Re: The Apple Trees

Ginny came out to the grounds, relieved to find it wasn't below freezing today. Deciding to go to the apple tree, she sat down underneath it and pulled out a book. She doesn't eat an apple though, because...it's winter. Why in the world would there be apples on the tree? Dom is just making an observation and wondering if other people went about eating apples. Hmm. ANYWAY. Ginny is here and Dom apologizes for rambling <.<

Maybe they're magic apple trees that have apples all year long? *blinks* Yeah, okay, maybe not. Haha.
Kras is just wandering about, lost in thought. He was still kind of confused over what had happened between himself and Sirius the night before. What had it all meant? Was he really gay? Or was he just bi? He couldn't figure it out, especially since he had no intimate experience with a girl whatsoever and, therefore, couldn't really compare the way he felt. He's pulled out of his thoughts when he spots a pretty red haired girl sitting under a tree reading a book. His 'omg I get to meet someone new' radar goes off and he happily meanders over to say hello. "Hi!" He speaks cheerfully, leaning on an arm against the tree and looking down at the girl, all 6'2'' of him. Oops. Hopefully he doesn't seem intimidating - sometimes it happens and he hates it. Being super tall had its disadvantages sometimes.

Ginny was torn from her thoughts and reading when she suddenly heard a voice. Glancing up, she noticed a guy leaning against a tree. It's not that scary though, which is a good thing. She's not one that is easily scared, so his presence wasn't that alarming. In fact, she was only really bothered by one person's presence, a certain Malfoy, so it was quite relieving to see this other guy. "Oh, hi," she said, somewhat surprised because she had never talked to him before. It was nice meeting new people though. "I'm Ginny," she introduced herself with a smile.

"Hello, Ginny." Kras grinned. "Do you mind if I join you? I'm Krasimir, or Kras if you vould prefer." He sat down, legs pulled up to his chin, arms wrapped around them, his chin resting on his knees. "Vot are you reading? If you don't mind me asking."

"Not at all, sit," she said, motioning to the ground next to her. She closed the book, not wanting to be rude and read it with him there. "Oh, it's just a book on defense against the dark arts," she said with a small shrug and then smiling at him. "I just enjoy doing a little bit of reading outside of classes. Kind of lame I guess," she admitted. "Your accent...I recognize it..." she said breaking off as she tried to place it.

"That's not lame." Kras shook his head, gently taking the book from her hands and flipping through the pages. "I do it all the time, it's fun. This looks interesting." He hands it back to her, grinning when she comments on his accent. "Maybe you've talked to Viktor Krum before? I'm a friend of his from Bulgaria. I transferred here for my final year of schooling."

She handed the book to him, not concerned at all that he would destroy it like Lucius tended to do. Wow. That is twice now that Ginny has thought about Lucius now. Oops. Awkward. "It is rather interesting," she replied with a smile. "Oh! Yes, that's it! He's in my house so I've run into him a few times." She glanced at his robes and noted he was in Hufflepuff. "What's it like in Hufflepuff?" she asked curiously.

"Vell...it's not that bad. Nothing much happens but ve are all very friendly." Kras shrugs. "And you're in Gryffindor," he notices, "I've heard a lot about Gryffindor and it seems like a fun house. And apparently all the pretty girls are in Gryffindor as vell." He comments, kind of oblivious to the fact that it was kind of a flirty comment. He was still pretty innocent about things, even after all the stuff Sirius had shown him. Ah well.

Aww, well it is rather sweet to have an innocent guy around Hogwarts. Unicorns unite? Pansy, JSP, and Kras could all start a club together. "Hufflepuff does seem to be quieter compared to Gryffindor. Everyone in the house is very nice though. Oh...well....thanks," she said, her cheeks flushing lightly as she tucked a strand of her red hair behind her ear. "So err...why exactly did you want to come to Hogwarts?" she asked, changing the subject to something that wouldn't cause her to blush.

Kras tilts his head, kind of slightly confused as to why Ginny's face was turning red. Was it something he'd said? He'd just called her pretty - which he'd definitely meant, cause she was rather attractive. OH. Maybe that had been it. How many times had he called girls pretty - always being sincere of course - and had totally been oblivious to any sort of blushing? Well, that was Kras, for ya. Totally oblivious. He'd have to really pay more attention more often. "Vy? Vell, I kind of vanted the 'study abroad' experience and another deciding factor vos the fact that my best friend vos here. I really missed Viktor." Kras grinned. He still had to talk to his friend. Apologize for not getting to spend time with him and Hermione over the holidays, and tell him what had been going on with his parents.

Ginny just wasn't very used to someone calling her pretty. She really didn't think that way about herself. All she saw was her pale freckled skin, her red hair, and her gangly body. So to hear that he thought she was pretty, was rather surprising. "Well, that makes sense then. It's great that you go the opportunity to do so before graduation." She thought that it was extremely sweet that Viktor was one of the reasons he came over. "Well, that's really nice that you two are close and able to go to the same school again. He must really like having you here," she smiled.

