Re: Under the Trees
Viktor smirked because he likes Gideon a lot already. "Vell, it's hard to compete vith somevon like a Prewett," he chuckled. Viktor really wants pizza now. "So, you have another date vith her. That'll be fun. Lily's an awesome person. I'm sure you two vill have a lot of fun on your next date," he said with a big smile because he's happy for the brother of his BFF, even though he really misses her and boywatching right now.

Re: Under the Trees
Caradoc is here, a few days after the incident with Viktor in the showers, and well after the post I am writing for Caradoc right now because I forgot to write it ahead of time, genius that I am. Anyway, here he is, around dusk, with his guitar, playing this song, and singing to himself while he continued to think about all he's been thinking about which I will post I swear. -cue Fabian-
ANYWAY THAT IS A RAMBLY POST, AND HERE HE IS, PLAYING/SINGING THIS:

Re: Under the Trees
Fabian is just walking around before hearing some awesome music and recognizing Caradoc's voice. He stops and questions whether or not he should interrupt before deciding to chill out behind a tree until Caradoc is done.
Re: Under the Trees
Caradoc, who has a tendency to play with his eyes closed, opened them and nearly fell over when he saw that Fabian was standing right there. "Fabian," he said breathlessly, putting down his guitar and putting on a smile for him, waving him over. "Hey dude, how's it going?" he asked, inviting him to sit on the grass beside him, wondering how much of his song Fabian had heard.
Re: Under the Trees
Fabian laughs. "I figured I ought to wait until you were done... Or until you saw me. Whichever came first." He plops down on the grass next to Caradoc and grins. "It sounded really nice. Hope you don't mind me creeping," he says as he flips his hair out of his eyes. "I've been fine. I've been sleeping a lot, which sounds boring, but my dreams are kind of on crack, so, it's actually been kind of fun." He looked at Caradoc. "How about you? What amazing things have you been doing?"
Re: Under the Trees
Caradoc smiled as he watched Fabian flip his hair, noting how gorgeous that hair flip is, because it really is fucking fabulous. "I don't mind," he said chuckling. "I've been okay-- and really, nothing too interesting, for once, though I did get to punch some dick in the face, which is always a plus, when the dick in question is in dire need of punching," he said with a wink, leaning back against the tree. Oh, and you know, boning Viktor in the showers and let me tell you, that ass is like the definition of 'amazing thing.' Wow, I'm an ASSHOLE!
Re: Under the Trees
Fabian smiles. "I would normally say that it isn't a good thing to punch someone in the face... But I can only assume that you, being the totally nice person you are and all, felt he deserved it?" He asked, crossing one leg over the other. "Who was this guy, anyway?"
Re: Under the Trees
"Some jerk named Sirius Black, he's in your house. He was assaulting my friend, Pansy-- he was going to hit a girl!" he said in disgust, frowning at Fabian. "Like, what kind of low life actually does that shit? It was awful. And he's messed with some of my other friends before, too. I don't hit someone unless they've got it coming, I swear."
Re: Under the Trees
Fabian frowned. "Well, in that case, he totally did deserve it. I think that anyone that was going to hit anyone for no reason kind of deserves it, you know? It's kind of an asshole move." And then Cissa gets distracted by Drake and Josh because that was an awesome show, yes it was. "I think I've heard of him before. No idea where--" EVEN THOUGH HE SHOULD HAVE BECAUSE ALICE AND HIM HAVE SOMETHING GOING ON, RIGHT? "--but I bet he's a poopface." And then he uses the insults of a third grader. Sick, Fabian.
Re: Under the Trees
"Yeah, pretty much-- actually, didn't he and your sister have a thing going on a while ago? Molly mentioned it to me, him and Alice, I thought it was, not recently though," he said, shrugging. "Whatever-- he's hot enough, even if he is a dick. But what've you been doing? Been blowing bubbles or building blanket forts and lego castles without me?" he asked jokingly, running his hand through his own hair, while wondering what it would be like to touch Fabian's silky locks.
