutes fighting with this fucking laptop *kicks it* Now I'm all pissed off because this is the second morning in a row the freaking thing has wasted all my time because it refused to work. <.< *glares at it*

Remus doesn't think interpretive dance would be very good either...though it might be amusing. He'd reply, but he thinks Jack's plan is a good one and he'd rather just lean into their kiss because he likes that even more.

Jack smirks against Remus' lips, loving the feeling of his boyfriend's kisses. Feeling Remus lean in, Jack deepens the kiss a little, letting it last so that he can savour the moment before pulling away. "Suppose we ought to think about going, soon? Wouldn't want to be late for lunch - Molly scares me," Jack confesses in a playful whisper, finger brushing along Remus' cheek gently.

"I suppose we should." Remus replies quietly, not entirely wanting to leave right at this moment but knows they should if they don't want a scary Molly on their hands.

Jack pulls Remus to his feet, pausing for a nice, long snog while they've got some privacy.

Snogging.

Still snogging.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand we're back. Jack pulls away, takes Remus' hand, and wanders in the general direction of Gryffindor tower, ready to spend a Christmas afternoon with good food, hopefully good company, and the best boyfriend.

Post  Parvati Patil February 1st 2011, 2:38 am

Parvati walked into the Library, it was pretty late at night because she needed to catch up on all of the school work she had missed when she was in the Hospital Wing and she just could not focus at all on things when other people were around her. She looked around and was a bit surprised to find the library completely empty. Usually there were at least a few people in here at night but not tonight. She walked to the back and started walking down an aisle to get some books. She slowly started humming to herself out of boredom and slowly her humming turned into quiet singing. "Come on girl." She sang quietly. "I've been waiting for somebody to pick up my stroll." She sang as she walked down the aisle. "Well don't waste time, give me the sign tell me how you wanna roll." She continued to sing, slowly singing louder and louder as she walked down the aisle. "I want somebody to speed it up for me then take it down slow. There's enough room for both." She sang, now singing at her normal singing voice and no longer quiet really at all. "Well, I can handle that. You just gotta show me where it's at are you ready to go. Are you ready to go?" She sang as she practically danced up and down the aisles.

Post  Albus Severus Potter February 1st 2011, 2:51 am

Al came into the library to work on his writing. He really wanted to be able to write his own music, but he always had trouble concentrating and motivating himself to sit down and actually work on a song. And he couldn't work in the dorm at night. Scorpius and Stan were sleeping, and to be honest, he didn't really want either of them to know what he was doing. Writing music was sort of his own thing that he did for himself. Not even Lils knew and he had a tendency of telling her everything. He walked over to an empty table, resting his hand on the back of the chair with every intention of sitting down and writing up until he thought he heard someone else in the library with him. He glanced over towards the opposite side of the library, where the voice seemed to be coming from. He glanced down at his chair, then back towards the shelves where the singing girl clearly was. He could ignore it and just work on his song like he intended to do, or...he could go see who it was, because they had an amazing voice and he didn't know who the other singers at Hogwarts were.

He pushed the chair back in and slowly made his way towards the source of the singing, smiling to himself as he recognized the song. It wasn't exactly his type of music, but everyone should know Madonna. At first he was fine with just listening, but as her voice got louder he couldn't help himself.

"If you want it, you already got it," he sang along as he walked along the bookshelf separating him from the mystery singer. "If you thought it, it better be what you want."

Parvati froze slightly as she heard someone else singing along with her. She hadn't noticed anybody come in. The boy did have an amazing voice though and there was a bookshelf separating them so they didn't know who she was. She just sort of acted on impulse, not thinking about how whoever this was would know that she enjoyed singing in the library for fun. "If you feel it, it must be real just say the word and I'ma give you what you want." She sang as she walked down the aisle with the mystery boy, the bookshelf keeping them from knowing who each other were. "Time is waiting." She sang, now singing in her full singing voice, not really hushed at all anymore. "We only got four minutes to save the world!"

"No hesitating," he sang, unable to keep the smile off his face as he got louder and continued walking along the aisle. "Grab a boy- grab a girl! Time is waiting. We only got 4 minutes to save the world. No hesitating. We only got four minutes, four minutes." He wasn't sure who he was singing with at the moment, but he knew that this was fun and he didn't want it to stop.

I love you too Dom <3

Parvati was not going to lie, she was having a lot of fun singing with this guy she didn't even know. He could be a random stranger for all she knew, or maybe it was someone she knew. Not knowing who it was made her want to keep singing with him even more, she was having fun and that was all that mattered. "Keep it up, keep it up, don't be afraid, Hey Madonna." She sang loudly as she leaned towards the shelf in between them so it was like she was singing more at or with him rather then just singing. "Uh, you gotta get 'em all, hot." "Tick tock, tick tock, tick tock."

Al realized the shelf was going to end soon, and then he would know who he had been singing with. Although the mystery sort of made it more exciting, his heart started racing as he got closer to finding out who the girl with the amazing voice was. "That's right, keep it up, keep it up. Don't be afraid. Hey, Madonna. You gotta get 'em all hot. Tick tock, tick, tock, tick tock," he sang with plenty of enthusiasm, stepping out from behind the bookshelf at the last 'tock' only to see that he had been singing with none other than his brother's girlfriend, Parvati Patil.

Parvati was also getting pretty eager to seeing who she had been singing with. She sang the last line also with a lot of enthusiasm and stepped out from behind the bookshelf to see who it was. Her jaw dropped slightly as she saw that it was Al, her boyfriends brother, that had been singing with her. "Al." She said quietly as she just sort of stared at him for a little while as she let it sink in that she just had a little musical number with him. "I didn't know you sang..." She said casually, still a bit in shock.

"Parv...I could say the same about you," he replied with a rather sheepish grin. "You're really good," he complimented, not sure of what to say. He had thought it would have ended up being some random girl that he had never met before. Parvati's voice was so sweet, and when she sang it changed everything about her.

Parvati would blush right now if she could, but luckily thanks to her skin tone she did not blush. "Well thank you." She said and smiled at him. "You are really good too." She said nodding and looked around awkwardly a bit. "I don't really know what to say now." She admitted with a grin. "Things like this don't usually happen to me when I sing."
