"Serious, huh?" Remus could tell Lily wasn't all that thrilled by the idea. "Well, if I ever do have the "marvelous" chance to meet this fellow and you're in the vicinity, I'll try to make as many Walrus and Carpenter references as possible just to make things more entertaining." he grinned. Amethyst is currently amusing herself by thinking about how that would play out.

Lily chuckles. "I wonder if they would even get the reference. Tuney might, and even if she doesn't she'd probably just assume the nasty wizard was having a go at her anyway so you might as well go to town with it."

"It'd probably be more funny if they don't get the reference." Remus chuckled. He'd never be downright rude to anyone, but he could pull off a few funny comments once in a while. A bug flew by and he shooed it away. "I wonder what it'll feel like for us this time next year. Probably just studying a whole heck of a lot so we can get out of here."

"True," Lily says, smiling. "Yeah, I suppose so. Well, some of us will be studying like mad. I'm sure those friends of yours will be up to no good, as ever. It's strange to think, isn't it? That it's only a little over a year and then we'll be out in the world trying to make it on our own," she says with a little sigh.

"Oh, I'm sure they will be." Remus laughed, shaking his head. "It is definitely strange to think about, but at least most of us have some sort of idea as to what direction we're heading in. That always helps. And I'll be glad to know that if I'm ever in need of a healer" which is, well, you know, every once a month at least "I'll know the best person to go to." he smiled brightly at Lily.

"You could always come to me. Always," Lily says firmly before she even really thinks about it, prompted unconsciously by all those puzzle pieces she refuses to think in depth about when it comes to her fellow Prefect. Then she smiles sheepishly and tucks an invisible strand of hair behind her ear, given that her long red locks are already pulled back perfectly neatly. "I do hope we stay in touch when school ends, you know. It's a worry to think that we'd all scatter and never see each other again unless we crossed paths for work. There's not many people here I'm really close to, but you all mean a great deal to me."

Remus smiles, knowing he would definitely feel comfortable going to Lily for help - though he still probably wouldn't explain the circumstances unless they were something not involving his condition. "Oh, I really do hope we don't lose touch after school ends." he frets. Not being one to make strong friendships easily, Remus liked to keep the strong friendships he did have close. Losing even one of them always made him sad. "I'll write to you a lot, if you'd like."

"I'd love it!" Lily says at once. "Maybe we could do something like get together every now and then to catch up, when we both know where we are and what we'll be doing. I'll still need someone to talk books with, you know," she smiles, heartened by the prospect of maintaining at least one of her few real friendships after Hogwarts.

"That would be brilliant." Remus grinned. "It'll be lovely to be able to stay caught up every now and then. And you're about the only person I can really talk books with so another reason we definitely need to stay in contact." he chuckled. Honestly Remus was rather worried that he wouldn't get to see almost any of his close friends after they all left school. As they would all be off doing who knows what and having interesting adventures and he...well, he wasn't really suited for much, was he? Maybe being a teacher or working in a library...if he was even allowed to do such things, considering his condition and the restrictions placed upon him because of it. But he didn't want to think about that right now. No...he would let that worry settle upon him next year, they're last year. For now he should let himself at least have some fun, right? Let himself pretend he was almost as normal as everyone else. Not that that was an easy thing to do. Such saddening thoughts, yet he managed to keep a smile on his face the entire time so Lily wouldn't think there was anything wrong. He wouldn't worry his friends with his problems.

Lily chuckles. "I know what you mean. Gideon's usual line is 'how was the Library? Oh, wait, I don't want to know.' At least I could never accuse him of pretending to be something he's not, though," she reasons. She likes people who are true to themselves. "We'll just have to make sure that when I'm a top Healer & you're a celebrated Professor or something that we make the time for each other and books," Lily smiles, though she's suddenly wondering if those clues she refuses to think about will bold Remus back professionally.

haha, it's all good ^^ I'd know what you meant anyway even if there are.

Remus chuckled. "Yeah, I can practically see Sirius' eyes start to go all unfocused as he starts to zone off as soon as I mention the library. I don't think James listens at all and Peter probably just listens because...well, he's Peter. Though I think, despite the fact that they're hardly very intelligent conversations, I tend to have more interesting conversations with Pete about books than with the other two." he shook his head, rolling his eyes. "And I'll definitely make time for you, Lily. Obviously not during a class or if I was very busy at the time, but I would still make time for you and books." he smiled brightly. He'd probably have a lot of free time if things didn't work out well, like he wanted them too.