Re: Under the Trees
"Probably," Fabian said with a chuckle. "You see, Molly and Alice have this belief that I'm going to kill every one of their boyfriends. Which," he stopped laughing. "I totally will, if they ever hurt my siblings." He shrugged as Caradoc mentioned how hot he was, and ignored the weird twinge of jealousy in his chest as Caradoc spoke. "I don't usually notice how attractive people are--Well, I do sometimes, I suppose..." He looked away from Caradoc, a bit pink in the cheeks. He should probably stop blushing so much. "Of course not!" He said, almost offended Caradoc would even suggest such a thing. "How could I ever cheat on my bubble-blanket-buddy?" He smiled.
Re: Under the Trees
Caradoc watched Fabian flush again as he looked at Rad, and even then, he couldn't help but smile, remembering that Fabian did find him attractive-- I mean, it wasn't as if he didn't know he was gorgeous, but it's a different thing, to be reminded that the man he harbored all these feelings for-- oh, yes, there was no denying they existed-- found him physically appealing. The smile turned into a grin, though, as he was reassured that he would not be left heartbroken by his bubble-blanket-buddy, and he laughed at Fabian's offended expression. "That's good to hear, then, Fabian. You know, it's been a while since we had our bubbley fun-- and I think I've got some bubbles here," he said, rummaging through his bag until he pulled out a bottle of bubbles. "Here," he said, holding the bubble wand out in front of Fabian's pretty pink lips, waiting for him to make some bubbles.
Re: Under the Trees
Fabian grinned when he saw the bubble wand out and blew as hard as he could. Only, the problem with that was that when you blow bubbles too hard, they don't actually end up becoming bubbles. One small, lone bubble drifted out of the wand and Fabian waved it goodbye. "Poor little bubble," he said. "All alone in the world. He's just a boy! They grow up so fast!" He said, fake-sobbing into his hands. "Now," he said, snapping up to look at Caradoc with a grin. "I remember last time, we had guitar, yes? So do we get musical accompaniment for this bubble blowing?" He said with his best 'Please, Caradoc? Look at how cute and innocent and deserving I am! All I want it to be graced by your wonderful music!' face.
Re: Under the Trees
Caradoc burst out laughing, hugging Fabian and comforting him over the loss of his dear, sweet bubble. "Don't worry, babe, all bubbles have to grow up and leave home someday. I'm sure he'll never forget his daddy Fabian," he teased, patting Fabian on the back as he let go. "Oh goodness, now I've got to play on command for you? What if I wanted to blow bubbles? You know, even manly men like to blow bubbles," he joked, trying not to cave at that adorable, innocent, pleading face, with Fabian's bright, beautiful eyes looking up at him. "Oh, come on, looking at me like that just isn't fair, it's gotta be impossible to say no to that look-- oh, fuck. See, I can't say no to that-- oh, fine," he said, groaning, and ignoring the butterflies in his stomach, when Fabian looked at him like that; it was so damn naive, so innocent, and innocent in that almost Lolita-esque way, sending a shiver down Rad's spine, as he took advantage of the moment and looked away as he grabbed his guitar, and took out his pick. "But now I don't know what to play." Anything but what my heart wants me to play will likely do.

Fabian leaned back on the heels of his hands with a content smirk. "Whatever you'd like to play, really." He said, not bothering to hide the smugness that had crept into his voice. He loved that he could make Caradoc do what he wanted, even if it was only playing the guitar. Only play the guitar? He's amazing. There is no only about it. "Honestly, you could sing about a tree and it would sound honest and sincere and amazing." Sound a little more desperate, why don't you. He thought bitterly. He already pities you enough to want to pretend to be friends, might as well sound a little more lovesick, eh? Fabian cleared his throat, ridding his mind of he internal battle for the time being. "You could play the one you were practicing earlier, if you'd like. I felt sorta bad interrupting, after all."
