James Sirius stared. He just stared at her like she was absolutely crazy and and psychotic for a moment. Opening his mouth, he tried to formulate words, but failed. "You...brooms...what?" he asked, still in shock. "Have you ever even been on a broom? If you've ever been on one, then you'd know that they are all very different. I mean, there are completely different dynamics when it comes to the models and whatnot. Flying...it's one of the greatest things in the world!"

Parvati blinked a few times as he just stared at her like she was a freak. "Well. No." She said as he asked her if she had ever been on a broom. She hadn't ever been on a flying broom that is, a people broom? Yes. >.> But that's a whole other story. She stared at him like he was crazy when he went on about how all the models were different and everything. "How is it so great though? You're just like....sitting but you move..." She said and blinked a few times. Someone needs to get this girl on a broom. A non sexual one, asap so she doesn't have a third conversation with someone about how magical flying is.

He looked at her in disbelief. How could she have never ridden a broom?! It was insane. It was blasphemy. It was an outrage! "Sure...it's sort of like sitting...but not really. There's something about being up in the air. The way you slice through the air with ease, the wind in your hair and moving your clothes so that they ruffle around your body. Just the atmosphere in itself is amazing. Then when you start to add different aspects, like Quidditch, it's just phenomenal. There's nothing like a good game of Quidditch on a sunny day," he said with a longing sigh. It really had been ages since he'd played with all his cousins.

Parvati just stared at him, attempting to take everything he was saying in but most of it was just going on one ear and out the other. Other than a few main points. Like the concept that the world should revolve around Quidditch. "Ummmm, Yeah. I've never really been on a broom other than when I was little and my dad took me on his with him." She said with a shrug. "I don't really remember it though." She said and sighed. "I have a friend who likes Quidditch a lot though." She said nodding. "His name is Viktor. He goes here. Maybe you know him?"

James felt sorry for her, really sorry. This poor girl was seriously deprived. He wondered how someone could go to Hogwarts and never really go on a broom. (Well, with the exception of Hermione who is deathly afraid of them). "You're...you're friends with Viktor Krum?!" he asked, eyes wide with surprise. "Of course I know him! He's only one of the greatest seekers in the world! How are you friends with him?! I mean, I know he's in Gryffindor, but I've never really talked to him. He always seems rather busy." James also kind of avoids Viktor because he would end up embarrassing himself by going all fanboy.

Parvati grins and nods. "Well,, I don't know. We've talked a few times and we've just kind of became good friends." She said with a smile. "He's a cool guy." She said and smiled at him. "Really friendly. And nice too. I'm sure he'd love you. He seems to like everybody. You know? Just one of those guys who is really friendly and likes to get to know everyone."

"Yeah, maybe I will one day build up the nerves to go and talk to him," James replied with a grin. He could do this. No big deal. Viktor was just a regular guy and just like any normal person. Yep. "Maybe one of these days I'll just go up to him in the common room and introduce myself," he said with a decisive nod.

Parvati couldn't help but grin at James. It was so adorable how he seemed so nervous to talk to Viktor. I mean, to her Viktor was just a friend but apparently to James, Viktor was a huge celebrity. "Yeah, You should! I mean, He's a really friendly guy. It's not like he's going to get annoyed if you walk up to him and completely blank out and just make a fool out of yourself." She said and realized she probably wasn't helping with the hole nervousness of the situation. "I'm sure you won't do that though!"

"Yeah...I'm sure it'll be fine," he said, trying to seem all relaxed and cool and totally awesome. "HEY! I won't make that big of a fool of myself! I mean, I'm liable to sound like an idiot at some point, but I don't think I'd embarrass myself that much." He really hoped he wouldn't. Though, when in doubt, talking about Quidditch would always be a safe bet. Though Viktor probably gets that a lot. What if Viktor is tired of talking about Quidditch! Shit. James would HAVE to think of new topics. Maybe he'll make a list of potential conversation topics. Yes. Good plan.

Totally Awesome. Hehe. Parvati nodded and smiled at him. "I'm sure you won't make a fool of yourself." She said nodding. "You'll probably do perfect and Viktor will just never want to stop talking to you ever." She said and grinned at him. Little do they know that Viktor and James first meeting will not be in the common room and it will not just be a casual talk about quidditch and the weather.

James is absolutely terrified for the meeting. Plus, it's going to be so much worse when it actually happens. "Well thanks for the boost of confidence," he said with a grin and then deciding to shift subjects away from Viktor Krum. "Now...you said you have a sister. Is it just one sibling you have?" he asked.

Yes. Yes it will be worse. *evil smile* "Anytime James. Anytime." She said and smiled at him. "Yeah." She said nodding. "Only one sister. She's actually more than just a sister kind of." She said and smiled. "She's my twin. Her name is Padma and she's in Ravenclaw and she goes here and is in my year. Looks kinda like me." She said with a smile, having a twin was totally normal. Yup.

"That's so neat! I always wondered what it would be like to have a twin, but my mum says that one of me is enough," he said with a small shrug. Now it's really weird when James mentions his mum. Well then. "It always kind of just seems awesome to have that different and almost deeper connection to someone," he said.

Parvati couldn't help but laugh when he said one of him was enough. Which was probably true because he would be the twin who would play pranks on people and switch places. Yup. I could see it now. "It is weird having a twin. Especially when people mistake me for my twin, like when people call me Padma it's just really awkward when I have to tell them I'm not Padma and that I'm Parvati and then they just kind of stare at me and are like Ummm, Alrighty then. But other than that it is really nice having a twin." She said nodding. "Its nice to be so close to someone, But I mean, I would imagine that could happen with any siblings."

"Yeah, I could see what you mean with that sort of aspect," he said, deducing that Padma and Parvati must look quite like each other. He was going to do his best to never ever embarrass himself and mix them up, though he doubted that would happen. "No...I feel like things are quite different. Though, maybe that's because my brother and I just aren't ridiculously close. I mean, we get along great and stuff, but we aren't glued at the hip. We're extremely different...even just looking at our two different houses. I'm a Gryffindor...he's a Slytherin. Regardless of that little detail though, we do get along real well."

"Yeah, Padma and I used to practically be glued at the hip." She said with a light laugh. "Though, Once we came to Hogwarts and she got put into Ravenclaw and I got put into Gryffindor we changed a lot and things kind of changed. You know? I mean, We are still really close and all that but we aren't like ridiculously close like we were before school." She said nodding.

I mean, it's not just the fact that you're in different houses...it's the fact that you are developing different friendships and whatnot. I see Al...maybe once a week now. It's kind of pathetic actually," he said with a frown, thinking that that needed to change really soon.

"Yeah, Same here with Padma. I mean, Yeah we see each other at meals every day but we don't actually talk. Just like a wave or a smile across the room." She said nodding. "We only get to hang out and really talk about once a week." She said and sighed. "But I mean, during the Holidays we definitely make up for that by spending almost every day together."

I mean, Al and I sort of hang out over breaks...but he likes to go and hang out with his friend...Scorpius Malfoy," James said, not liking Scorpius very much. "Whatever. His choice I suppose."

"Oh, I don't know him that well, but I was planning on having him ~~tattoo my whole body~~ give me my tattoo." She said with a small nod. "I haven't talked to him that many times but he seemed pretty nice the few times I did talk to him."

Parvati blinked a few times. "Okay. Umm, One. I'm not going to be getting naked in front of him. I am just getting the tattoo on my foot so I won't be taking any clothes off." She said with a light laugh. "And also, He did Viktor Krums tattoo so I trust him with a needle." She said nodding. "Thanks for being so concerned for me though." She said with a small wink.
