Re: Dock by the Lake
Viktor blinks. "Wow. That vos...something. How long have you been dancing like that?" he asked, his eyes occasionally flickering downward to look at Cormac's feet.

Cormac crossed his legs.. dramatically lifting his left leg while crossing, "For a while now." He groaned. "My feet are sore. Want to massage them?"

Viktor. Blinks. Again. "Erm...I could," he muttered, wondering if this was such a good idea. "But maybe you should go see Madam Pomfrey instead. She's probably got something that might make them feel better," he says quickly, because he's not so sure if massaging Cormac's feet is such a good idea.

"Alright." Cormac sat back and looked at the sky. "I'm bored."

Viktor chuckled. "Are you? Vell, there's lots to do around here, though I haven't actually been outside of the castle for a few days other than to fly around at the pitch."

Cormac sat back up. "Quidditch?! You play?"

Viktor nodded. "Mhm. I play for the Bulgarian International Team, actually. Do you play as vell?"

"Really? Good for you, then. I'm not much of a keeper. At all, really. I'm a seeker," he said with a happy smile because he loves seeking, even if he's not allowed on the Gryffindor team.

Cormac smirked. "I'm too good for the school team, it's why I didn't join. You know, I've never heard of you before. Guess you're not that big of a pro."

Re: Dock by the Lake
Viktor's smile fades because not only is Cormac rather rude, he's cocky as well. All Quidditch lovers have heard of Viktor Krum. "Oh, really? That's rather refreshing, actually. It's sort of tiring having to sign autographs all day," he said with a light laugh as he stood up to leave. "Anyvay, I should probably go. Nice meeting you, Cormac." And then he left because Sam has to go now.

Rose sat on the edge of the dock, thinking about when her life went loony.

Ted walked down to the dock and saw Rose sitting there looking sad. He hated his friends being sad so he went and sat down next to her, "Hey Rose, you okay?"

Rose turned around and smiled half-heartedly at Ted. "Hi Ted. Erm, yeah, I'm alright. I just got dumped, that's all."

Ted put an arm around her shoulders, "I'm sorry Rose, that's awful. Who's the idiot?" With his free hand he was feeling around in his bag and pulled out a chocolate bar. "Would this help?"

"Scorpius Malfoy," Rose grumbled. "That teaches me never to date a Slytherin again-- yeah, that would help, thanks!" she said, taking the chocolate and unwrapping it.

"Well he's a moron then Rose because you're smart, funny and pretty. Guys should be lining up to date you." He pulled out a sugar quill and started to munch on it because Ted and I both always carry around candy at school.

OMG SO DO I. AND JUICE BOXES. MY TEACHERS THINK I PULL JUICY JUICE AND TUMMY TICKLERS OUT OF MY PANTS OR SOMETHING.
Rose sighed. "Well, they aren't. They're running away from me. Enough about that though. I don't really want to talk about it," she said, guessing that if she did discuss it with Ted, she would accidentally reveal Al and Scorp's secret. "How've you been?"

OMG SISTER. I LOVE JUICE BOXES!
"I've been good, studying and playing football mostly. I've actually met a surprising number of new students this year." Ted didn't like seeing Rose sad.

JUICE BOXES ARE BEAUTIFUL CREATIONS.
IT'S THE FIRST THING I GRAB ON WALMART RUNS.
"Football? Like, the muggle sport? How does that work, exactly?" she asked curiously. "I haven't really met any new people yet. I guess I've been holed up the library too much to socialize."

Scorpius feels eternally grateful to Rose. He knows that she's not keeping the secret for him...but it still means a lot to him.
I JUST THOUGHT I WOULD SAY THAT.
Yeah.
Anyway.
James is watching the two of you carefully.

I would expect nothing less from him
AND OMG ME TOO DEE
I LOVE THEM SO MUCH
MY FRIDGE AT SCHOOL IS FULL OF THEM
"Yeah the muggle sport. Well there's only one ball and you kick it around with your feet. The object is to get it in the other teams goal but it's harder than it sounds because each side has 11 players. I'm slowly introducing it here." He shrugged, "What have you been studying?"

Re: Dock by the Lake
Lily strolls towards the lake with her hand comfortably in Gideon's, sort of following his direction for clues on where they're going and ending up on the dock. "I knew it - fly fishing. Well, or we could go for the Squid after all and have calamari for dinner... for the next year and a half," she comments, because the Giant Squid would make a LOT of calamari.

Re: Dock by the Lake
Gideon grins. "I like calamari, but not THAT much. No, luckily for you I actually hate fishing, so I will spare you from that experience. It's boring as hell, in my opinion. No," he adds, dropping her hand and pulling his wand out, "this is what we're doing." With a few muttered phrases, and some complicated wand-waving, a small boat floated up to the surface. It was small, but dry, and even had oars. "Need a hand getting into the boat?" He said, reaching over and pulling a rug from the basket and putting it in the bottom of the boat, loading the basket in too.
