[My bad. Ooh good luck! <3]

"Hogsmeade is, like, so cliché," Molly announces with a shrug. Of course if Arthur had taken her there she probably would've loved it anyway. But picnic > Hogsmeade. She looks around again, taking another chance to admire the pretty setting. "It is really pretty," she murmurs, then turns back to Arthur with a bright smile. "Yeah, sure. Um.... well, not Ted because he, like, fails at champagne provision. Ooh, let's be super self-involved and toast to us because we're totally worth it!" she suggests.

"Sounds good," Arthur says, laughing at the Ted bit, for Ted clearly forgot what his friend was like when nervous and excitable. And it's true, picnics are much more fun. You're outside, there's more to do, and Molly really seems to like it. "So, to you, who looks absolutely gorgeous even when covered with champagne," Arthur toasts, extending his glass toward Molly's.

Molly is laughing along with Arthur, but the laughs die on her lips when she hears Arthur's toast. For the first time in a long time, a blush creeps up and settles high on her cheeks and she looks down, smiling and disarmed by the compliment. "Thank you," she says in an uncharacteristically quiet, but no less sincere, voice. She looks up again and grins, twisting the moment into a joke to cover up how disarmed she really is. "And to you, overcoming all the odds to provide champagne!" She touches her glass to Arthur's raised one, and takes a sip.

Arthur watches blushes, and blushes because he feels guilty that he made her blush. Teresa then slaps Arthur in the head because that was actually a good thing, it meant she was flattered by your toast. Back at the date, Arthur smiles at Molly's toast and takes a sip of his own champagne. It's quite bubbly, but tasty; the last time he had champagne was at a cousin's wedding. Usually when Billy snuck him and Ron alcohol it was either mead or Firewhiskey. "Thanks," Arthur says, blushing and smiling.

Molly takes another sip of champagne, willing the heat in her cheeks to dissipate. Jeez, at this rate they're going to end up having tomato-babies. She carefully sets her glass down, making sure it's far enough away that if there are any more mishaps, her dress will not suffer anymore. Smiling, she turns back to Arthur and the picnic basket. "So, like, what's in store for today? I'm totally not used to having other people worry about preparing meals, so this is kind of nice!" Then she remembers that Arthur is a terrible cool and she pulls a little 'I don't know how to ask this delicately so I'm just going to blunder right in' face. "Erm, youdidn'tmakethisyourselfdidyou?" Nice, Mol. Real tactful. Inner!Hermione is shaking her head in disbelief.

"Oh no, don't worry about that; I'm not stupid enough to trust myself in a kitchen. Ted actually made all the food; I figured he was a good cook, and he wanted to help," Arthur says quickly, not wanting to scare Molly away with the image of Arthur-prepared food. Arthur opens the basket, pulling out a container of some delicious potato salad along with plates, napkins, and utensils. "Wow, there is so much food in here!" Arthur marvels, looking at how tightly packed everything was into the basket.

Molly giggles at how quickly Arthur rushes to assure her that he did not prepare the food. "Oh, neat," she says, leaning forward to take a peek into the basket. "Wow. I guess Ted was really, like, in the zone or something." Not being one to just sit and wait for others to do the work when there is food to be served, Molly moves so that she's kneeling by the picnic basket, a strand of still-damp red hair falling forwards as she helps unpack the many containers and spread them around the blanket. She smiles across at Arthur, because she appreciates how much trouble he's gone to for her to have all this organised.

Arthur watches Molly unpack everything; he doesn't look to see what's in the containers for he's too busy looking at her hair - which looks even better slightly damp, if possible. He opens another one of the containers to find some kind of yummy looking chicken. "This all looks amazing," Arthur says. "Ready to dig in?" he asks, not wanting to the rude pig who just starts digging into everything.

"It does look good," agrees Molly, deciding this is not the occasion for her to critique everything Ted has so generously made for them in an attempt to assure herself and the world that she could do better; she just wants to sit back and enjoy the delicious food and spend some time with Arthur. "Sure thing," she says, opening some more containers full of other salads and deli foods that Mya can't think of because she's a bit braindead. "So how are your brothers doing?" she asks as she picks a few things for her plate.

Arthur grabs himself a plate of food. "My brothers are pretty good. Billy's getting ready to have the opening of his bar soon; he's waiting for summer to begin so I can be there for opening night," Arthur says. "Ron is so lucky he's not of age yet; our parents won't let him go cause it's seventeen and over. And I unfortunately turned seventeen in March. And Ron's not bad himself; he's getting ready for OWLs, so he's been short-tempered lately. How's Alice and the brothers going?" Arthur cringes at his mention of brothers and other scary prospects like Gideon beating the shit out of him.

Molly tilts her head to the side. "You think it's really going to be, like, that painful for you?" She pauses, taking a couple of small bites of potato salad as she listens to Arthur, nodding along to show she's listening. She dabs at her mouth with a napkin when she swallows. "Oh yeah, Ali has OWLs coming up too but she's totally not one to stress over exams or whatever so I think she's doing alright. Fabian's still home, but he's doing good too and will sit his NEWTS and all no dramas. Gideon's the same as ever, I guess. Well, I think so," she says with a tiny frout, because it feels like Gideon is avoiding her lately.

