Lily is so taken aback by Alice's sudden rise in volume that she jerks back a bit, muscular back colliding with the rough bark of the tree she's perched against. She recovers with another hair flip -she's getting really good at those now- and smirks. "She wouldn't dare replace us with a hungry hungry hippo," she announces, bravado filling the masculine voice with all the confidence in the world that the siblings seem to have in each other. Then she shrugs sheepishly. "What can I say? You live, you learn. Long as she doesn't mess with the hair, though."

Alice raises her eyebrows at Gideon's obvious surprise at her change in tone. Gideon normally did not react to when she started screaming like a madman, as he'd grown up around it. [In which Dee makes shit up. *shrugs*] Though she was still confused, Alice shrugs this oddity off again as if it were nothing. Maybe he saw a man eating squirrel, or something, she thinks. "Well, I suppose that's true. Hippos can't talk, so they wouldn't be able to constantly compliment her and keep her happy," she says, as if she didn't have an ego as well. "If she messed with the hair, you wouldn't be Gideon Prewett, anymore. I can barely even imagine you bald. What if she made you go bald? Would you cry? I bet you would," she says in a mocking tone.

[Sounds legit to me <3 *makes shit up all the time*] Lily pretends not to notice Alice giving her 'what is wrong with you, did you just see a man eating squirrel?' looks and gives herself a little mental talking to about being smoother around the sudden movements and loud noises associated with talking to Alice, as the real Gideon would be. Lily laughs as Alice mentions Molly needing a constant stream of compliments to keep her happy, then feels guilty for doing so while in her current form and curtails her laughter into a sheepish grin. "Right." She wants to laugh again when Alice mentions messing with Gideon's hair, because she's often thought the same thing, but instead she forces her expression into a look of horror that would surely be more appropriate for Gideon when his hair is under threat. She lifts her hands, clutching at the short strands of hair on her head. "Don't even joke about that, Alice Prewett. I don't even know if it's possible for me to cry, but if I was, that would probably be the only acceptable reason." She gives a theatrical little shudder, really getting into the performance. "Why would you even say something like that?"

"Er, I am like, positive that you can cry, because all humans have tear ducts, and there was that one time when I got Drooble's stuck in your hair and you cried and Mum almost had to cut it out with a Severing Charm, leaving one lock shorter than the others." [Shit just comes out of my asshole and I type it up. This is just what happens.] She smirked at the memory. "Wish I'd gotten a picture of your face. Anyway, why wouldn't I say something like that? I have discovered that being mean can be fun. I was mean to Mrs. Norris the other day. Told her she looked like a cheap whore who'd been rubbed up in all the wrong places. She hissed at me. And then Gollum starting rubbing up on her like it was a strip club or something and he was putting money in her knickers. I just hope he doesn't get any Sexually Transmitted Cat Diseases."

[And here I've been using the toilet like an idiot.... *blinks*] Lily really, really wants to laugh now. She snorts, but brings herself back under control quickly with the promise that she will ask Gideon about that particular incident later and given that she's currenly much bigger and stronger than he is stuck in her body, she will sit on him until he gives in and tells her. "You're evil," she says, and a when Alice speaks again she's relieved to finally have a legitimate excuse to let her laughter out. "Maybe we should take Gollum to the vet when we get home for the summer, just to be sure." Maybe the vet can tell for sure exactly what Gollum is, Lily adds silently. She shakes her head and then flips Gideon's hair to ensure it falls back into place. Merlin, it gets tiring spending so much of her conscious thought on how his hair looks. No wonder Gideon has no time for study. "There's a difference between Filch's manky evil cat and your awesomest brother though, Ali. Really."

"Well, yes, I suppose you're right. But only because Mrs. Norris is a cat, and you are a human. And I guess you're not a cheap whore like she is. But your IQ's are probably around the same. And I'm not talking on a human level, here, if you know what I mean. Oh my wizard god, I just had a horrible thought. If Mrs. Norris got knocked up by Gollum, Filch would go all Run Joey Run up in this joint." Alice frowns. "Well, that would mean he'd shoot his own kitty by accident, and all the problems of the world would be solved."

