Molly smiles, secretly a little jealous not to have someone straight to bake cookies and knit with, like Viktor has Reg to play Quidditch with. Yep, more euphemisms. "That must be nice..." She looks back down at Fabian's scarf. It's getting kind of long.

Molly laughs it off, even though she's still a little jealous. "I'm happy for you. I suppose, given the amount of gay, married, or whipped boys here, I'm sort of stuck. Maybe I should just give up now? Or turn to girls. Either way..."

Viktor laughs. "I vouldn't give up. There are plenty of straight guys out there. Just stay avay from the Quidditch players...and Bulgarians. I'm sort of an exception," he said with a small frown.

Molly sighs. "I should've stayed home, with all the muggle boys and no overprotective brothers in sight. But what can I say? I missed the lugheads too much. And Ali - you know she needs someone looking out for her. So any particular reason you're warning me off Quidditch players? Or is it just that they all already have boyfriends?"

"Oliver Wood? Hmm..." Molly says, because she got a totally different impression of him. "But isn't the bulk of the Bulgarian Quidditch team in, oh, say, Bulgaria? Not that Gid would mind if I had a boyfriend on another continent, I think..."

Molly pulls a face, because the thought of moaning 'oh, Arthur' is almost enough to make her want to switch teams on the spot. "No, no, it's a hopeless case. I've accepted that now. And so I shall be the old spinster who lives in a patchwork cottage and bakes cookies, and knits sweaters for the village children."

Molly laughs too. She laughs a lot, even when she hasn't had any Special Cookies. "Well with you for a coach, I'm sure they'll be awesome. Well, maybe not the uncoordinated, bookish nerd. There's probably no hope for him. He gets it from his father's side, I'm sure."

Molly can't imagine that life either. She's a Prewett, for Merlin's sake! Clearly this whole 'Percy' business was her hypothetical husband's idea of revenge on the world for a name like 'Arthur'. Molly herself would have to be so doped up to go along with that. Which isn't too much of a stretch, sometimes. "Maybe you should. You know, I think names should come with a warning label! Instead of books that tell you the meaning of names, they should print books that tell you what will happen to your child if you give them that name."
