Re: Honeydukes Sweet Shop
Angelina sighs loudly, but it's good natured. "Okay, fine. I'll let you." She grins, and heads back out the door into the street. She looks over the inventory list, eyes widening in shock. "I never realised they had so much stock there! We could - but I hate to break it to you, Jack, but I doubt it would last very long. We'd sell out pretty fast, and then we'd just be left with everything that nobody else wants."

Re: Honeydukes Sweet Shop
Jack sighs dramatically as they wander into the street. "Ah, I think we've just put our finger on why I should never go into business. It's just not my thing - all I'd be good for is the spokesmodel," he tells Angelina, a mournful look on his face as if he is heartbroken that business sense isn't one of his talents. The being objectified as a spokesmodel part doesn't phase him at all; he's brilliant at being objectified.

Re: Honeydukes Sweet Shop
Angelina smiles wryly. "Of course. You just stand there looking pretty and leave all the work to the women and the real men," she smirks, "because I'm sure you couldn't handle it at all." Now that Jack is on the path to redemption in her mind (if he's not there already, she hasn't quite decided yet), she feels more comfortable again. She digs her hands into her jeans pockets and looks up and down the street. "It's awfully quiet. Is something exciting going on in the castle we weren't told about?"

Re: Honeydukes Sweet Shop
Oh she did NOT just go there. O.O
"I am a real man," Jack pouts. "It's not my fault if other men can't look good and do things, so those of us who don't have to be meatheads to consider ourselves manly cop a bad rap. I'm just never going to be a businessman," he says, shrugging because he's cool with that. He has talent where talent counts. "It is quiet. Oh well, whatever they're doing can't be that great, or surely we'd have heard about it. More space for us here, I s'pose. What else would you like to look at?" he asks, wanting to prolong the date just a little more.

Re: Honeydukes Sweet Shop
Angelina grins softly - which is probably a smile, but oh well. "I'm sure you are," she says, only a little condescendingly, "and I'm sure you're right, Jack. True, it does seem to mean more space. I don't exactly feel like running around in it, though." She thinks about his question for a little bit. "Uh, nothing in particular, unless there's somewhere you wanted to go?"

Re: Honeydukes Sweet Shop
Jack graciously ignores the slight condescension, because one day Angelina will know the truth for herself. Mmhmm. "Oh, I'm sure I am, too," he smirks, then shakes his head reluctantly. "No, there's really nowhere else I particularly wanted to go. There's a pretty park over there, that's sort of near the path back if you wanted to take a scenic detour?" he offers, indicating the park nearby.

Re: Honeydukes Sweet Shop
Angelina sees his head shaking, and smiles a little inside at his reluctance. She is quite pleased that just for once, a guy is showing interest in her, and not only that, but he's not scared off by her. Because she can be a little scary. It's the black part of her, and I don't even care if that's racist. "Oh, sure! I don't mind - I don't really have anywhere else I have to rush off to. Aren't you lucky?" She asks with a smirk, as she begins walking towards it.

Draco walked after Pansy, curious as to where she was going. After a few moments he realized and followed her in, immediately migrating off to find all his chocolatey favourites. Grabbing a basket as he passed the pile he started to load some things into it, first a stack of essential bacon chocolate then some dark chocolate and then some sugar quills, some Bertie Botts beans and others. After a bit he glanced behind him to see if Pansy was still there, a little guilty that he had been so distracted.

