He could never do anything we we actually have our wands raised." James laughed cooly, watching his friend out of the corner of his eye and letting him have a turn at taunting Snivellus. He smirked and followed up Padfoot's spell with his own. "Stupefy!"

Severus' wand flew out of his hand, and with a sharp cry of panic, he spun around and dove for it, grappling on the ground, until at last-- haha!-- he'd got it again, and he jumped to his feet, whirling around to send a particularly nasty hex in Black's direction, but then-- oh, hell-- James had sent his curse, and the red light was racing towards him, and then suddenly-- "Ow!" Severus appeared to have collided with something heavy, or else, something rather large and heavy had collided with him, but it wasn't the curse, which had soared past and hit a squirrell, which then fell over unconscious.

Um. Hermione didn't see that.

Caradoc, having seen that idiot Black, and his mildly annoying friend James-- hadn't he been messing with Lily earlier that month?-- attacking a seemingly defenseless kid was enough to wipe the usual grin off his face, and he'd started walking over, not exactly a fan of bullying. When he saw James raise his wand at the dark haired boy, he reacted on pure instinct, sprinting the last of the distance and shoving Snape unceremoniously out of the way, not having heard what spell it was, but rather just knowing whatever it, was it couldn't be good. The spell missed, and the poor kid was sprawled out on the grass, looking rather thunderstruck, but for the moment Rad paid him no mind, instead whirling on the other two. "What the hell are you two playing at? He didn't even have his fucking wand, James-- it is James, right? John? Jimmy?"

Jesus Christ I keep having to post to myself and forgetting I am waiting on myself. THIS SCENE IS VERY COMPLICATED NOW ASHLEY VERY COMPLICATED.

Sirius blinked in surprise as the blonde mountain of muscle shows up out of nowhere and gets in the way of James' curse, much to his displeasure. "What the-- dude, what are you doing? Can't you see we're busy?" he said, rolling his eyes, still failing to comprehend that there might be someone in the universe who doesn't particularly want to see Snape abused.

Lolol James just stupefied a squirrel. Oops. Aren't they already stupid though? Probably. What if stupefying a squirrel does the opposite effect and makes it intelligent? What if you could stupefy a squirrel and then have a conversation about quantum physics with it, assuming you were intelligent enough to talk about quantum physics. The squirrel would probably just scoff at your lack of understanding and scamper away. I did not just spend like four lines talking about stupefying squirrels, that didn't happen. Anyway, needless to say James is shocked as some dude runs up and shoves Snivellus to the ground. "Really if he wanted to join in, he could have just asked...," he mumbled to Sirius, until the blonde guy turned around and James recognized him as the annoying guy who liked to stick his nose in other peoples business, like when he had been wooing talking with being insulted by Lily. James walked over and picked up Snape's wand from the ground. "What do you call this, Blondie? He had it, not my fault if he can't hold onto the bloody thing."

Lolololol Eowyn loves Ashley and her mind. Severus, however, is completely unamused, and stares between Blondie and Asshole #1 and Asshole #2, trying to figure out what the fuck just happened. "... Who the fuck are you? I don't need your help," he snapped, whirling on Rad. "And give me my goddamn wand back, Potter, or I swear, you'll regret it."

Caradoc scowls at Snape, rolls his eyes, and ignores him, walking up to James instead. "Because you disarmed him, I was watching. And while I normally wouldn't bother interfering, I can't help but notice your complete disregard for fair play-- since when was two against one rather pathetic looking kid good sport? You two really so pathetic you can't be bothered to go after someone halfway able to defend themselves?" he snapped, reaching out, grabbing James by the wrist, and wrenching Snape's wand out of his grasp. Glowering at the two Gryffindors, he handed the wand back to Snape. "You, kid, hold onto your fucking wand, and learn how to block a basic disarming spell, why don't you? Got a name, kid?" he asked, looking more annoyed than anything else that his peaceful walk was disturbed by all this nonsense.

Sirius has just about had it with this asshole, but when he snatches the wand away from James, he realizes that this guy isn't particularly into games or joking around, so he does the most logical thing, and laughs. "Seriously, Dearborn? You came over here to lecture us? Have you really got nothing better to do with your time than playing big brother to greasy gits like him?" he snorted, leaning against the tree casually, an amused smirk on his face as he flips his hair in typical Sirius fashion. "Look, I get it, you want to play hero, make yourself feel better-- okay, you've done it. Now why don't you take your faggy self and run off, maybe buy yourself a new set of heels, or whatever it is you poofters do on a bad day, instead of messing around in places you don't belong, alright?" he taunted, twirling his wand between his fingers and glancing in James' direction.

"Ooooh, I'll regret it!" James mocked him, pretending to be afraid as he waggled his wand around in front of Snape's face. That sounds so incredibly dirty but I am not editing it because it will probably make Eowyn and whoever else reads this laugh. Whatever. He scowled at Rad as he started lecturing him about fair play and pathetic people and all that mess he didn't really pay attention to except for one thing. "So you agree he's pathetic and can't defend himself, then? Told you, Snivellus! You--" He'd turned toward the greasy git to start in on him again, but Rad's hand had closed around his wrist and he was pulling Snape's wand away from James like a real douche. Finally he just gave it up, not really feeling up to a thumb wrestling match right now. James smirked in Sirius's direction as he spoke up. He stuck one of his hands casually in his pocket, but with the other he kept his wand on Rad, not sure what the idiot might try. "You just like saving people who don't really want your help, huh? Evans, Greaseball. Is it your life's mission to just get involved in as much of other peoples private business as you can? Not sure how it's done where you're from, but here, you don't go sticking your nose in business that isn't yours."

