"Hey there, Moony. Not a lot, just stressed out, 'cause of girl problems and stuff, and running away from one Gideon Prewett. How do I always get myself into these things? Like seriously, am I just too sexy for my own good?! I wonder sometimes," he laughed, kind of ignoring the real problem, which has totally been pissing off Eowyn's inner Sirius forever but he refuses to admit it.

Remus snorts and looks out over the water, shaking his head. Figures Sirius would be stressed out about girl problems. "Running away from Gideon Prewett, huh?" Then he remembers - the last time he'd spoken to Molly before she left she mentioned something about her and Sirius kissing. Ick, there was that weird feeling in his stomach again. "What, did he decide he was going to kill you or something for kissing Molly?"

"That is what I hear his plan is. I haven't stayed in the same room as him long enough to find out. What really pisses me off is, I apparently snogged Molly and I don't even remember it. DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH THAT SUCKS MAN?! I. Snogged. Molly. Prewett. And I don't even remember what it was like. Fuck my life, dude," he said, facepalming and laughing.

Remus could tell Sirius what it's like snogging Molly Prewett. *blinks* Oh. Now he hopes Gideon doesn't hear about that little thing. "Well, that is quite a disappointment. I'm pretty sure it was a great experience for you at the time."

Sirius is so mad Remus didn't tell him about that, thanks, best friend. "Oh, I bet it was. Do you think if I play my cards right, it'll happen again... at the same time as snogging Alice again? Because I'm not going to lie, that is my new life goal."

Well, considering the only reason they kissed was because Molly was helping Remus figure out if he was really gay or not...yeah, there's no way Remus is telling Sirius about that. He'll tell him...later. "I have no idea, Sirius." he doesn't know what else to say and he really doesn't want to think about it either. Why it's annoying him so much he has no idea.

"Well that's not very helpful!" he laughs, before lapsing into silence again, 'cause you know, stuff's still bothering him. But because he's not like Remus, he can't just stay shut up and bottle it all up, so he'll talk to his BFF. "Remus? Have you... have you seen much of James lately?" BECAUSE INNER SIRIUS WANTS TO CRY OVER THE LACK OF JAMES IN HIS LIFE. YOU HEAR THAT, JAMES POTTER?

"No actually...I haven't." he shook his head, looking down at his shoes. He wasn't as close to James as Sirius was so he didn't see him as often anyway, but it was sort of strange to not see him at all for long periods of time.

"Oh. Okay. I miss him," he said, looking rather sulkily down at his shoes, which he notices are rather nicely polished, and he makes a mental note to compliment Peter on his shoe polishing skills. Sirius sighs and promptly hugs Remus close, because dammit, he fucking likes hugs, and there's nobody around anyway, so he keeps pulls him close and squeezes him tightly, 'cause he's been super sad in my head. Awweh.

Remus doesn't know what to say - he hates that, not always knowing what to say - so he just hugs Sirius back. It didn't matter how much Remus wasn't a total fan of hugs, when it came to Sirius Remus didn't mind at all. He wouldn't admit it out loud, but he really loved Sirius' hugs.

"Thanks, Remus," he said quietly, finally letting go but still leaning on his shoulder comfortably, loving the fact that he can feel so much better just by being around some of his closest friends, without even needing to talk, because while sometimes he's like Molly Prewett, other times, he just doesn't need to say a word, and this is one of those times. "I just miss hanging out together, like we all used to, you know?"

"I know. I miss that too." Sirius, James, and Peter were Remus' first friends, basically. To Remus, hanging out with all of them together meant a lot. Things might be quite different for him right now if he hadn't met Sirius, James, and Peter that day they asked him to sit with them on the train. He loved his friends and not seeing them as often as he used to was sort of upsetting.

"Hey, we've still got each other. And Peter. He's still around, I've been spending time with him, it's pretty chill. He still makes kickass sammiches, y'know. Anyway, enough with the sulking. What's been going on with you, buddy?" he asked, ruffling Remus' hair and grinning.

"Peter always did make good sandwiches..." he shakes the hair out of his eyes after Sirius is done ruffling it. "Nothing much has been going on with me. Boring Remus as always." he shrugs. "Never any plans or anything- well, actually I'm going to take Viktor to see the hippogriffs some time. I told him he'd be safe cause they're not that bad as long as you know how to handle them." he chuckles, smiling warmly and remembering that fun conversation he had with Viktor up in the Astronomy tower.

"Oh, yeah, that's pretty cool, Viktor's chill," he said, shrugging. "We should do something together sometime, y'know? Instead of just running into each other! We can, I dunno, prank Snape! Though, that's just weird, without Prongs... Maybe something else. Like girl watching!"

"Viktor's pretty awesome." he smiled. "We can do something that doesn't involve pranking..." Remus blinks - obviously he wouldn't approve of pranking others that much, and, yeah, it'd feel weird doing that stuff without James. "or girl watching. Cause, honestly, I'm not really interested. Which I know is just crazy, or whatever, but that's how I am." And cause, you know, I like guys. he sighs, wishing he could just tell Sirius but knows that would be just a really stupid thing to do. So he won't.

"But Mooooooooonyyyyyyyyyy," Sirius pouts, giving him those puppy dog eyes. "That's no fun! What do you want to do then? NO I WILL NOT BE GOING TO ANY LIBRARY OR BOOK STORE OR ANYWHERE INVOLVING BOOKS! NO! Wait, we could still go to Hogsmeade and hang out, though! With Peter! And James... if we can find him. Wouldn't that be fun? We could go to Zonkos, or Honeydukes, or both, and the Three Broomsticks!"

Remus looks away, knowing he can't resist the puppy dog eyes. "I don't know what I want to do. And no, I wasn't going to suggest a library or book store - I'm not that stupid. I know you'd run away faster than I could blink. Going to Hogsmeade would be fun."

"Yeah, it would! How about this weekend, then, it'll be fun! The three of us could have so much fun together even if there isn't a Prongs, yeah? It'll be sort of like old times, and we can do some stupid stuff and have fun and be happy and cool, yeah? YEAH!" he said excitedly, liking the idea very much.

"You always say that, and we always do something even more stupid than intended, every single time. When will you learn that saying that totally jinxes it?!" he laughed, letting himself fall onto his back to look up at the stars overhead, and brushing his hair out of his own eyes as he did so. "It's a gorgeous night," he remarked, smiling at the crescent moon above.

"I have to keep saying it." he replied, looking back out over the water. "That way I can keep hoping that for once it'll actually happen." he looks down at Sirius, watching as Sirius brushes the hair out of his eyes, then realizes he's staring and looks back out over the water. "Yeah, it's a lovely night." he's still sitting up cause he doesn't know whether he wants to lay back to look up at the stars or not.

Sirius doesn't really notice Remus staring, because he's just used to people looking at him, being the center of attention, and all. "I like looking at the stars. Hey look, it's me!" he laughed, pointing at the dog star overhead, shining brighter than the rest like always.

"I like looking at them too - as long as it isn't for Astronomy class." Not that he hated the class. He just preferred staring at the stars for leisure purposes. He looked up in the direction Sirius was pointing and smiled, seeing the brightly shining star. He decided he was going to lay back too and did so, finding it was more comfortable then craning his neck back to look up. He lay there silently, thinking to himself because Remus thinks a lot.
