Fleur couldn't help chuckling at his response as she placed her hand back on her lap and looked up towards the sky. "You look a leetle confused. Eet seems zat you 'ave not figured out what my secret ees and so I will tell you," Fleur said calmly, looking back over at him. "I am part-Veela. I assume zat eet ees one of ze reasons you wanted to come 'ere and talk een ze first place. Now zat you know, you don't 'ave to stay. I understand eef you want to leave and go back to...everyone else over across ze lake."

[Bill Weasley - Inactive]

'Ah,' Bill thought to himself. 'That makes sense.' He chuckled along with her. "I knew there was something about you and it wasn't just your winning personality." Bill winked at Fleur and then started twiddling with his earring again. He often did this whilst thinking. It helped him concentrate a bit more. "But, alas, I won't leave you." He sighed and looked out in to the lake. "That is unless you want me to leave. But, honestly, I wouldn't go over to the other side of the lake. I'm not really a party person."

Fleur flushed once more and began to twirl a strand of her blonde hair around her finger, sneaking a peek at him curiously. He wasn't like some of the other boys she'd met, besides Scorpius who was gay and wouldn't be attracted to her anyway. He was genuine after all and his wink made her giggle. "Zank you, I theenk," she replied as she turned away and looked towards the other end of the lake. "You don't 'ave to leave. I don't mind your company at all," she said quickly as her head turned to look at him. "I enjoy eet actually. I'm not a party person eizzer. I like to, well, 'ang out with a few good people. Sometimes being on my own ees fine too."

Bill nodded in agreement. "Being alone is good sometimes." He stared out at the lake again. He didn't say anything. It was a nice quiet for him with good company.

[Fleur Delacour - Inactive]

Fleur didn't know what else to say when Bill fell silent. She, instead, figured she should do something spontaneous. She glanced at Bill and then set her hands on the dock, bracing herself as she pushed off and jumped into the water.

Bill laughed as he got splashed a bit from the water. He took off his shirt and jumped in as well. The water was fairly nice and it was great to have a swim. Bill swam over to Fleur and smiled, "Well that was rather thrilling, wasn't it?"

"When zere ees notheeng to talk about, you 'ave to do sometheeng fun, n'est-ce pas?" she said with a smirk. She found it odd that she wasn't uncomfortable floating in the water in soaking went clothes with an attractive boy who was half-naked. Oh, well. Things happen. "Now eet's your turn to surprise me!"

Bill laughed. "I didn't know that this was a two-sided surprise." He smirked and swam closer to the half-Veela. "Mais, si vous insiste." Bill drew Fleur in closer, leaned in and kissed her.

Well, that was definitely a surprise. Fleur had thought he might pick her up or pull her under the surface; something playful, but not...intimate. She was stunned since she'd never been kissed by a person she'd met only moments before. However, this felt somewhat natural and she closed her eyes and kissed him back. It was weird how her heart thudded slowly as she pulled away. Her face flushed a bright pink and she half-smiled. "Zat was a pleasant surprise."

Bill pulled out of the kiss and swam back a bit, away from Fleur. 'I can't believe I just did that.' he thought to himself. Wait, did she kiss me back? Bill looked up to Fleur and smiled. "Pleasant? Yeh.." Bill suddenly realized that could be taken as rude and quickly attempted to cover. "I mean - of course - pleasant - you were great - I mean - not that you wouldn't be - I just mean that -" Bill was blushing. He was red in the face, which made his freckles stand out more. He sighed frustrated. "I'm sorry."

Fleur backed away slowly, wading in the water. She didn't know what to make of what happened except that she enjoyed the spontaneity of it all. She raised her eyebrows at his response in confusion. It wasn't until he started rambling that she felt at ease and started to laugh. "Eet's alright. You were great too. I enjoyed eet very much. 'Owever, next time, maybe we should get learn about each uzzer first. Oui?"

Bill looked down to his feet that were paddling in the water. He was too embarrassed to look back at Fleur. "Yes, definately, get to know each other, for sure."

Fleur stopped laughing abruptly when she noticed him looking down at the water. She bit her lip nervously before swimming a little closer to him. "Ees sometheeng wrong?"

Bill turned even more red in the face. "I'm just a bit embarrassed." he admitted. "I don't usually kiss every new girl I meet." He chuckled a bit.

[Fleur Delacour - Inactive]

"I don't normally kiss every new boy I meet eizzer. Well, zey tend to all be charmed anyway. I'm supposed to wait until zey prove zemselves to me," she said with a sigh as she began to float on her back for a few moments. "But you shouldn't be embarrassed. I kissed you too."

Bill laughed again and looked back at Fleur. "Well, have I impressed you with my magnificent 6-pack?" Bill winked and swam back over to Fleur. "You know, I could do with some more amusement." Bill leaned over pretending to go in for a kiss again. At the last second, he tackled her under the water along with him. Water flushed all around him and he could feel the bubbles surrounding his body as he plunged under the warm water. He stayed under the water for as long and let the air burn in his lungs.

Fleur chuckled and shook her head. "Maybe?" she said, wondering why he would want to know her feelings on appearances. Ah, well. Maybe it was British humor. She squealed when he tugged her underwater unexpectedly. He appeared to be more spontaneous than she had given him credit for. She didn't struggle as they plunged into the water, but instead opened her eyes to look around them. You weren't supposed to open your eyes underwater, but Fleur didn't mind. She had a strange phobia of water creatures after the tournament and felt the need to always make sure nothing was down there hunting her.

Bill finally emerged from under the water. His loose hair elastic had fallen off somewhere in the water and his long ginger hair was flowing behind him. He looked down at the beautiful blonde in the water below him and smiled.

[Fleur Delacour - Inactive]

Fleur drifted back up to the surface and brushed her soaked hair from her face. "Zank you for zat. I truly appreciate it," she said sarcastically, playfully shoving him. Though it didn't move him much since she was dainty and petite, whereas he was strong. "I theenk I might get out of ze water now zoh. I need to protect myself from sneak attacks."

"Sneak attacks like this?" He pushed his hands through the water and splashed Fleur. As soon as he did that, he ducked back under the water and swam away from her grasp. He outstretched his arms to fly a few feet and then popped out. He surfaced at least ten feet away from Fleur.

Fleur cringed when the splash of water hit her face and she pouted instantly. "You're going to pay for zat!" she yelped, watching as he swam away. She didn't know how she was going to catch him, so she simply climbed on top of the dock. "Eef you theenk I'm going to chase you, Bill Weasley," she said with a smirk, "You're wrong. You'll be ze one doing ze chasing." She stood up and tied her hair into a ponytail before she grabbed her shoes and his shirt and ran off towards the castle.

Bill laughed and swam to the dock quickly. Hopped out of the lake as quickly as he could and started running after the girl. "Fleur! C'mon give me my shirt back!"

Fleur turned around and started to walk backwards, but still at a fast pace. "I don't 'ear begging, so I'm going to say no!" she yelled as she turned and sprinted off towards the castle.

Bill was chasing Fleur and laughing. He tripped a couple times and started begging. "Please, please, please!!!"

Lily is taking a walk. She's so exciting. Well, it's not too cold out for her today and she likes the dock; this is where she first met Gideon, she remembers fondly as she ambles along the thick wooden planks.
