Luna smiles and nods her head. "I know that. I always feel comfortable with tell you about things." She glances towards the forest, wondering what type of creatures hang out in there, because she's never really gone in before. And if she ever wants to find a unicorn, that would be the place to look, right? "Hermione? Have you ever been in the forest before?"

Hermione falters mid-step at Luna's question, glancing guiltily at the out of bounds area that they're currently skirting around. "Erm, once or twice," she admits quietly. "Why do you ask? Have you ever been in there yourself?" she wonders, worried for half a second to think of Luna wandering in there alone, because Hermione knows Luna is somewhat fearless and would likely do just that.

Luna just blinks, looks at the forest, then back to Hermione. "No, but...It's just...About the unicorn thing. It's not like they wander around out here, so I guess the only way I could ever find one...is...If I were to go in there," she says casually, as if she'd talking about exploring a classroom or hallway, and not an out of bounds portion of the grounds. "That's all. Just curious, I suppose."

Hermione's eyes widen, because Little Miss Prefect is going to need just a bit of convincing on this one. "Luna, you know it's not entirely safe in there, right?" she says, not meaning to sound as patronising as she might, because really she's only concerned. "Promise me you won't go wandering off in there all by yourself? Even though there are unicorns in the forest," she says, even though she only knows that because Voldemort once nommed on a dead one in there. She doesn't share that little bit of information with Luna though, because that would just upset her girlfriend.

Luna would probably freak out, and then go off and destroy Voldemort herself because Harry sure is taking his time with the job. "I know. I'd never go in there alone. Probably not ever, actually," she says with a soft sigh. "Dean and I used to talk about going in together, but I highly doubt that's ever going to happen now."

Hermione takes advantage of the cover of night, and the fact that nobody is around, and draws Luna close in a quick hug. "You really want to see a unicorn, don't you?" she asks gently. She looks nervously back and forth between Luna and the thick of the trees and chews her lip. It's clear that she's gathering her courage to say something, but she keeps losing her nerve at the last second. "Well... nevermind," she mumbles, looking away.

Luna smiles at the hug, but frowns slightly because Hermione obviously isn't telling her something. She gently reaches up to turn Hermione's face back to face her. "Hey, remember when you just said that I can tell you anything? Well, the same goes for you as well. What were you going to say?" she asks softly, but not in a demanding way because Hermione shouldn't have to say anything that she doesn't want to.

I was going to say that maybe we could search for unicorns together, but I don't know if that's the best idea. What if something goes wrong?" she frets, because if they ran into the wrong creature in the Forbidden Forest they could be killed. Or worse, expelled.

Luna blinks her big, silvery eyes, glancing back and forth between the forest and Hermione. "Oh. Well, a lot could go wrong just by walking through the schools, or by going to class, or by mixing up a potion, or by experimenting with magic," she says, the last example coming out quietly as it brings back a strong memory. "Sometimes risks are good. Otherwise we wouldn't get much done, would we?" She smiles, giving Hermione's hand a comforting squeeze. "And you're the cleverest witch of your age, aren't you? We'll be fine."

Hermione is about to protest, to remind Luna that there are Professors stationed in the classrooms and throughout the school to make sure that if any harm comes to a student, they'll be taken care of at once. But something in Luna's voice stops her speaking, and she softens as she realises what memories Luna must be recalling most strongly right now. "I suppose you're right," she says, her voice soft and tentative.

Luna greams because she's pretty sure that Hermione's answer means that they're going on a unicorn adventure! "So...Would you like to? We don't have to, of course. But...I want to if you want to," she says, her eyes screaming that she wants to run into that forest and find a unicorn RIGHT NOW.

"Alright," Hermione says, still chewing her lip because she is rather nervous about this whole thing. "Just promise to stay with me. And only for an hour. We don't want to go too deep," Hermione cautions, while Mya smirks. She squeezes Luna's hand and takes a few tentative steps towards the treeline, and I guess Luna can post us in the next thread if she likes?

Jack is taking a stroll along the edge of the Forest, whistling happily to himself, hands jammed in the pockets of his greatcoat as he saunters along, unbothered by the chilly air due to said greatcoat. It's pretty great.

While Amethyst waits for her second browser to open up so she can log on as Kingsley as well, she shall reply to Jack. OMG Inner!Remus simmer down back there. Geez. That boy is just so excited.