Re: Under the Trees
Caradoc chuckled at Fabian, fighting himself trying not to think about how adorable Fabian was, even if he knew he was abusing his cuteness and ability to make Caradoc do just about whatever he asked of him-- honestly, Fabian could have asked him to do the macarena in the middle of McGoogles' class, and if he gave him the puppy dog eyes long enough, Rad would've done it. "A tree? I don't think I've ever written a song about a tree, now that I think about it-- maybe I'll write one sometime, just for you," he teased, chortling at Fabian. At his suggestion though, Caradoc quickly paled and shook his head no, biting down hard on his tongue-- no, I can't, the last thing I should do right now is sing about you again, at least in front of you, I don't want to mess this up, I don't want to lose you as a friend, and I really don't want a crazy midget redhead showing up and ripping off my balls. "You weren't interrupting, silly, I was happy to see you, but-- uh, I just-- I'd really rather not, alright? It was... it was kind of a personal song, okay, I swear, it's not that I don't want to but-- it just isn't a good idea," he mumbled, hoping Fabian wouldn't press the matter as he glanced into his friend's eyes. Shit, shit, think of something, what the hell can I play, that doesn't make me think about how I feel about you? Oh, I've got it. "I know! I could play you the song I wrote right before the start of semester, the one I wrote on the flight over here, if you want. It's not an exactly exciting song, I wrote it thinking of my mom, actually," he laughed, thinking it was a song that would keep him far away from letting his emotions get the better of him.
Re: Under the Trees
Fabian blinked. "Oh, I'm sorry," he said. He hadn't known it had been personal. Imagine if it had been about his dad, or some other deep, tear-jerking thought? Or maybe about another guy. He thought, jealous of whoever the subject of the song might have been. Being as it was, he decided not to press the matter. He didn't want to hear a very deep song... Or one about another guy. "That would be nice!" He smiled. "Well, if you want to, that is. I mean, I don't want to like, force you or anything, but you know, I thought 'hey, Caradoc has his guitar, and he's really good at it, and I like to hear him play, so maybe he should.' But I totally get it if you just want to blow bubbles or something, too. Or maybe both at the same time? That would be awesome. You'd strum, and BAM! Bubbles." He sat up and tucked his knees in, sitting criss-cross applesauce. "Or I'll just listen and you can play whatever." He smiled. He was smooth, yes he was.
Re: Under the Trees
Caradoc burst out laughing, loving how fucking adorable Fabian was, and he forced himself to suppress the urge to plant a kiss on his forehead, and dealt with just smiling at him affectionately, as he toyed with the guitar pick in his hand. "I can blow bubbles after, I suppose, and besides, I think you just want me to play so you can hog the bubble wand," he joked, his blue eyes sparkling in the dim light of the moon overhead. "I don't mind playing, especially not for you. I'm not sure if I like the song or not myself, really, perhaps you can tell me what you think? Well, here goes," he said, and he plays this song that I'm too lazy to type him out singing, so yeah, he's just gonna sing and play this song. When he finishes, he smiles up at Fabian, and gives him a questioning look, waiting for his reaction.

Fabian smirked. "You're totally right. But I have an excuse. It is pink, after all," he said, grabbing the bubble wand. "And pink is the most boss color in the entire world." He twirled the bubble wand in between his thumb and index finger as he listened intently. He wondered, for a moment, how he was so lucky to have Caradoc... Even if they were only friends. "Wow," he breathed after Caradoc was done. "Why are you so incredible? It's very unfair to unmusically talented people like me that you should hog all of the talent. You know, share the wealth." He smiled. "But that was seriously cool. I liked it a lot. Has your mom heard it? Being that she was the inspiration for it and all... What's your mom like, actually? She must be, like, awesome in order to have raised you." He grinned, still playing with the bubble wand.
[And that took WAYY too long to write, sorry. And I have to go now. Sweett. Not actually. I really just want to rip somebody's eyeballs out. fjsdhfsdf. BUT YEAH I'LL TRY TO RESPOND LATER ILY.]
