"Oh...well, I'd watch out for that big black dog if I were you. His bite is painful." Remus is pretty sure at least one of the scars he has is from a Padfoot bite. Of course that'd be from a full moon, so Remus wouldn't actually remember getting bitten, but the feeling of it afterward was pretty painful so he figures the bite must have been as well. Yeah. "And yeah...I'm quite clumsy, fall a lot."

Jack raises an eyebrow, not liking the sound of this dog who apparently has bitten his boyfriend. Then he grins broadly and wraps his arms about Remus, pulling the slightly smaller man up tight against his chest. "Maybe I'd better stick nice and close then, so I can catch you," he says with a wink, not caring how cheesy it sounds even though Mya kinda cringed a bit and my Inner!Gingers exchanged an 'ohmyGod is he serious!?' look. Jack, however, is pretty sure he won though, because here he is with Remus pulled up nice and close against him.

Oh my god, the cheesiness, but Remus is blushing and appreciates the thought, plus he's nice and close to his boyfriend so there's no complaints there. Ignoring the fact that he can practically hear his heart beating in his chest, Remus smiles and laughs lightly. "I'd love that. Plus it'd save me from going to the hospital wing as much, which isn't very fun, I'll have you know." Yeah...he'd still be going there a lot anyway. He wondered how long it would be till Jack started getting suspicious about it. Not to mention, Remus wondered, what Jack would say if he ever saw Remus shirtless and saw some of the bigger scars that lined his body.

Jack would be worried, and naturally curious. But he'd think Remus is beautiful even if he was covered in festering boils or something equally gross so a handful of scars aren't going to be enough to turn him off. "It's just no fun because you've never had someone to play Naughty Nurse with when you start recovering," he smirks, and kisses Remus lightly on the lips. Mya is now picturing Jack in a slutty nurse outfit. Oh. My. God. Mya is now dead.

Remus blinks and would reply...but he waits till after Jack kisses him. Then he blinks again. "Wait, what?"
Innocent!Remus actually understands what that means, and he is also awkward!Remus so, yeah, awkward. Quaffleness abounds.

Jack winks, trying not to chuckle too much at Remus' quaffletastic colouring. "Outfits not your thing, then, gorgeous? That's fine, I don't have to wear anything if you don't want me to."
Mya apologises for Jack, and will not be letting him speak for himself from now on without her censoring his remarks. Uh huh.

Stuck in quaffleyzone again, Remus blinks and then laughs, resting his forehead against the taller man's chest. "I think I'll just pass on that whole thing..." he mumbles, feeling quite awkward. "Not that I'm saying I don't want to see you shirtless or anything, I'm sure you'll look just fine, I'm just not as interested in the whole- you know, I'm just going to shut up now." Awkward!Remus is going to go hide in a cupboard under the stairs now and hope his face will stop burning.

Jack won't let Remus go hide in the cupboard under the stairs, that space is reserved for scrawny, specky gits. He kisses the top of Remus' head lightly. "Remus, look at me," he says quietly, moving Remus back from him a little to get enough space between them to reach his chin, tilting her head up once more. "I know I flirt like mad and I kid around a lot and yeah, if I had half a chance I'd have you in bed before you even knew what happened. But I don't want to make you uncomfortable, and I don't want you to do anything you don't want to, ok? So don't shut up when it comes to this stuff, because I need to know where the line is."

Inner!Remus wants to squeal and is flailing like mad because he thinks he has one of the best boyfriends ever.
Remus is still quaffley and there's no way he can make eye contact at the moment, but he does his best to look up at Jack. "I'm sorry...I'm just really awkward and don't know how to respond to those sort of things, cause, you know, I've never really had to deal with it all before and I don't want you to think that I'm ridiculous or anything...well, I am kind of ridiculous, but, anyway, I'm not trying to say that I don't want to do anything with you, I'm just saying I've never done anything really before so I'm quite inexperienced and not sure how to handle it, or just talking about those sort of things, and I think I'm going to stop rambling now." He didn't even remember half of what he'd just said. It was all quite embarrassing and he didn't know what to do now, so he just reached up and pulled Jack close to kiss him. Of course it would only pause their conversation for a few seconds, but it was worth a try.