"Yeah. Only because Billy will keep trying to hook me up with other...men. He's under the impression that I'm secretly in the closet or something. Which I'm not, of course," Arthur says quickly. Billy's theory was that since Arthur hadn't had a girlfriend yet, that he had to like boys. Which clearly wasn't true, considering the Molly excitement. "But otherwise I'm very proud of him. The place is supposed to look pretty good, with the cheetah print walls and all. And that's weird about Gideon." But then again, when your brother isn't in his real body...but we won't be telling Arthur that.

"Oh wow. Well maybe I could send Fabian along as, like, a distraction or whatever to keep you out of the line of fire," Molly offers, pulling a face. She's fairly certain Arthur is straight because, well, he likes her. Remembering that, almost as if she's forgotten amongst the flurry of preparing for a first date, she pauses and smiles. Arthur likes her. She doesn't have to do anything to impress him, or worry about what he's thinking, or any of that usual horrible first date stuff. She gets to just be herself and have a good time. "Well it sounds like he's done heaps to be proud of anyway. And yeah, it's just weird. Usually we have time to at least say hi to each other, but now it's just like he's never in the usual places he hangs out and he hasn't sent me a note or anything for a while now. I don't like it," she confesses, and Mya wonders whether or not she should ever bother filling Molly in on the whole body-swap deal.

"Maybe he's just worried about Fabian or something," Arthur says reassuringly, for that seems like a reasonable explanation. "Try owling him maybe, or bring him food or something. Food is always a good thing in Arthur's mind, especially when made by Molly. He takes a bite of some type of delicious salad. "This food is amazing," Arthur says. "I wish I cook this well. At least I've improved since my last few times in the kitchens with you."

"Maybe. I'll go look for him later," she says, because that sounds like something amusing for Mya to do when she's bored. "Just to, like, satisfy myself that he's eating enough or whatever," she adds, trying for nonchalance instead of the slight sting of missing her family. She giggles, tossing her hair back and reaching for some ham. "So you're, like, managing to not burn the toast now? That's awesome, Arthur! We'll keep at it, before you know it you'll be graduating to 2 minute noodles!"

"That would be awesome. And I didn't burn toast the other morning when I made myself a small breakfast - just toast and jam, nothing fancy," Arthur adds, for he doesn't want Molly to worry for the safety of the Hogwarts kitchens. "And two minute noodles sound fun - what makes them two minutes exactly?" Arthur is an idiot who does not realize that two minutes is equal to the cooking time. *Teresa sighes, because she loves to cook and can't understand how someone who lives her head could be so terrible at it.*

Mya wishes Molly would crawl out of her head and do a little more RL cooking on occasion. Or at least clean up after Mya when she does, that would be neat.
"Nothing wrong with toast and jam," says Molly, for whom making a small breakfast involves about four hot dishes. She is glad for the safety of the Hogwarts kitchens deep down, though. "Oh! Two minute noodles are noodles that you, like, pour boiling water on and then in two minutes they're ready," she explains, grinning. "They come with chicken or beef flavours mostly, and these weird little freeze-dried like vegetables that sort of come back to normal colours when you put them in too."

Arthur's eyes widen at the idea that such things actually existed. Teresa then shows him a packet of Ramen in order to unconfuse his brain; it's still confused, however, so Teresa gives up. "That sounds so amazing! Where did you find such things? And how do they get the flavor in the noodles?" Arthur asks excitedly, wondering when he can get some of these noodles.

Molly giggles. "The noodles, like, don't have any flavour all on their own, you add the flavouring to the water and that's how you get the taste. Sort of." Her nose wrinkles and she shakes her head a little. "They come from Muggle supermarkets but I would totally not let someone actually eat them because they're, like, the food of poor starving students and that is so not cool anymore," she announces. Arthur imagines all the amazing dishes Molly would make with them, and Teresa can imagine Molly and Arthur sitting down to enjoy some delicious meal Molly cooked up with them after they first were married.

Molly greams, blushing a little as her ego is flattered. "Well, sure I could. Like, a better sauce and some real vegetables would be super simple. Or a two-minute-noodle-casserole," she says, pulling a 'hmm' face as she picks at her lunch and plots how to make two minute noodles edible. Mya wonders WTF would happen if she tried to serve a two minute noodle casserole for dinner...

I get the feeling that Molly's two minute noodle casserole would be buttloads better than Mya's. >.>

Molly giggles and reaches for a strawberry. "Freeze dried. It's where they do something weird to food to make it, like, not go off for ages and ages or whatever, I don't really know." She tilts her head to the side, thinking as she bites into the strawberry and chews thoughtfully. "Muggles have, like, heaps of super quick and convenient foods because they can just chuck stuff in a microwave. It's totally never as good as properly cooked stuff though, so whatever."

"That's still pretty amazing though, that they make easy to prepare food for idiots like me. I mean, they definitely wouldn't be as good your food, but they'd still be better than anything I could make," Arthur says before he is distracted by Molly eating a strawberry; strawberries are very attractive fruit that match the color of Molly's hair. He absentmindedly grabs a strawberry and just plays with it in his hands.

Molly licks the juice from the strawberry from her lip and takes a sip of champagne. "Mmm," she says in pleasant surprise, because Pretty Woman has taught us all that strawberries bring out the flavour in champagne, no? She smiles across at Arthur. "Well it's comforting to know that if you're ever out on your own you can always, like, live of Lean Cuisine and microwave pizza and junk to keep alive. Might want to take up jogging, though." She pauses, shakes her head, and reaches for another strawberry. "No, I totally couldn't live with that. I'd have to just, like, add you to the list of people I have to feed because I wouldn't be able to stand them not being fed properly!"
