Faye runs out onto the grounds and into the fields because there are too many places in the castle that will make her think of Scorpius and that's the absolute last thing she needs. She bends into the fetal position and her hands clasp tightly behind the nape of her neck as she sobs. When she's finally decided she's done crying, she'll go back up to the castle, but she can't go in there like this. There was no way.

Remus and Kiora are here hanging out, cause they love spending time together and it's outside! Yay outside!!
And Remus has no idea that his awesome brother, Dean, is going to show up. They haven't seen each other in AGES, which is just terrible. TERRIBLE.

Dean comes strolling down, whistling a happy tune. He spots his brother who hasn't seen in FOREVER!!! He starts sprinting towards Remus, as soon as he sets Kiora down, and tackle hugs his brother. He yells out. "BROTHER! IT'S BEEN TOO LONG!! I'VE MISSED YOU!!!!"

Remus is watching Kiora pull up blades of grass and suddenly finds himself being tackled and shouted out. "BROTHER!" Remus grins and hugs Dean back tightly. Kiora shrieks at seeing her daddy being tackle hugged and tosses grass blades at Dean. "WHERE'VE YOU BEEN!? I HAVEN'T SEEN YOU IN AGES!!"

Dean climbs off his brother and sweeps Kiora up into a hug. "I know! I've been stuck studying for the stupid NEWTs! I can't believe how big you got!" He cooed at Kiora and nuzzled her cheek with his nose. "I've totally lost touch with a lot of people! I'm so sorry!"

"It's alright, Dean, I'm just glad to see you again!" Remus flails. Kiora lets out a tiny squeak as the guy who'd tackled her daddy sweeps her up into a hug. Remus laughs. "Kiora, you remember your Uncle Dean." Kiora places her hands on Dean's face, scrunching her own face up in concentration, then she lets out a happy "Dean!" She flails her tiny arms happily. "See! You do remember him!" Remus grins. "She's just started talking a tiny bit a few days ago. She's brilliant."

Dean stares at Kiora, shocked. "She..She spoke. She is the cleverest little girl ever! What was her first word?" He hugs her again. "How have you been?!" He can't believe how long it's been since they've seen each other.

Kiora decides now's a great time for a game of 'tug the ear's' and starts pulling on Dean's ear's. Remus doesn't really notice at the moment. "Her first word was 'daddy'!" he beams, "I've been well. There was a bit of a problem with a Slytherin a little bit ago," he twitches slightly, "but everything's gotten better since then. Other than that, things have been well. How about you?"

Dean lets Kiora play his ears. "That's great! I've been well. Really well actually. Which Slytherin was it?" He thought of the stupid blonde him and Neville pranked the other day, he smiled to himself. "Wish I was there to help you out, no matter what the situation was." He tickled Kiora's sides with a little "gouchy gouchy gooooo"

"I'm glad you've been doing well." Remus grins. "Well, it was that Dolohov guy. He's been a real jerk since the first I met him. We've had some fights before and I told him he should just leave us along but apparently he just couldn't get the hint. He hurt Hermione really bad." Kiora giggles as Dean tickles her sides and flails.

"He hurt Mya? Physically? You know, who do those Slytherin's think they are! They think they have the right to do whatever the hell.." He covered Kiora's ears. "Oopps, Sorry! Whatever the heck they want! It's infuriating!" He was NOT gonna turn into angry-black-man, but no one messes with his family. NOT COOL!

Remus nods, frowning. "I was furious. Some of those Slytherin's really need help or something." Kiora figures this is a game because other people have covered her ears before, so she covers Dean's ears with her tiny hands.

Dean chuckles at Kiora's little game. "Well aren't you a little cutey!" He booped her nose. "How's Mya doing now. I saw her when...I got...back." He didn't really want to bring up his impromptu departure from Hogwarts, where his brother then hunted him down.

Kiora giggles when Dean boops her nose and bops her hand against his nose. Then she grabs his hand and starts on her usual finger nomming activities. "Aww, Kiora, sweetie, must you nom on everyone's fingers?" Remus sighs, smiling. "Mya's doing better now. She's had a lot of support from all of us, and she's healed up. I was worried it'd take longer cause she kept wanting to hold Kiora, who would accidentally kick her bruised stomach from time to time. That definitely doesn't help the healing process." Remus remembers hunting his brother down, but he did that because he loves his brother. Yep.

He laughs as Kiora noms his hand. "She must be teething. Oh, I think I feel a tooth! Or, she just has really hard gums." And sighed sadly. "I'm so sorry I wasn't there to support you two. If I had known she was hurt. I would have been there in an instant. I would have watched Kiora for you too, and Dom could have helped. She loves babies." He shifted Kiora to rest on his other hip, she was getting so big!

Remus flails and smiles at Kiora. "She's going to have a really strong bite with some strong teeth when she gets older." He smiles sadly at Dean, "It's alright. You've been busy, Dean. How's Dom doing? And if Kiora gets too heavy for you just let me know. I'll take her back, or you can set her on the grass. She likes pulling the grass out." Which probably isn't fun for the grass but eh, whatever.

"No, I'm fine holding her!!" He hardly sees his niece. "Dom is great! We've been doing well. She's helped me through a lot of tough stuff. Mainly stuff to do with the whole Angela situation." He rolled his eyes at all the dumb drama. "Man, I can't wait for NEWTs to be done! I hope I pass!"

Kiora's happy where she is right now and continues to nom on Dean's fingers, occasionally pausing to babble away in her baby gibberish. Remus smiles. "You'll pass, Dean. You're smart. I'm glad things are doing well and that Dom has been a great help to you. I feel bad that I haven't been able to help you through a lot." Remus really needs to be caught up with all the drama.

Dean can't help but smile at the baby talk. "Oh yeah? That's quite the story!" He coos over Kiora again. "Well, we've both been busy it seems. Mum would kill me if I didn't pass! Can you imagine! She probably wouldn't let me come home!"

Kiora squeals happily and babbles more, poking a tiny hand towards Remus and staring up at Dean with big eyes. "DADDY." She looks around for a second. "Mmmummm?" Remus smiles. "Mummy's not here right now, baby girl." he looks back towards Dean. "We really have been busy." he shrugs. "And to be honest, I'm not even going to tell mum if I pass or not. I wrote to her a bit ago, to tell her how Kiora, Hermione, and I were doing, but her reply wasn't all that friendly. So I didn't bother telling Hermione about it because it'd probably just upset her, and I'm sick of Hermione having to deal with stuff that's upsetting. I want her to be happy."

[Inner!Hermione's heart just did funny lurching things because Kiora called for her and she wasn't there. ~flails~ And Hermione very much appreciates that Remus is protecting her from that... even though she's a little sad that she can't help support him ~~because his mother is a bitch.~~ XD]