Lily has literally no clue how to respond to Alice. She, personally, would be offended and she has to work hard to keep the annoyance from flashing across her face because she thinks the dynamic between Gideon and Alice is different, and calls for a different response. Lily just has no idea what that response might be. "You know, it's times like this that make me wonder why we didn't just leave you at St. Mungo's when we had the chance, little sister," she finally says. "Besides, I don't think the 'Run Joey Run' approach is a good all-round kitty contraceptive. Not that I'm opposed to Mrs Norris being on the wrong end of that smoking gun or anything...." she trails off, biting into the apple to give her an excuse to stop talking before she really messes things up.

"I was too cute for that," Alice replies simply. "And besides, what would your life be like without me? Pretty damn dull, I reckon." She shrugs again. "You know, you've been acting a little odd today. It might just be me, but you're acting like you're someone trying to be you who's doing a good job at it." She narrows her eyes, examining his face closely. "Well, you look the same. But you could still be an impersonator."

"Sure you were," Lily says, smirking and rolling her eyes in what she hopes is a very Gideonlike fashion. "But I'm sure we'd all manage to entertain ourselves somehow in your absence, sister of mine." The expression on Gideon's face freezes as Alice examines the face Lily is wearing with suspicion. Oh bugger.... She swallows and chuckles, although it sounds a little weak even to her ears. "Oh well, tired you know- Lily keeps me pretty busy," she says, trying to force Gideon's face to smirk instead of cringe at the crassness of that remark. "Besides, who in the world would dare attempt to pull off the awesomeness of a Prewett, right? It just couldn't be done. You must be high again, Ali."

Alice scrunches her nose in disgust. "I don't wanna know, Giddypie." She shakes her head very fast ridding her head of all dirty images, because that is what happens when you say that sort of thing to Alice Prewett, before scoffing at his question. "Only a dumbass. No one can pull it off. Not even Lilys in Gideon bodies, though she got close. High? You think so? I suppose it's possible. I don't exactly remember what I was doing before I got here."

Lily smirks, because at least her objective has been achieved and Alice is thrown off the scent... for now. She chuckles, because she feels like Gideon would laugh instead of apologising in this scenario. She mentally stores up 'Giddypie' in her arsenal for an opportune moment. "Indeed, little sister - only a dumbass," Lily agrees with a healthy dose of irony. And because her little Prefect's heart cannot resist a lecture, she adds, "Just a theory, but if you're starting to lose your short-term memory, might be time to lay off the weed a bit, Ali. Unless of course you're just being possessed, but I'm sure Pomphrey would have some holy water somewhere."

Arthur leads Molly out of the portrait hole and out of the castle onto the grounds. He looks around to where Ted had put up their signal, a Manchester United flag. Ted is very smart, putting the picnic under the apple trees; the blossoms looks so pretty in the spring. He gently grabs Molly's hand as they approach picnic setup.

It's very simple, with a red blanket lying on the ground, and a picnic basket of food on it. There was also a bottle of champagne sitting out, with two plastic champagne glasses because he knows that glass and nervous Arthur aren't a good combination.

Arthur look nervously over at Molly. "So do you like it?" Arthur asks nervously. "Ted helped a lot, so you should thank him too." Because his friend deserved some serious credit for all his hard work.

Molly walks with Arthur, her nose crinkling a little in confusion when she notices a Manchester United flag. She takes in the scene before her, a gentle smile lighting up her face seemingly from within. It's lovely, so simple and perfect and Molly loves it. She looks fondly at the plastic champagne glasses, because it's so very Arthur. "It's beautiful," she says, and giggles when Arthur admits Ted's involvement. She points to the Man U flag. "I, like, totally should've guessed that, right? Should we sit?"

"That sounds good," Arthur says, sitting down on the ground. He grabs the champagne bottle and looks at it curiously. "Do you how to open one of these thingS? I think there's a spell you can use, but I'm not certain about exactly what it is." Arthur really wishes that Ted had told him the spell before hand or gave him a little lesson before this night.

