Re: The Courtyard
Scorpius couldn't think of any way to reply to that. All he could do was nod numbly. "See you later," he said gently, exhaling loudly when she left. He then rested his elbows on his knees and face in his hands for a moment, thinking over the entire situation. It definitely had gone better than he had expected and he was pleased that she hadn't killed or cursed him. After a moment, he stood up and then made his way to his dorm room.

Re: The Courtyard
Millicent was coming out to go looking for the trail Draco had told her about. She wasn't in her running gear, she just wanted to see what the path was like. She sees Marcus laying on a bench and has to resist the urge to scream in excitement. She took a breath and calmly walks over. She gave his shoulder a little shake. "Hey Marcus!" She smiled widely.
Re: The Courtyard
Marcus waked up right when she touched his shoulder because he wasn't really sleeping sleeping, he was just kind of out of it. I assume you know the feeling because I am pretty sure everyone does. It's that feeling you get right before you fall asleep or right as you wake up. He smiles sleepily up at Millicent. "Well Hello there." He says with a smile.

Re: The Courtyard
She is still grinning like a loon. "What's up?" That was a bit anticlimactic, but she was happy to see him.
Re: The Courtyard
Marcus sat up on the bench and scooted over so she could sit down next to him. "Hmm, Whats up? Nothing really..." He said with a small shrug. "Just Quidditch, Classes, Sleeping, Eating, Breathing." He said nodding. "The usual."

Re: The Courtyard
She sat down and continued to smile at him. "Yeah, same here. Well except Quidditch of course. I guess studying can take the place of that. Yeah." She nodded.
Re: The Courtyard
Marcus smiled at her. "Yeah.....Studying...That doesn't really happen in my life." he said with a small shrug. "I don't find it really necessary."

Re: The Courtyard
She rolled her eyes a little. "I suppose I should start doing your homework for you. Don't want you to fail all your classes. So, do you have any plans for the night?"
Re: The Courtyard
Marcus looked up at her and smiled slightly. "Now...Would you really do that for me?" He asked raising an eyebrow. "Uhh, No...Nothing....Why?"

Re: The Courtyard
She shrugged. "If I had to, yes. And I was wondering if you wanted to like, hang or something tonight. I feel like I haven't seen you in a while."
Re: The Courtyard
"Well....I don't know. I mean....I COULD go back to my dorm and sleep or just go to the great hall and eat." he said, looking at her like she was crazy for wanting to do something. He was joking of course but who knew if she would know that.

Re: The Courtyard
She did not know he was joking. She looked down sadly. "Well, that's okay then. Some other time I guess." She stood up to walk away. She as so clueless.
Re: The Courtyard
Marcus blinked a few times. "You need to work on realizing when someone is joking and when someone isn't joking more..." he said with a small laugh.

Re: The Courtyard
She turned and looked at him. "What?" Finally she realized what he meant. "Oh! Ha ha. I get it. Sorry, I'm just..yeah. So, what do you want to do tonight?"
Re: The Courtyard
Marcus laughed and grinned at her. "Umm...I don't know. You pick." he said with a smile as he leaned back on the bench.

Re: The Courtyard
"Oh, um. We could get dinner? Or go for a walk. Maybe chill by the fire with some hot chocolate. I don't know. The possibilities are endless." She shrugged.
Re: The Courtyard
Marcus blinked at her a few times. "Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm." he said, dragging it out for quite a long time. "Well...You pick." he said nodding. "I always pick."

Re: The Courtyard
"Umm. Well. Are you hungry? Or would you rather just stay in the castle since it's getting colder?" She was horrible at deciding what to do.
Re: The Courtyard
He stared at her for about 60 seconds. "....I'm always hungry....." he said very seriously. "All guys are always hungry."

Re: The Courtyard
"So, you want to go eat?" She wasn't really dressed in her normal dinner attire. "I could always make someting too, in the kitchens."
Re: The Courtyard
"Ummm." he said as he stood up. "Its up to you. Do you want to go to Hogsmeade or do you want to cook?" he asked with a smile. "I mean...Since you would be the one cooking it's up to you." he said with a smile.

Re: The Courtyard
She thought for a moment. "I guess I don't really feel like cooking. Hogsmeade works for me, if that's what you want to do."
Re: The Courtyard
"Yeah." Marcus says with a smile. "I can't go like this though." he said looking down at his outfit. "I'd have to go change."
He looks like this right now. BTW.

-still finds him adorable-
"Yeah, me too." She looked down at her sweatshirt and torn jeans. "Um. Should we meet somewhere in like, a little while?"
