Tam just cackled at the thought of Muffy the Puff finding Pansy if she ran away. Draco sighed and felt Pansy burrowing into his shoulder, "Are you cold? Do you want to go back to the castle? We can sit by the fire for a while." He didn't move as he spoke, his face still pressed against her coat, his eyes looking at the snow behind here where the snow angel lay, so delicate and pure.

Pansy shook her head, her face still hidden by his shoulder. "I'm alright if you want to stay." She ran her one hand up his arm, the other still in his hair. She could have stood in their silent embrace forever, just the two of them holding onto each other in peace. It was nice, a rare moment for pureblood children to be able to get away to a moment of absolute quiet and no worry together, especially Pansy and Draco. She turned her head and kissed him on the neck and jaw a few times, snuggling her nose up under his ear.

Draco smiled as she snuggled closer to him, pressing her cold nose against his neck. He squeezed her waist then lifted his head off he shoulder, "Let's stay, just let's go sit down again." He kept one arm around her as they walked back to the blanket and sat down on it. He pulled her back into his arms and pressed a kiss to her cheek as he lay back, watching the snow fall with almost childlike pleasure.

She followed him back to the blanket and sat close, lying down beside him when he laid back. She rested partly on his chest with his arms around her. "It's so nice out here. Almost like no one else exists." They couldn't see the town from here, a hill between here and there, and it seemed to be just the two of them in the park today, with the exception of a few birds. The snow always made things seem quieter than usual, a heavy sort of quiet that penetrated what felt like the whole of the world.

Draco smiled when she cuddled up to him and kept watching the snow fall, "It really does. It's amazing that a little place like this can be right in Hogsmeade and next to Hogwarts but still be so peaceful." He closed his eyes to let the snow fall on them, enjoying each little spot of cold as it fell on him. His arms around her, one hand stroking her hair, feeling the little snowflakes falling away.

OMG SORRY I THOUGHT I'D REPLIED TO THIS.

Lol, it's fine, only had to wait a half hour this time instead of a whole hour like before XD

They laid there in the silence for what felt like forever. Pansy may have briefly fallen asleep at one point. She opened her eyes again and looked around, noticing a thin layer of snow that had started to settle over them, especially as the flakes were getting larger and coming more rapidly now. "Maybe we ought to head back, before the snow buries us." She laughed and brushed some off his shoulder, rolling onto her stomach to look up at him.

Well before I was doing chores and packing. This time I was actually sitting at the laptop... whoops

He opened his eyes because he definitely fell asleep for a bit. "Oh, wow yeah. It's probably getting late too, hard to tell with this." He let her roll off him then he stood up and offered her his hand, pulling her to her feet. Brushing the snow off her shoulders he walked behind her and brushed it off her hair and back, "Can't have you dripping all over the place can we now?" He grinned and walked over to their bags, ending the shield charm and picking them all up.

I figured. It's no big. XD

Pansy smiled at him and picked up a few of the things he hadn't gotten already and folded and packed it all away, disappearing the trash and things of that sort. "Ready to head back?" She slipped her hand around his arm and turned toward Hogsmeade to cut through and head back to Hogwarts before it got dark out. Draco can either post here again or just back in the common room. Whichever works.

Post  James Sirius Potter December 12th 2010, 5:55 am

James led Parvati down to the park, himself slightly anxious. He had been on a few dates before, but none of them had really turned into anything. Because of that, he considered them fails. It was quite sad. He stopped when the reached the small stone bridge, then led her to the middle of it. It was lit up with lights, ones that reflecting off of the water below them. In the middle of the bridge was a large blanket, a heating charm placed on it to keep it nice and warm. There was a small basket, one filled with scones, hot chocolate, and strawberries. "If you'd uhh, rather go somewhere else, we can," he said sheepishly. He wasn't sure if this was the kind of thing that she would be into...so he braced himself for her reaction.

Parvati followed him down to the park and across the bridge and couldn't help but let a large grin cross her face when she saw he had set up a little picnic like thing in the middle of the bridge. She looked over at him and shook her head. "No...I don't want to go somewhere else." She said with a large grin. "This is perfect, James. It's amazing." She said nodding and looked over at all the stuff he had set up. She was extremely impressed, most guys would just take a girl to the three broomsticks or the hogs head on a date but not James. James was nice and original. He had now passed 3 out of the 10 test criteria question things.

Well shit. Three of ten? Way to freak out inner!James.

James let out a sigh of relief, one a bit noticeable actually, when she said she wanted to stay. For some reason, he hadn't wanted to do what most people do on their first dates, a regular trip to Hogsmeade. He wanted to do something different with Parvati. Something he hoped would be memorable. "I'm glad," he said with a smile, leading her over to the blanket and motioning for her to sit down. Once he sat down as well, very much so enjoying the feeling of the warm blanket on his bum, he reached into the basket and withdrew the food and hot chocolate. "Here you go," he said, passing her one of the drinks. "So are you really friends with everyone, or was that your way of trying to freak me out? Anyone in particular you hang out with more?"

Umm. Well yeah. There are 10 on the test. I think James can pass all of them easily. Except....1...Because 1 he won't be able to pass tonight. But that's perfectly okay. -nods-

Parvati walked with him over to the blanket and sat down and smiled at him as he sat down. "Thanks." She said with a small smile as she took the drink. Dang. James is just owning this test. She laughed slightly as he asked if she was just trying to freak him out and she shook her head. "No..I wasn't just trying to freak you out." She said with a slight laugh. "I just, I don't know, I like everybody." She said nodding. "And I know almost everybody in the school and I like being friends with them so I consider myself friends with most people in the school." She said and though for a moment of who her really close friends were. "Hmm, My closer friends would have to be Lavender, Romilda, Demelza, Viktor, Ron, Harry, Dean, and Sirius." She said nodding. "Yeah, they are definitely my closest friends.