[Molly Prewett]

Molly settles next to Arthur -not too close, but not so far away that they're not nice and cosy because that probably wouldn't be very nice at all- and tucks her legs in underneath her, her skirt smoothed over her lap. "Um, I don't know the spell. I think you just, like, pull it out," she says, waving her hand a little to loosely indicate pulling the cork from the bottle. Oh Molly, don't you know how dangerous that is?

[Arthur Weasley]

Arthur nods nervously. He grabs the champagne, takes a deep breath, and pulls out the cork even though both Teresa and Justin are screaming at him not to do it. The champagne comes flying out, landing all over Arthur and Molly. Arthur, not sure what to do with it, tries to move the bottle to side in order to avoid an alcohol-smelling mess. But he's a little late and there's still champange all over him and Molly. "Sorry," he whispers weakly, a blush creeping up his face.

Molly freezes, her hair and dress covered in champagne and ohMerlin that's going to be one sticky awful mess dirty thoughts. "OhmyGod," she gasps. Then she bursts out laughing. "OhmyGod, that was, like, insane!" She giggles some more, reaching out and wiping a couple of drops from Arthur's face and thinking to herself that he looks adorable.

{Thank you for the dirty thoughts. Arthur is now a bit more...excitable than he was before. Justin's just burst into greater amounts of hysterical laughter.}

Arthur sees Molly giggling and pauses for a moment, his mind reeling with about twenty thoughts. He glances down at his feet, feeling the small puddle of champagne that had formed in them. Looking up at Molly's pretty face, looking so joyful in the act of laughing, he feels instantly relaxed. He puts down the champagne bottle before bursting into hysterical laughter. "Ted...is...an...idiot," Arthur choked out. "Not that I'm much better, of course, but still."

You know what! Ted can open a bottle. Smoothly. Without throwing it on his date.

Shut up. Arthur actually has a date. Also, what idiot gives Arthur a champagne bottle to open? Seriously.

You're welcome. And that was a pretty huge fail on Ted's part. He should've at least left instructions that Molly should open it.

Molly giggles, but calms down slowly. She tosses her hair over her shoulder, now glad she hadn't spent hours on it, and figures that it will dry soon enough. Not thinking to use a simple drying charm, she grabs some paper towel and blots at the most soaked parts of her dress. She'll be able to clean it properly later, she knows. She glances up at Arthur, eyes still brimming with mirth, and smirks. "He is. But at least he, like, had the sense for plastic glasses. Here, is there any left?" she asks, and grabs the two glasses to hold them steady for Arthur to pour whatever champagne is left after that little fiasco.

About a quarter of the bottle is left, so Arthur tries to pour equal amounts into each glass; this is made difficult, however, by the fact that his arm was nervously shaking. He smiles back at Molly. "At least there's some left. Though we can't blame Ted; at least he thought of the plastic glasses. Sorry about getting you wet. I hope you don't mind," Arthur says. Well, he figures that she probably does mind, but he hopes that spilling alcohol on her wasn't that big of a mistake.

Molly just smiles and moves the glasses to wherever Arthur's shaking hand takes the bottle so that they don't spill anymore. "Yeah. I'm still, like, totally going to give him hell when I see him next, though. Just because it's fun," she says with a little giggle. Then she shakes her head when he apologises for getting her wet more dirty thoughts. SorryI'llstopnow. "I don't mind. Really. It's only, like, going to dry anyway so whatever." She waits until he sets the champagne bottle down safely to hand one of the champagne glasses to him. "This was a super nice idea, Arthur. It's totally sweet," she tells him.

{Thank you again. Now excited Arthur is battling for brain space with nervous Teresa who's texting the guy she likes.}

Arthur gently places down the bottle and accepts the glass from Molly. "Thanks. I'm glad you like it. The weather is always very pretty around this time year, and Hogmeade's nice, but picnics are lots of fun." Picnics are also good, cost-efficient dates for someone on a budget like Arthur. "So, what do you want to toast to? Because normally do that with champagne, I think?"
