"Haven't really been up to anything interesting," he replied with a small shrug while sitting down. "Ahhh, the essay," he said while wrinkling his nose. "Well, Sluggy did give me half credit, but I also got detention. Apparently getting into an accident and nearly killing a beautiful girl was not an acceptable excuse."

Parvati smiled a bit when he wrinkled his nose, it was amazing how a guy could go from totally sexy to totally adorable in a matter of seconds. She grinned at him. "Well, I'm sorry you only got half credit because of me." She said sympathetically. "Unless you bumped into another beautiful girl on the way to give him your essay then this is just awkward." She said with a smirk, she sure hoped he was taking about her, because that seriously would be really awkward.

"It's alright, Sluggy hates me anyone and would have managed to find a reason to give me half credit anyway," he told her. "Perhaps me calling him Sluggy to his face isn't a good thing." He glanced over at her, giving a wide grin before saying, "Well of course I was talking about you. I mean, just how many absolutely stunning girls are there in this school? Just my luck that I ended up running into one...literally," he grinned.

She couldn't help but laugh at his sluggy comment. "Yeah, I imagine calling him sluggy wouldn't help you out at all, but it is pretty funny." She said with a wink. She grinned at him as he went on about running into her and such. "Now, If I ask you something, Do you promise to be honest with me?"

James was slightly alarmed by the change in conversation but went with it immediately. "Uhh, of course!" he said, offering her a comforting smile. "Though if it's about the stairs incident...that really was an accident. I didn't mean to nearly kill you."

"Oh, I knew it was an accident. I am just curious if you do this with every girl you meet." She said and gave him a small smile. "You know, tell them how beautiful they are, and stunning and how amazing they are." She said with a soft smile. "So, do you do it with every girl? Is it just you trying to get into girls pant? Or are you really a nice guy?" She asked because she was a bit sick of some guys little games and would rather them just be blunt.

James nearly froze when he asked him the question and gave it some serious thought for a moment. After all, he didn't want to come off as an A-class jerk. Honesty was the best policy, yeah? "I...sometimes," he admitted, ruffling his hair slightly. "I... I flirt, yes. I can't help it. It's like, this instinct I have, you know? It's not that you aren't beautiful because you definitely are so don't think that that is the reason in the slightest, okay? I just kind of like to acknowledge when some girls deserve that sort of attention over others. I'm...not trying to get in your pants," he said with a light flush before continuing with his small rant. "I just...I like to kind of test the waters and see if there's this chemistry, you know what I mean? If there is..then I try and work up the nerves and balls to try and ask a girl on a date. This is usually the part I end up cocking up with and make a complete and obnoxious fool of myself with. I don't mean to be that way though, I just sort of am. I...should stop talking now," he said, breaking off with a mumble.

She smiled at him and nodded as he talked and talked about it. She couldn't help but grin at him as he made himself talk. "It's fine. I mean, I flirt a lot too. It's just, I don't know it puts more excitement in your life, You know?" She said with a smile. "I was just curious." She said with a light shrug. "I mean, I always wonder about guys when they are this nice because usually guys aren't really nice. They are either cocky, jerky, prats or they just want to get in your pants." She said with a sigh. "Thanks for being honest though, it shows me that I can trust you obviously since you just told me all of that. I can't imagine you not being able to ask a girl out. I mean, you just seem so confident." She said and gave him a smile. "You seem like you'd be able to do something like that with ease." She noted and smiled at him, which she couldn't seem to stop doing around him.

"Yeah...I sort of too come off as the confident and slightly arrogant kind of guy," he said, giving her a small smile. He thought about it for a moment then admitted in a quiet tone. "I...it's a mask. Half the time I'm terrified what others will think about me and because of who my family is, there's always this expectation. Last girl I asked out," he said while picking up a blade of grass, then beginning to tear it into smaller pieces. "I made a real embarrassment of the whole thing. I've got this whole 'image' that I try and paint, but I end up just letting it dissolve half the time when I really like a girl. Merlin, next I'll be telling you my life story," he groaned, realizing he was going on and on about this with a girl he didn't really know.