"Well, getting along with a bunch of people is always a good thing. Better to have friends than enemies after all," he said, taking a sip of his hot chocolate. He listened to her list her friends, instantly recognizing quite a few of the names. "So basically, Gryffindors," he noted with a smile. Not that there was anything wrong with having Gryffindor friends, nothing in the slightest. "I mostly know Gryffindors. Well, I've met a couple Ravenclaws who are really nice," he said, thinking of Melanie and Claire. "Oh, then there's my brother," he said, slightly uneasily. "Other than that, I mostly hang out with Gryffindors as well." But Parvati better not ask for names, because Dom does not have any to give right now.

"Yeah." She said nodding. "I have very few enemies." She said and kind of glared off into the distance thinking about her one enemy. The one person in the school she hated. That one person who she would like to tranquilize, wrap up in plastic wrap, stick on a table in a room covered in plastic wrap, stab and kill, and then dump into the ocean in a black garbage bag. Umm. Sorry. I am too excited for the Dexter season finale. Parvati realized that she was kind of spacing out and glaring. "Yeah, now that I think about it I am mostly friends with Gryffindors. I am acquaintances with a lot of people in other houses, just not close friends." She said nodding. "I think it's easier to be close friends with people in your house because you can still see them easily after curfew and in the common room and they are in your classes." She noted. "Yeah? I think most people hang out with people from their own houses." She said nodding. "So, Any mutual friends?" She asked with a smile. "Out of the friends I listed?" She was curious to see if he knew any of them.

James watched as she stared off for a bit. Well shoot, apparently this enemy was rather serious. He made a mental note to never ever ever get on her bad side. After all, he was sure that she could cause some serious damage. Plus, she knew loads of people, so things could get seriously bad. "I'm almost afraid to ask..." he said hesitantly, letting out a small sigh of relief when she stopped glaring. "Well...that makes sense. You're also able to relate to people in your own house much more," he said with a nod. "Mutual friends?" he repeated. "Not that I can think of out of those options. Well, I have met Sirius. He's a pretty cool guy," James said. Though, that kind of makes things awkward. Oops. James doesn't know though.

If James ever got on her bad side or if he did something bad that made her hate him she would probably spread nasty rumors about him and make him want to switch schools. It's not good to be on her bad side. She smiled a bit. "It's only one enemy." She said nodding. "Nothing too serious." She said with a small shrug. "You know Sirius?" She asks with a smile. "Yeah...He's a good friend." She said nodding. "Nice guy..." Hot too. She wouldn't say that around James though because James is also hot and she wouldn't want James to think that Parvati liked Sirius better. Parvati also doesn't find this awkward at all. Nope.

Not only that, but Ted would probably hunt James down and then kill him. James rather likes his life, so...he's not going to get on Parvati's bad side. Ever. He hopes at least. "Well, I don't see how a girl like you could have enemies," he said. " If they give you any trouble though, you let me know." He didn't like the idea of someone clearly irritating Parvati. After all, she was too nice to have enemies. "Well, I don't really know him all that well. I mean, we've met once. He was easy to talk to and get along with. Though, he seemed slightly...distracted by the girls down by the lake," he said. Not that surprising. Sirius is a bit of a manwhore.

Yes. That is true. Ted would probably hunt him down and kill him. Ted is a very... protective fellow. Parvati also hopes that James won't be getting on her bad side because she likes him being on her good side. She smiled at him. "Okay. If someone ever bothers me..I'll be sure to let you know." She said with a smile. "Yeah, Umm, Girls tend to distract him." She said a bit awkwardly. Okay. Now this was awkward. "He can be distracting himself." She said and didn't really realize she said it. Let's just hope James isn't a big thinker and doesn't think that little comment through. She shrugged. "I don't know. He's pretty nice when you get to know him....He's a lot easier to talk to without a bunch of girls around, that's for sure."

James would like to be on any side of Parvati. Wow. That was rather dirty. Who knew little virgin Jamesie had a dirty side like that. Huh. He kind of picked up on what she said, but decided it would be best to just let the entire comment slide. After all, it would be pointless to over think it too much or really bother with what she meant. Best to just let it go completely. "I'm sure without the distraction around he is," James said with a small grin. "Here, would you like a chocolate chip scone? Strawberry?" he asked, holding out a plate of food for her to take what she wanted. "But...let's not talk about Sirius so much. I mean, he's cool and all...but I want to know more about you," he smiled.

Parvati would not mind having James on either side of her. Um. Actually. She would like having him on top of him. Um. Yeah. Parvati thinks it would be a good idea not to think or talk about her history with Sirius because that is in the past. Yup. "Ummmm." She said dragging it out as she looked at the plate and tried to make a decision. She glanced up at him and smiled. "Yeah, I'd much rather not talk all about Sirius on our first date." She said giving him a smile as she looked back down at the plate. "I can't decide which one I want." She said and looked back up at him. "Which one would you pick?" Oh look another test. Boob de boop. Will he pass?

Oh sweet Merlin, another test. Does Parvati realize that James isn't that great of a test taker? There's a reason he's not remotely close to being top in any of his classes. Hell, he only stepping into the library for the first time ever the other day. Here she is though...testing him. "I'd say...take them both," he said with a small shrug. "They both look delicious, so why not? What's holding you back. I mean, I know girls tend to say things about watching their figures and eating at a bare minimum, but it's ridiculous." James didn't understand it. At all. "I mean, you're gor-really pretty," he said, switching words as he flushed slightly. He didn't want to sound like some creep or anything. Though, he couldn't deny she was gorgeous.