"Really? Pettigrew?" Lily says, her surprise palpable. "Well, there's something I never knew." She smiles brightly at Remus' promise. "You know I'd never interrupt class time! Although if I found a simply earth-shattering book, I'd be sorely tempted, you know."

"Yeah, good ol' Pete." Remus chuckled. They weren't the most intelligent conversations of course, but at least Peter didn't pretend like he wasn't interested at all. Made Remus feel a bit better anyway. "I'd have to play the whole disappointed teacher act if you disrupted class time, although..." he grinned, "if you really had found an earth-shattering book I'd probably have to make an exception."

"It would only be in an emergency, I assure you Professor Lupin," Lily promises. And yes, a really earth-shattering book is an emergency. Lily smiles, gives Remus a quick one-armed-sideways hug, and stands up to brush the dirt off her bum. "I should go; I'm sure there's Library books I've got to return today and I can't have Madame Pince breathing down my neck with late notices. The old bat is relentless," she says confidentially.

Remus smiles, actually liking the sound of 'Professor Lupin'. Wouldn't it be nice if he actually got to teach? Ah well. He watched as Lily stood, and then looked around wondering if he better not just go inside as well. It was getting later on in the day and he'd promised Pete he'd help him with an essay. "I totally understand. I think I returned a book late once and then was so scared of her reaction that I vowed to never do so again." he nods. "It was really nice seeing you again, Lily."

"It was nice seeing you too, Remus. We should make a point to patrol together more often, you know; it'll give us more time to catch up," Lily says, smiling down at her friend. "I'll see you later," she says, heading back to the castle to check the situation with those books before the dragon lady breathes fire everywhere. Really, they shouldn't let her in the Library like that, it's not safe for the books. Like the students last Friday here who bought in a birthday cake and lit all the candles, setting off the smoke alarm so the whole building had to be evacuated. Fucking idiots. Anyway, in amongst all that ramble Lily left.

Dem wandered on over to the empty beach and sat down, immediatley digging her feet around in the sand. It had been a little while since she had gotten out and was glad that she finally got to.

Reed was walking around the grounds, looking for a little inspiration for his paintings. Every time he tried to paint something new, it would always turn into something that reminded him of Kras. He sighed then spotted a head of dark hair that he immediately recognized. "Dem! Hey Dem!" He started running to where she was...and tripped and fell on his face. "Ooops." He popped up and brushed off the dirt on his jacket and slowly made his way to his friend. "Hey!" He immediately hugged her. "What's up?"

Dem heard a familiar voice and saw Reed and smiled and hugged him back. "Hi Reed! Oh, not much, you know. Just enjoying my spare time. What about you? How are you? How are you liking Hogwarts? Not gotten into any sorts of accidents?" She asked, remembering how accident prone he had been when they had first met. She was surprised he hadn't gotten any serious injuries.

"I'm really good! I'm finally getting a little more used to the castle. And you know, just the usual bumps and bruises." He pulled his messenger bag around to the front and pulled out a container of cookies. "Cookie? They are the best cookies on the planet. My friend Kras makes them." He blushed, as usual, at the thought of the tall Bulgarian. "Wait, you know him right? He's mention you before."

"Thats good." She simply said with a small smile, glad that he was hurting himself less. "Oh, yes please!" She said and accepted a cookie from the container he was holding and took a bite of one. "Ohmygosh, these are so good! And, I do. He's awesome." She says about Kras with another small smile. "So.. what did he say?" She looked at Reed curiously because she needed to know these sorts of things. Yep.

"I know! They are amazing." He too took a bite and smiled happily. "Let's see. Um, he told me how you guys danced or something like that? He said you were sweet." Okay, so Reed didn't exactly remember all the details, but he knew Kras had said they danced. "And you are sweet!"

Dem smiled and went slightly red, not being complimented all that often. "Aw. Thats so nice!" She happily said, being put into a better mood. "We danced. It was fun, but then I got dizzy and had to sit down for a minute." She reminises, laughing a little as she did so because she really enjoyed that day and had lots of fun.

Reed smiled and laughed a little. "Can he dance at all? I mean, he's so tall." He wondered if Dem could sense that he was just trying to get more information about the boy he may or may not be developing a crush on. "You look like you'd be a good dancer though. I trip a lot, but if I focus I'm not too bad."