"I hope so." Kras sighed. "I haven't gotten to talk to him in ages, sadly. And there's much I need to talk to him about." He absently picked at the cuff of his shirt sleeve. "Hogvarts is huge, you know? I mean, I've been here for a vhile now, yet I still managed to get lost the other day. Sometimes I think it's a vonder how anyvon finds anyvon else here."

Ginny gave him a sad look, for she could tell that it really was bothering him. She couldn't even imagine what it would be like if she didn't talk to her friends daily, so she really did feel bad for him. "Well, I'm sure you'll find time to get to talk to him soon," she said, hoping that she was right. "Yes, I remember first coming to Hogwarts. It was really difficult as this scared little first year." She tried not to think of her first year, for it was not a good time. "It definitely gets easier though," she said, giving him a gentle smile.

Hehe. ^^ It's okay. I'm going to have to get going to sleep soon, myself. I get off work at 3 tomorrow so I should be home around 3:40ish or so. Then again it's supposed to be really icky and icy and I'm not sure if I'll be calling off yet or not. <.<

Kras smiled softly in return, nodding. "I really really hope ve do get to talk soon. I miss him. It must have been really scary coming here your first year..I mean, just getting a good first look of the school from the outside kind of terrified me." he chuckled. "I suppose it vould have been easier though if you either already knew someone here or something. Did you have any older siblings that vere already here ven you started?"

"Yeah. At least you didn't have to cross the lake in a little boat at night. That...is extremely scary," she said. She let out a light laugh when he asked about older siblings. "Yeah, I did. I had four older brothers actually in the school when I came and then two that had already graduated. I'm the youngest of seven kids," she said with a small shrug, so used to her very large family.

"Oh my...I don't think I'd have made it across the lake. I'd have been scared stiff." Kras laughed, slightly quaffley. He wasn't the bravest guy out there, but he tried. He blinked when she mentioned being the youngest of seven. "Seven? Voah...I vish I even had one sibling, honestly. I've been an only child all my life. Are you the only girl or do you have any sisters?" He couldn't even imagine what it must be like being the only girl out of seven kids.

Ginny thought it was rather sweet that he was scared about going across the lake. It was kind of nice to hear a guy admit to being scared of something, for most tried to appear massively macho and they just came off as egotistical. "Yeah, seven kids. I honestly don't know how in the world my parents managed it. I could only handle half that amount of kids. Yeah, I'm the only girl. I mean, I think it only helped in the end. It definitely toughened me off," she smiled.

"I can see how it'd toughen you up. I'd love to have kids, I think." Kras nods to himself as if in agreement. "Not for a vhile yet, of course, but maybe sometime in the future vonce I'm out of school, married, and have been settled down for a couple of years." he shrugs. "Then again, two guys together can't really make their own kids..." he mutters quietly under his breath. What a bother. He couldn't deny the fact that the stuff he'd done with Sirius had felt good, yet whether that made him completely gay he had no idea.

"Oh, understandable," she smiled. "I want to wait quite a bit until I have kids. Also for that right person," she shrugged. She heard what Kras had said and gave him a curious expression. "Well...err..." she began, unsure of what to really say. "I mean, you can't really make a baby. But there's always adoption!" she said, nodding her head. Ginny was totally okay with the idea of him being gay, because Ginny totally supports that stuff. After all, in the future her son comes out to her. So yeah, she handles this stuff quite well.

"Vot?" Kras blinks, going quaffley. "Oh...I'm not...I mean, I don't think I'm- oh, heck, I don't even know. I can't figure it out, vich is quite frustrating. And I guess you're right, there vould alvays be adoption." Why did things have to be so complicated?

"Oh...well, sorry to make things slightly awkward," she said, flushing a bit when she realized she brought up quite the personal subject. "I suppose it's just something that you'll figure out one day when the time is right. It's not something that everyone knows right off the bat. I'm sure you'll find the answers real soon. Just don't let it dictate how you live day by day."

"No, no, it's okay. Don't vorry about it." Kras flailed a bit, not wanting to make her think she'd upset him or anything. "It's quite a new situation for me, actually. I hadn't really even thought about relationships or who I vos interested in until really last night. It'd been kind of unimportant before then." he shrugs, blushing a tiny bit before continuing. "I got my first kiss last night...I never thought it'd be vith a guy." Not that he was complaining, it'd been a damn good kiss. Then things had just moved rather quickly and holy crap he still feels a bit awkward about how he'd acted during.

Ginny began to wonder if there was something in the water in Bulgaria. First Viktor and now Kras? If Ginny ever meets another Bulgarian guy, she'd have to check what their sexuality was as well. She cocked her head to the side for a moment as she considered Kras carefully. The poor guy seemed more than confused. "What did it feel like?" she asked him, hoping to help him work through his emotions. "Did it feel forced? Was it awkward when you kissed? Or did it all feel natural? Sometimes it doesn't matter what gender the person it, it's more of the who it is that you're kissing."