Severus turned the distinct shade of a quaffle that has been covered in what is hopefully the blood of one James' Potter, and gratefully accepts the wand from Rad, though he chooses to say nothing-- in the current position, he decides its best to hang back, and say behind Blondie, with his wand discreetly aimed at James' groin, just in case.

"Evans? Who is-- oh, Lily," he said, comprehension dawning, as he hadn't heard Lily's last name yet, I believe. "Didn't see much complaining from her, actually, I believe I got a thank you-- you see, she wasn't particularly fond of your harassment-- do you two just like to go around pissing off women, or something? Because I swear, if you, Sirius, go anywhere near Pansy again, I'll rip off your balls and feed them to you dipped in your own blood," he said in a calm, collected voice, not in the least phased by the boys' attempts at taunting him-- it was a childish game, and he wasn't about to sink to their level. "You know, I thought Gryffindors were supposed to be chivalrous. You see, where I come from, the bullying of helpless kids isn't considered a game, and in fact, I think that no matter where you're from, picking on someone that much more pitiful than either of you is just plain petty-- and for the record, I think both of you are more pathetic than he is, that you have to sink that low to get your kicks. If it's a fight you want, I'd be happy to provide you with an actual duel, but somehow, I don't see either of you being up to a challenge that there's a distinct possibility of you losing. No, you seem to like the kind of fights you're guaranteed success, don't you? Cocky little children," he spat at the two of them, then turned to Snape, who was still cowering. "What the hell are you waiting for? Are you just going to hang around until someone else wants a turn at kicking your ass?" he said incredulously, rather bewildered as to why this kid was sticking around.

Sirius' gaze flickers between Caradoc and James, and he stares rather dubiously at Snape for a moment before finally deciding on a course of action. "This-- god, you really are a dick, aren't you? And here I was, trying to give you the benefit of the doubt, 'cause Remus actually likes you-- ugh. Prongs, let's beat it, before Blondie decides to lecture us more-- you know, I'm sure you could get a job, doing that kind of thing-- perhaps Filch will take a liking to you," he snorted, slinging an arm around James' shoulders and walking away, giving James that IF YOU DO NOT LISTEN AND GET OUT OF HERE WITH ME NOW WHEN I TELL YOU TO, THERE WILL BE TROUBLE AND I WILL NOT BE AMUSED, look.

What with Snape being all pathetic on the ground and Rad all high and mighty and suggesting he wasn't properly able to duel when given an able opponent, James was all ready to say ME. YOU. THROWDOWN. RIGHT NOW. BRING IT. But luckily, Sirius cut in before James could react. Though, he did make one last motion toward Snape, as if he were going to leap forward, bucking his head and shoulders toward him to watch him jump back. He laughed and put his arm around Sirius's shoulders as well, rolling his eyes at his friend's expression and heading back up to the castle without another word.

Caradoc turned to Snape, once the others were out of earshot, and stared down at him in a rather menacing manner, though not exactly intentionally. "I asked you before, kid, what's your name?" he questioned, not at all amused.

Scorpius had decided to take a walk on the grounds, still trying to sort out his feelings and whatnot for Al. He wasn't sure what to make of the whole thing. He then spotted Viktor under a tree and his eyes widened. Viktor was his friend. His gay friend. Quickly, he ran over, for reasons that Dom isn't quite sure. He just ran. RUN SCORPIUS, RUN. "Viktor!" he said, slightly out of breath. "It's been... long time. I need...help," he said, gaining control of his breathing.

Viktor looks over at Scorpius and smiles, happy to see his friend though he is confused about the whole running thing. Did he really miss him that much? Probably not, it just looks like he has something really important to say. "Help? Sure, Scorpius. Anything," he said as he put his metaphorical listening ears on. "Vot's new? Ve haven't really talked or seen each other since you gave me my tattoo."

"Damn," Scorpius muttered, his eyes widening. "It has been a long time! I just...I need your advice. I've been going through this whole...thing, and no one would understand but you. YOU'RE MY ONLY HOPE!" he said loudly, before glancing around and lowering his voice again. "See...my best friend and I...we did some stuff in our dorm room the other day. Stuff of a... sexual nature, and now I'm all confused!"

Viktor listens quietly as Scorpius talks, feeling rather important right now as the pressure being put on him increases. He thinks Scorpius is awesome and now he's finding out that he's his ONLY HOPE! ...!!! His eyes widen in shock because the last time he checked, Scorpius' best friend Al is very male-like and Scorpius is very straight-like. "You...You and Al? Alright, so you and Al...Um. Vere you guys drunk? Or...bored? Vot brought all of this about in the first place?"

Pansy is a girl who is very naive and does not understand at all," he said, adding a pout for some sympathy points here.

"Alright, first you need to calm down, Scorpius," he told his friend, keeping his voice calm as he rested both hands on Scorpius' shoulders. "You von't be able to think straight if you keep freaking out. Just...Aww, don't pout." Viktor does not like the pout. It gets him every time. It gets him when Hermione does it, when Rolf does it, and now Scorpius is giving him the pout as well. "Okay, so...You're confused. Um. I'm assuming you liked this vhile it vos happening.
