Molly giggles, and grabs the hat, and a bit more yarn. "It's a pompom," she grins. "It's supposed to, like, make hats pretty and stuff. I don't know - we've been through this, I hate hats, but your friend might think it's cute. Here - like this," she says, and guides Viktor's hands through the process of sewing the pompom onto the hat. "Voila!"

"Why don't you knit anything for yourself?" Molly asks, nose wrinkled very cutely in confusion. "I mean, not that I can talk, because, like, 99.99% of the stuff I knit is for other people, but still. I mean, I totally knit things for me every once in a while. Isn't there anything you want to make yourself? Or do you, like, just spend all your time doing stuff for other people and then run out of time for you?"

As for my best friend, I saw her at the lake the other day." She pauses as she remembers a part of sohthing Sirius said. "Wait. Your brother fucks your best friend? Doesn't that freak you out a bit?"