Parvati turned a bit so she was facing him more and nodded. "Well, you shouldn't be scared of what people think of you. I mean, life is too short to just worry about what other people think." She said with a shrug. "I'm sure you didn't embarrass yourself. I mean how bad could it really have been?" She said and gave him a soft smile. "I don't know. I mean I'm the same I'm a complete different person when I am in a relationship compared to when I'm not. I think mostly everyone is like that." She said nodding. "So, you're not alone there." She laughed a bit when he said he was going to tell his life story next. "Well, I'm sure it's not as wild as my life story is." She said and wrinkled her nose a bit, laughing slightly.

"Ohhhhh trust me, it was bad," James said, shuddering slightly as he thought of his fail with asking Mandy out. "She dumped milk on my head during breakfast, in front of the whole hall. She then proceeded to push me away from her, causing me stumble off the bench and land on my arse. Last time I use a pick up line involving a machette and a goat." He was relieved to hear that he wasn't quite alone... that everyone sort of changed who they were when trying to impress others. "Wild life story, huh?" he asked with a grin, leaning back slightly to get comfortable. "Do I even want to know?"

Parvati's jaw literally dropped as he told the story about the girl that dumped milk on him. "Oh my gosh! That's terrible! I would never do that even if you used a terrible pick up line on me.." She said and gave him a soft smile. She gave him a questionable look. "I don't know. It's pretty crazy." She said, she could tell him about all her wild adventures, that she had a twin, and that she has a super over protective big brother.

"Well, I suppose I deserved it a little bit," he said with a sheepish smile. He was sort of annoying prat when it came to Mandy. Good thing he was over that meanie butt though. "Oh, so now you don't think I can handle it? Huh, and here I was thinking that I was a pretty composed and relaxed kind of guy. Rather non-judgmental too."

Parvati smiled at him and shrugged. "I don't know if you can handle it. I mean, maybe. It's a really intense story." She said and laughed slightly. "Except not really at all. It's actually pretty boring."

James couldn't help but give a small smile. "Well, at least talk for a bit so that I can at least listen to your sexy voice." He paused for a minute, realizing what he said, then shook his head. "Sorry. See that? I can't help with the flattery. It's like this uncontrollable reflex."

Parvati grinned at him. "It's cool. I mean, I get it, My voice is just overly sexy, right?" She said with a smirk and laughed a bit. "I totally get you though. I'm the same most of the time. I feel likes it's impossible for me to not flirt with an attractive guy."

"Yes, it's extremely sexy," he replied with a wide grin. He supposed that some comments were just extremely uncontrollable. He couldn't help it and he was glad that he found someone very much so able to relate. "I think your getting away from the topic, trying to get me off track from what we were talking about. Come on Parvati, what's so bad about your life story?"

Parvati shook her head. "No, Of course I'm not trying to get you off topic." She said with a large smirk. "Nothings really bad about it." She said with a shrug. "It's just not your average life story." She said nodding. "It really isn't interesting though at all. Quite boring really."

Neville apologizes for the small lame post as it is almost 4am and she is tired.

"All I'm getting is that it's a boring, not interesting, not average life story," he said before sighing dramatically. "Once again I think you're trying to digress. Seems like you've got skeletons in that closet and you're not quite willing to share them. No bother, we've all done things we aren't too proud of. When I was twelve, I broke my brother's broom in a raging fit of anger. I think that was the maddest I've ever see my dad."

Its okay. I wasn't awake really all day except for at school so yeah.

Parvati's eyes widened a bit when he said be broke his brothers broom. "So you're dad was in a rage and it was the maddest he's ever been?" She said nodding. "Dang. That must of sucked." She noted. "I probably would have ran if I did something like that." She said with a light laugh. "Let my parents cool down, you know? Before facing the yelling. My sister would be angry if I broke her broom." She said nodding. "Me? I don't see how it's a big deal I mean, why are brooms so great? Like why does it matter if it's expensive or not? Don't they all fly the same?" She asked, because Parvati was a broom flying virgin.
