Viktor is glad he came to Hogwarts, where he can be surrounded by awesome people like the Prewetts and they can all just soak up each other's awesomeness. He grins as Gideon talks about his date. Just like he thought; smooth with the ladies, just like Viktor is smooth with the men. "I'm sure she had an awesome time. Who vos it, if you don't mind me asking?"

Gideon is glad Viktor came to Hogwarts too, because he is a pretty cool dude. "Lily Evans is her name - have you met her? We nicked some sugar from Honeydukes to send to her sourpuss sister." He adds, chuckling.

James Potter," he said, smirking as he recalled his conversation with Remus about James' pizza poetry. "Looks like you've got something that he doesn't." ~~And you're not in the 'Can't Get Laid' dorm.~~

"Yeah," Gideon agrees, "pretty nice, indeed. And pretty stunning. I've heard about Potter, but I haven't met him yet - probably a good thing. Apparently he asks her out almost every day... Maybe he's missing his sense of decorum and tact? Apart from not being as attractive and awesome as a Prewett, of course." He says, nodding again and giving Viktor a wink for good measure. He's been doing the nodding quite a lot today. Oh well.

Nothing wrong with a strong nod every now and then. Viktor just hopes Gideon's neck isn't sore from all the nodding. "I only talked to him a few times around the dorm," he shrugs. "He's..." Viktor decides not to finish that sentence because he doesn't know James well enough to judge him, really. "Lily's better off vith you," he says, deciding that this is a good thing to say.

Gideon's neck is already quite strong from carrying that over-inflated, slightly egotistical head around, so I think he's good. "Why thanks, man! Now, I'm beginning to think I don't want to meet him - I have this tiny sneaking suspicion he's not going to like me..." He says with another smirk and a hair flip for good measure.

Gideon snickers a little. "Well, that's one good point, I suppose. So, one tick in the Potter column, and how many for the Prewett? Well, more than one, which is the important part. And besides, she asked me out after the date too. So I even get to see her again, and not only of my own volition!" He grins. Life is good right now for Gideon Prewett.
