Ack. Don't know how much time I have before we leave, but ah well. AAAAND question...you know our plan for outing the whole wolfy thing? we could just use this instead...like when they're by the fireplace or something. I doubt they'll want to stay in their damp shirts...*blinks* We could just say that the full moon was a few days ago, which is why he's okay by now yet there might be like one or two bandages on his arm or something. Not his stomach now obviously cause he'd be wincing a lot right now. XD

"Me too..." Remus knows this is something they should be worrying about, but he really doesn't want to move either. "Maybe we should go inside for a bit." He's currently too cold to move though. Oh dear. They're going to be stuck there. Haha.

Jack makes a super effort and forces himself to move, standing and pulling Remus to his feet too. "I think a warm fire would be the thing to do," he says, heading back inside for Amethyst's post.

Bea skipped down to the grounds and into a little grove of apple trees. She stopped in the middle of the clearing and stared down at her boots, wiggling her toes inside them. Normally she'd be barefoot or at least in sandals, but the snow wasn't really conducive for that kind of footwear... or lack there of. It did mean scarves though, she thought happily, unwinding it from her neck and twirling around with it. They were to much fun.

Ted walked into the clearing and saw Bea swirling her scarf, "Hi Bea. How's it going?" He crunched his way through the snow over to her. "What're you doing out here?"

Bea stopped twirling abruptly causing her to wobble a bit. Luckily, it only took a second or two of arm flailing for her to regain her balance. "Oh. Hey Ted," she said with a grin. "Nothing much. Just. Having some fun," she said pulling the scarf quickly back over her shoulders. "What are you up to this fine wintery evening?" she asked.

He smiled and leant down to pick up some snow, "Well I was thinking of making a snowman and it's much more fun to make one with a friend. Would you like to work with me?" He cast a charm on his knees and knelt in the snow, slowly packing more of it together.

"Oooh! That sounds like a great idea," Bea exclaimed, her eyes lighting up with excitement. She didn't bother with a spell like Ted, but just plopped right into the snow and started scooping it into another ball. "Do you want to do the bottom section and I'll do the middle? Then we can do the head together," she suggested, still piling snow onto her clump.

"Yeah that sounds great!" His snowball was growing in size now and he started rolling it slowly and carefully, making sure to pack the sides as he went. Slowly it grew bit by bit, still no where near as big as it needed to be. "So Bea what have you been up to lately?"

Bea hummed a bit as she continued packing snow together. "I haven't done much since it was break. I did talk to Molly a little bit. Mostly about baking. We were going to go down to the kitchens and bake together, but that didn't happen," she said, a bit rambly. "What did you do over holiday?" she asked. "You went home, right?"

"Oh you know Molly? We baked together back in autumn. She's an amazing cook. Yeah I went home and catered to my family for a week. It was great seeing everyone again. Did your twin stay here with you? Nikki right?" Ted stood up now to roll his ball around.

"Yeah. We both stayed here this year. Mum and Dad decided to go on holiday in Switzerland this year and she and I didn't want to go," she explained as she continued adding to her snowball which was just bigger than her head at this point. "It sounds like you had fun. Is your family very big?"

Ted shook his head then shrugged, "Well it's really just mum, dad, grandma and I but then there's all my cousins. There are plenty of them." His ball was now almost the perfect size. He stopped moving it and positioned it and started smoothing it over, adding a little here and there.

Hey love. I'm going to read my bio text and sleep now I think. Continue this tomorrow Smile

[I was just thinking the same thing, but Econ not bio. I'll post then we can finish up tomorrow.]

Bea patted her snow sphere almost fondly as she coerced the flakes into sticking together and smoothing out nicely. "Oh cousins," she giggled. "We have a lot of those too. Usually we have a big family get together over Christmas. Yours sounded nice though. Not a lot of family drama I hope?" she commented. "I think this is just about ready to stack," she added, sizing her handy work up with her eyes.

Ted shook his head, "No drama that couldn't be solved by more food and a rousing game of scrabble." Because that is actually how dilemmas are solved by my family... food and a game. Winner is right. Ted made sure the top of his ball was smooth and ready then walked over to her and put his hands under one side of hers, "Okay, ready? Slowly does it," and they lifted it over to put on top of his.

Bea helped him ease the snowball up until it was nicely balanced atop the base, exhibiting uncharacteristic caution. She didn't want to mess up her creation; this it serious business. However she couldn't help but let out a little squeal of joy when she stepped back to look at their progress. "We're halfway there!" she chirped excitedly. "How 'bout you make the head and I'll find us some things for his- or her- face," she suggested, letting her head tip to the side as she waited for his response.

Ted nodded, "Sounds like a plan. You pick him or her, I don't mind." He started gathering up more snow to make a head and rolled it around as Bea hunted for sticks and stones. Eventually he had the perfect sized ball and carefully picked it up and balanced it on the top of their creation. Perfect. He didn't think he had ever made a better snowman. "Okay Bea, what have you got?"

Bea padded around in the snow for only a few minutes to find all she needed. She grabbed a few big twigs from under the trees and dug through a bit of snow to find a handful of pebbles and two slightly larger stones before returning to Ted. "Got all his parts," she piped as she arrived next to him. "Here. You do these," she said, handing him the sticks. She arranged the stones on the snowman's face, using the little pebbles for the mouth and the stones as the eyes.

Ted took the sticks from her and put them into the snowman as arms, adjusting them then packing them in neatly to make sure they fit okay. He took a step back and looked at the finished product, "It still needs something!" He pulled his scarf from around his neck and tied on the yellow and black. "There we go, perfect."

[Idea thief! Bea was going to do that. Haha.]

Bea smiled at their handiwork. "Fun well done," she announced. She said fun because this was definitely not a job, which implies work and usually not fun things, and because it rhymed. She grinned over at her building partner and gave him a goofily formal bow. "Thank you kindly good sir for joining me in this endeavour," she said dramatically, but added a little wink at the end, ruining the mock seriousness.

Ted grinned and bowed back, "Twas a pleasure working with you milady." He offered her his arm, "Might I escort you back inside?" When she accepted he walked her back into the common room and gave her a hug before heading off to bed where Tam will go now. <3 Night.

Bea accepted graciously and bobbed alongside Ted up to the castle. "This was fun," she commented before he hugged her and they went to their separate dorms. <3 Night

Luna is sitting here under the tree. It's kind of cold but she doesn't mind. She's just sitting here and looking off into space, wondering what all her friends are up to because she hasn't talked to them in a while. Yeah, all three of her friends.
