Albus' jaw dropped. "OH MY GOD WHY ARE YOU TELLING ME THIS STUFF!? HE IS MY BEST FRIEND AND YOU ARE MY COUSIN! I DON'T WANT TO IMAGINE YOU NAKED WITH HIM OH MY GOD EW!" He covers his ears and acts obnoxious. "LA LA LA I'M NOT LISTENING!"

"THANKS FOR BEING SUPPORTIVE, AL," Rose yelled over his la la-ing. "I WAS TRAUMATIZED. I STILL AM. I washed my mouth out with soap afterwards. SIX TIMES. My upper thigh will never be clean again!"

"Your upper thigh!? What did he do to your upper thigh!? WAIT! Do not answer that, for the love of Merlin's most baggy Y-fronts!" He takes a deep breath and calms down a bit. "Okay. I'm good now. So, he just kissed you like that? For no reason whatsoever?"

"Well, how should I know? I can't read his mind! We were arguing, then talking, then bam! He started snogging me against the shower wall." She shrugged and handed Al his complete color coded flashing schedule. "I think I'll just avoid him for the rest of my life."

Albus looked down at his schedule, and tried to hide how impressed he was but failed. "Oh. Yeah, avoiding him sounds good," he says absentmindedly as he puts away his schedule. "You two sure are complicated. Seriously, you don't see me snogging people I hate in the showers. But yeah, I'd stick with the avoiding him bit. That sounds like a plan."

Rose rolled her eyes. "Al, I don't see you snogging people anywhere, let alone in the showers. In fact, no one does. But whatever, you'll find someone who likes your ugly face eventually. But, yeah, I think I'll just, I don't know, stay in my dorm for the rest of the year. Do you think I could turn in assignments from there?"

"Oh, look at you. You're just so funny," he sais sarcastically as he rolled his eyes. "And that sounds like a plan. Just send out all your assignments by owl. I'll be sure to send the house elves up to feed you every morning and every night. How does that sound?"

Seamus charges towards the apple trees, picking up speed so that he ran up a good length of the tree and caught the lowest branch. He turned upside down, dangling from the limb and waving around.

Lavender is walking around, daydreaming about Louis, when she is hit in the head with a stray apple. "What the-" She looks around and spots Seamus and freezes. After a moment, she smiles. "Hey stranger!"

Seamus, hearing Lavender's voice, accidently lets go of the branch and hits the ground with a dull thud. "OOF!" He sat up, rubbing his head, and couldn't help but shout, "LAVENDER!" and jumped up to give her a hug. "Ah, uhm," he stepped back quickly, then ran his hand through his hair, "Yeah, long time no see, eh?"

She walked towards him "Are you okay?" She is quickly grabbed up in a hug. "Oh!" She hugs him back, patting him a little. "Yeah, long time. Where have you been?" She took a step back and looked at him. How could she have forgotten how cute he was? She bit her lip and looked down. There's nothing wrong with this, me and Louis aren't dating...yet.

"I've been in Ireland. Ya know, family stuff," he frowned and shrugged, not wanting to bother her with his problems. "But, uh, anyway! Anything new with you?" Seamus doesn't notice Lav looking away, and replaces his frown with a smile.

She played with her hair, a sign of anxiety. "Well, I hope everything is okay. Um..nothing new with me. Just been..hanging out." She smiled, and intended not to mention everything that's been going on with Louis. She walked over and sat underneath a tree, patting the ground next to her for him to sit.

This time Seamus noticed her falter slightly as she said this, and sat down next to her with a curious look. "Did something bad happen? Is everyone okay? Are you okay?" He winced slightly when he realized he was asking way to many questions.

She sighed, she could never hide her emotions. "No. Everything is okay. Promise." She smiled. "I've..just." She took a deep breath and looked away from him. "I've been spending a lot of time with Louis.." She looked down at her hands in her lap, biting her lip. She couldn't look at him.

Seamus's smile vanished, realizing he had forgetten the Claw over all the trouble at home. "Oh," he laughed half-heartedly. "Er, why would you think that'd bother me? I mean-" he cut himself off, not knowing quite what to say next.

She glanced up at him. She knew she shouldn't have said anything. "Um. Well. We asked me out, I said no, but we are going on a date this weekend..." She trailed off, feeling very awkward which is something she usually never feels. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said anything. It's just..I mean, he's been around a lot while you were away. W had those study sessions, you know, and I just-" She made herself stop. She looked over at him, guilt all over her face, and quickly looked back down.

Seamus was quiet for a moment, trying to process all of this. In the back of his head, he realized she must know how he felt about her, but he tried to reject the thought. "No, no! It's okay, I don't mind, really! I don't like - I mean, I don't care. Well, I do, but not in the way you-," he stopped, his voice growing thick. "I'm glad you're happy. Why wouldn't I be happy for you? It's not like I-," again, he cut himself off. There was no way he could bring himself to say he doesn't like her.

She glanced up at him again. "I like you Seamus. That's why this is....hard for me. You're really cute, and I actually like how you're like, I dunno, a little awkward? I just..I haven't seen you a whole lot recently, and things are sort of going well with me and Louis." She couldn't help but smile, remembering their first kiss. "I never really gave you a fair shot." She looked at him again, not looking back down this time.

Seamus's eyes widended and his stomach gave a flip. "You. . . I-I like you, too." He couldn't believe it, but he stopped his hopes from going up, aware that she must like Louis better. Eyes glistening, he met hers, gritting his teeth in an attempt to hide his emotions. "I'm sure you would've given me a fair shot, I just wasn't around for it. It's my fault, really, for disappearing." Part of him wanted to just get up and leave, to sit somewhere and think things over. But he knew that might upset her.

She continued to stare at him. She reached over and placed her hand over his. "I'm sorry. We really can be friends..if.if you want. I still want you in my life. I think we could be friends, don't you?" She was a little nervous for his answer. She wondered if he would be able to handle being just friends. She knew she wouldn't be able to talk about Louis ever, but she could handle that.

A small tear formed in the corner of his eye, but he wiped it away instantly. "I," he tried to find something to say, but honestly wasn't sure if he still wanted to be friends. Her hand on his, then on Louis's. His brow creased in pain and frustration, wishing everything was easier to figure out. How close she was . . . how much he wanted her. But then he saw her with Louis, and he had to fight back more pain. "We can still be friends."

She smiled at him. "I really hope we can. You can always tell me if it gets too...hard for you." She squeezed his hand then pulled her hand back. "I'm really sorry Seamus. I wish things could be different." She bit her lip, why would she say something like that. "Things aren't going to be weird are they?"

"I wish things were different, too." Instinctively, he reached for her hand, wanting it back. Then, realizing how that might've seemed to her, he delicately brushed his lips agaisnt her hand and returned it. "I-It won't be weird, I promise." Slowly, he put his hand on her knee and whispered, "Louis is lucky to have a girl like you."

She blushed deeply when he kissed her hand. She couldn't ignore the butterflies that were dancing around in her stomach. "Promise?" She bit her lip and continued to blush. "And any girl would be lucky to have you. Seriously, you could kill 'em with your accent." She giggled.