Remus is going on a walk outside, which has become quite a habit now whenever he needs to think a lot, when he spots Jack up ahead. His day has just brightened quite considerably. Yep yep. He can't help sneaking up behind him and poking Jack in the back. "Aaaaand...BOO!" he laughs. "Did I scare you?"

RIGHT ON!!! The Queens of Adorableland are back together again!! *huggles*

Jack is so busy whistling away and being happy that he misses the soft crunch of footsteps approaching from behind. He jumps slightly and whips about when he's poked in the back in a way he's not accustomed to (*snickers*). His shock dissipates at once, replaced with a broad, charming grin. "Well hello handsome. I was a little startled, you might have to make it up to me," he winks.

Remus grins happily, unable to keep from blushing a tiny bit. "Sorry for startling you," he wrapped his arms around Jack and pulled him close, tilting his face up to kiss Jack softly. The move made him redden even more because he wasn't used to doing this sort of thing and he didn't want to screw anything up and look dumb. He worried too much. "does that make up for it?" His voice was quiet as he kept his face close to his boyfriend's, looking him in the eyes. Eye contact was not easy for Remus, but he was working on it.

Jack smiles into the kiss, his hands coming to rest on Remus' hips. Having no trouble with eye contact himself, Jack holds Remus' gaze as the smile continues to play around his mouth. "It's a good start. Let's work on it some more," he murmurs, letting his eyes close to savour the taste of his boyfriend's lips as he claims them with his own again. After a few long seconds, he pulls away with a little smirk. "We might have to do that pretty often, you know. How are you?" he asks, one hand moving from Remus' hip to grasp his hand.

Remus lets his own eyes close as they kiss again for a few long seconds. He grins at Jack afterward and laces his fingers with Jack's. "I don't think I'd say no to that. I'm doing well. I've missed you a lot. It's been like ages, but the other day, finally, all of my roommates and I finally got to hang out together. It's been such a while since we've gotten to do that. I've missed that. Oh, and I told James about being gay. He took it okay." he shrugged. "Still have to tell Peter though...and...I told Sirius about us. That's okay, right?" he looked down at the collar of Jack's jacket, absentmindedly smoothing it out with a nervous hand. Remus didn't really know much about how the whole dating thing went - did they have to agree on whether they wanted to tell other people or not? What if Jack didn't want people to know that they were dating? Remus is lost in worryland, because that's how he is.

Jack chuckles and lets Remus fuss with his collar, because Remus is literally the most adorable thing he's ever seen and Inner!Jack is now telling Inner!Molly he understands why she loves to Mama Bear him so much. "Do I want people to know? With a boyfriend like you, I'd shout it from the top of the Astronomy Tower if you let me. It's all new to you, though, so you're in charge with this stuff, ok? We can tell people, or not tell people, whatever makes you happy," he assures him easily. "I'm glad your friend took it well, I guess coming out is harder on some friendships than others. I actually met your Sirius," he confesses, squeezing Remus' hand and hoping he's done the right thing by not mentioning it until now. "It was in the Hospital Wing, before our date - I didn't want it to complicate things then so I didn't tell you, but I guess you should know. It was while you were sleeping," he explains.

Inner!Remus has gone permanetly quaffley. And now he doesn't want to admit that he's now only messing with Jack's collar because there was a wrinkle and it was driving him insane. He doesn't want Jack to think he's a nutter... yeah, he's strange. "Oh...well, I mean...it'll be fine to tell people. I'm just...okay, maybe not yet as much, but once I'm more comfortable then, yeah, I wouldn't mind telling people. I'm not saying that I don't want people to know ever, of course, you understand? Cause I don't want to give you the impression that I'm not happy with this, quite the contrary, I'm quite happy to be with you, I'm just not...ready yet for everyone to know." he blushed, embarrassed for having rambled so much. He panics slightly when he hears that Jack and Sirius had already met. "Wait...you already met? Oh...well, how did it go..wait, you were in the hospital wing?" Oh great, what excuse did Sirius give Jack to explain why Remus was in there? It would not be easy to work things right if he gave Jack a different story than Sirius'.

Jack just gives Remus his most charming, reassuring grin and brushes a stray lock of hair from his forehead. "Whatever you want," he says lightly, then shrugs. "Viktor said you were there so I went to visit. You were out cold sleeping, but Sirius told me all about how you took a tumble near here somewhere. He also told me all about the painful things some big black dog he knows will do to me if I ever hurt you," Jack says, chuckling because he doesn't want Remus to worry.