Jack opens his mouth to respond to Remus, but is cut off by Remus pulling him in for a kiss. Well, Jack's not going to complain, he's just going to thoroughly snog Remus for a minute... or two... Ok, coming up for air in three, two.... oh, just a little longer...

Jack pulls away when he's good and ready, thanks, and smiles at Remus. It's a more sincere smile than his usual cocky grin, softer around the edges somehow. "You are gorgeous, you know that?" he says simply. "Don't apologise for how you feel. Ever. We'll just... take it nice and slow, and take things as they come. Tell you what, how about we be a little traditional about this - another date sometime? I seem to recall you offering me poetry, maybe you could read me some of your favourites sometime?"

Remus is more than happy to let things continue like this for a while...oops, now they need air. What a shame. Silly air. He nods, grinning at Jacks suggestion, still feeling a bit breathless. "I would love that." Wolfy tail is wagging. Yay! Though Remus is hoping he's not being totally boring. Amethyst is thinking that the next Rack scene should involve the picture taking adorableness. Yep yep.

Mya likes the way Amethyst thinks. Yes, she does. She also can't stop giggling at the mental picture of Wolfy with his tail wagging. Socute. "Excellent." Jack kisses Remus lightly again, before withdrawing so that they're side by side now, hand in hand. Jack continues to stroll along the Forest edge, looking into the thick jumble of bark and greenery. "You know, I've never had the slightest desire to go in there. I like walking along the edges, because it looks beautiful in a dangerous way, but I've never felt the need to explore it. Have you spent time in there?" he asks, curious, because most people tend to be fascinated by the Forbidden Forest. Jack just thinks whoever named it was an idiot, because the one way to make people want to do something is to tell them they're not allowed.

"Like, actually far in there? Not really. Though me and my roommates have been in there a few times." He knows he's been in there a lot during full moons cause Sirius would tell him about it the next day, but as a human he definitely hasn't been in there very often. "There are a lot of dangerous creatures in there.." They continue walking and Remus gets lost in thought for a moment. He'd never really walked with someone holding hands before and it was kind of a strange feeling. Not a bad feeling, but a good feeling - like being protected. It kind of felt like when you know if you fall or something someone has your back to help. He couldn't really explain it but that's sort of what it felt like. Other than that he just knew that he liked holding Jack's hand. It was comforting.

Jack loves holding Remus' hand. Although his mind generally turns towards other places those hands could go before long. Ah, Jack, you're hopeless. "I've heard stories of all sorts of nasty things in there. Could never quite figure out why people would want to go poking around amongst things that would want to eat them. As for myself, I'm staying well clear because I'm far too pretty to be Acromantula food," he smirks.

Haha, oh Jack. Silly boy. "Hm, nah, they'd just spit you back out." Remus jokes, chuckling and squeezing Jack's hand lightly. "I'm just kidding. I wouldn't want you to be eaten by those freaky spiders. I'd gladly scare them off for you." He could totally do it too...and almost every other scary creature in that forest. Not that that was a bad thing of course. Kind of came in handy. The only drawback was that he could only really do that when he was a werewolf.

Chuckling a little, Jack squeezes Remus' hand right back. "You going to be my protector? Lucky me," he grins, not pausing to wonder how Remus thinks he's going to scare off a horde of angry spiders. Lame post is lame, but Jack is happy just to wander along with Remus, flirting and holding hands and occasionally snogging.

Remus is quite happy to just wander along with Jack as well. Luckily he manages not to trip over anything. He generally had good reflexes, thanks to Wolfy, but that didn't save him from stumbling over things once it started getting dark outside, and it was starting to get dark out since it was getting late.