Re: Honeydukes Sweet Shop
Pansy smiled as he immediately headed off to find his chocolates, laughing to herself when she noticed he had grabbed a basket for them. She wandered off to where the lollipops were displayed, looking at them all and trying to decide which one looked the very most appealing. Sure she stood there for a while, but it was an important decision to make. There were the giant rainbow ones, all twisted up in circles and looking quite colorful and lovely. There were also the little sphere ones, guaranteed to last for a week at least. There were sour ones, filled ones, fruity ones, all kinds. Pansy finally reached for a mediumish sized swirly flat rainbow one, but paused, still not quite sure. She tilted her head, looking them over before finally grabbing the one she'd reached for a second ago, spinning around quickly to find Draco.
Re: Honeydukes Sweet Shop
Draco saw her over by the lollypops and grinned when she turned around at the same moment. He eyed the big one in her hand and raised an eyebrow, walking over to her. "Wow Pans, think you can eat all that?" It was rather impressive and looked like a great one for random colour staining. Always amusing. Looking around he didn't see anything else he wanted but then again he had half filled the basket so there wasn't really much left he could grab. "Anything else you want to grab? More chocolate for yourself?"
Re: Honeydukes Sweet Shop
A smile spread across her face as she saw him looking for her as well. She stayed there as he walked over to her, rolling her eyes a little at him. "I can." She turned it around, looking at it, seeing that there were minimal areas of blue, which she figured would stain her whole mouth, not exactly something she wanted. It was a good mixture of pinks and yellows, and other less offensive colors. Perfect. She shrugged at his question, looking around the shop. "Maybe some peppermint toads." She walked over and grabbed a little blue bag full of the tiny minty chocolate toads, holding those along with her lollipop as she walked up to the counter behind Draco.
Re: Honeydukes Sweet Shop
Draco put his basket down and turned to take her candies from her and put them on the top with a smirk and a wink. He faced the cashier again and put it on the tab account seeing as if he carried enough gold around with him to cover Honeydukes trips his pants would fall down with the sheer weight. Once everything was all loaded into bags that he shrunk and tucked into his pockets he handed her her bag and walked towards the door. "Anything else you would like while we're in town?"
Re: Honeyduke's
"Come on Reed! Don't lag behind! All of the good candy will be gone and all that will be left will be cockroach clusters and acid pops!" Jenna dragged her friend by the arm, a mirror image of just hours before at the Three Broomsticks.
Re: Honeydukes Sweet Shop
Reed had indeed stopped outside the store to admire all the candy from the window. "Oh. Right. Sorry. This place always gets me a little excited. It's just all so...colorful and sugary." His eyes were as wide as saucers as he took in everything. This was only the second time he's ever been here, so it was still a little overwhelming at first.
Re: Honeyduke's
Jenna's eyes roamed the store, her mouth beginning to water with each new candy her eyes discovered. "I could live here and die the happiest person on earth."
Re: Honeydukes Sweet Shop
Reed nodded as he too stared around. Then he turned to look at Jenna. He gave her one nod before running through the store, grabbing anything his hands could reach while giggling like mad.
Re: Honeyduke's
[Oh Jenna, you are such a pig, It's a good thing she works out so much!]
'Ha!' Jenna thought, 'Reed's trying to get a head start!' She raced after him, grabbing for anything and everything chocolate, peanut butter or just none of the creepy candy. Her hands were full and her heart filled to the brim with the joy that was candy.

Re: Honeydukes Sweet Shop
Reed's arms were full of candy, he hadn't even paid any attention to what he was grabbing. He ran back over to Jenna to compare. "What did you get? I still need to get one of those giant lollipops, but I don't have any more room in my arms." He smiled and was pink in the face from all the bouncing around.
Re: Honeyduke's
"Does it look like I have any spare room either?" Jenna asked, her arms and pockets and everything that could hold candy bulging with all of the chocolate that she loved almost more than life itself.
Re: Honeydukes Sweet Shop
Reed laughed loudly and went to the register. "Excuse me? Do you mind holding these while we continue to look around? Both of our stuff is all together." He smiled sweetly at the store worker and set all his candy on the counter and signaled for Jenna to do the same. "How about we actually look around now."
Re: Honeyduke's
Jenna giggled at the astonished expression on the store worker's face. Well, what did they expect? They were teenagers, and everyone knows that teenagers live and breathe chocolate. "Let's go! I wanna go and get some sugar quills, they're so yummy!"
Re: Honeydukes Sweet Shop
Reed giggled and followed her to the sugar quills. "I don't care if I end up working in the muggle world after school, I'm always going to go sweet shopping in the Wizarding world. So many cooler things. Plus the sugar quills are the best for History of Magic."
Re: Honeyduke's
"Yeppers! You get to look like you're thinking really hard about some weird ancient wizard that Binns is droning on and on and on and on about while in reality, you are enjoying one of the best kind of candies there are in this amazing world." Jenna twirled around, almost dropping her stash.
Re: Honeydukes Sweet Shop
"Exactly. But these," He pulled one of the giant lollipops out and stared at it with wonder. "They have every delicious flavor, and it never gets any smaller. I need one of these." He was staring at it how one would stare at their first born child.