Re: Under the Trees
"Hey now, can't be criticizing me for hogging all the talent, when you clearly hog all the beauty," he teased, though he did mean it, and he grinned widely as he looked at Fabian. "No, she hasn't. I wrote it on the way up to London this fall, and I haven't seen her since, being at Hogwarts and all. She's... she's not very interesting, really. She's quiet. She's where I got the blond hair, though she has brown eyes, not blue ones, I got those from my dad. She doesn't do a lot-- I mean, she takes care of the house and all, but it's small, so there's not a lot to do. She's really overprotective, doesn't like things to change-- not a fun person basically. I don't really talk about her much. But my dad, I could talk about him forever. He's someone worth talking about," he said with an affectionate smile, as he glanced down at his guitar. "This was his," he said softly, running his fingers down the neck of the instrument, glad to have something to focus on, that wasn't Fabians' beautiful face, or his beautiful hair, or his beautiful smile.
Re: Under the Trees
Fabian was happy when Caradoc's eyes averted to his guitar, as his cheeks were nice and red after being complimented. It's just the way things work. Getting a compliment, brushing hands, or just getting a smile from someone who isn't Rad is one thing, but when it is, it suddenly becomes something to blush over. "She sounds really sweet. Molly is always telling us how hard maintaining a household is, so props to her." He watched as Caradoc's face seemed to light up at mention of his dad. "What was he like? I mean, personality wise, and all."
Re: Under the Trees
"I guess sweet is one way to look at her," he mumbled under his breath, before remembering he was actually talking to Fabian. He brightened at his question and toyed with the strings of his guitar, as he recalled the memories in question. "He's great! You know, in all those years, despite what he was doing, he was always smiling, when I saw him-- always happy, to see me. It was a wonderful feeling, every single time. He liked to laugh a lot, always cracking jokes, even when things were serious or depressing, like he was going to have to go away for a while, or he wasn't sure when he'd be getting home-- he made a lot more jokes around those times, actually. And it was always when he was coming home, not if, you know? He had this great, positive outlook on things, and I try to keep that, too, 'cause it was one of the things I just loved about him, so damn much. He liked sports but because he was so busy, he never really knew what was going on, so I'd read all the sports pages for him and cut out the headlines, so when he'd come back I could fill him in, and stuff. He didn't get a chance to see my band play too often, but he was there for our first show, I almost didn't play, because I didn't think he was coming, and I got scared, but he showed up, and it was great. He was at the last show I ever played, too, actually. You would have loved him, he's so brilliant, he was always so good, at everything, and I mean everything-- he was great," he said happily, before realizing he was rambling, and he chuckled, stopping himself. "But enough about me. What's your family like? Your parents? All Molly's told me is that we should never let them cook, ever."
Re: Under the Trees
Fabian watched on as Caradoc spoke, his own eyes wide as he pictured Mr. Dearborn. It was as if he had met the man or something. He felt connected to him, anyway, by seeing the way Caradoc spoke about him. "He sounds brilliant." He said simply, a smile spreading across his face. "I really wish I could have met him. He sounds... Awesome. Like, to the twentieth power. That cool." He blinked. "Well, you know two thirds of my family already, but otherwise, we're pretty normal." And, of course, a Prewett's definition of normal was far different from the actual definition. "Let's see, my parents are both very nice. They're not too parent-y, though. I mean, I never have anything to complain about, as they aren't overbearing or uncaring. Although, I think Molly was inspired to learn how to cook when she ate some of my mom's pancakes. We used them as throwing disks and broke my neighbors' window. That's how bad they were. Of course, I've always kinda have had a bottomless pit for a stomach, so I didn't know that food wasn't supposed to taste like that until Mol's cooking came along." He grinned. "My dad's always been a bit more low-maintenance than my mom. He loved to give us piggy back rides all the time, and he had the best voices when he read a book to us, but my mom told the best made-up stories. He would always be in the basement, working on some mysterious project, and Mum would be reading, or playing piano, or gardening. They're chill people--but they're incredibly loud. Not a surprise, I suppose, right?" He chuckled. "I really don't think I could have gotten a better set of parents, if I do say so myself. You'd like them."
