James of course passed that test with flying colors. I don't know what you are talking about when you say he is a bad test taker because he is doing spectacular on this test. Gotcha. Wink

"Oh, trust me, I'm not one of those girls." She says with a light laugh. "I mean, well, I'm not like a pig or anything, But I definitely don't eat the bare minimum." She said with a large smile. "Thanks." She said with a smile. "You're pretty good looking yourself." She said as she took a scone. "I think I will start with the scone." She says nodding.

Well, maybe it's school testing he's just awful with. Perhaps girls testing him was his true calling. Something inside of him was rather relieved when she said she wasn't like one of those girls. After all, that meant that they could go and really enjoy a good meal. He liked a girl that could really eat. Once she took a scone, he handed her a napkin and then took one for himself. He decided to not comment on how the house elves had made the pretty scones, for that was just unnecessary detail that would probably do little to impress her. "These are good," he commented, then took a sip of his hot chocolate. "So, you have a twin? What's she like?" he asked.

Parvati smiled and took a bit out of the scone. "Mmm." She said nodding. "They are really good." Parvati thinks James made these so now she thinks he is some genius chef. Ha. Oops. "Yeah, I do." She says nodding. "Her name is Padma...She's in Ravenclaw. She's definitely different than I am. She is more of the book worm and I am more of the Social Butterfly." She says with a light laugh because that comparison was just really corny. "I mean, don't get me wrong, she's not like a prude or anything, she's just not as outgoing as I am. You know?" She said nodding. "She is really nice though. She's a great twin."

"I know exactly what you mean," James replied. "That's kind of how my brother and I are. I mean, there are small difference, yet we have a bunch of similarities." He shook his head slightly, for the differences were definitely growing as of lately. Such a shame. He rather liked hanging out with his brother. Not that he would ever admit that to Al's face. No, never. "Do you see your sister a lot? I mean, being in different houses, things must have changed quite a bit over the years. Do you and Padma have any mutual friends?" he asked. He was rather curious as to the whole twin thing worked out. After all, it added this whole different dynamic to sibling relationships.

"Yeah, I think a lot if siblings are like that. They like each other they just refuse to admit it to the other person." She says with a light laugh. "Umm, No, I mean during the summer and winter holidays we see each other a lot but during school we barely ever see each other." She said with a small shrug. "Because she's a Ravenclaw and I am a Gryffindor so we don't have any classes together. We definitely have a lot of different friends." She says nodding. "I hang out with a lot more, Hmm, what's the nice way to put this." She said, thinking for a moment. "I hang out with a lot of loud mouths." She said with a small laugh. "And Padma hangs out more with the Ravenclaws who tend to be a lot quieter."

"Loud mouths?" he questioned with a light laugh. "Surely I'm not one of those people you consider to be a loud mouth. I mean, unless you're saying that you hang out with outgoing people. I... am definitely outgoing," he grinned widely. He wouldn't call himself obnoxious though. Sure, he knew what he wanted and often tried a little too much to get it, but he never really passed that point where people loathed or were annoyed by him. Well, except Mandy. Mandy doesn't count though, for James though she was just a bitch now. Parvati on the other hand, there was something about her that James really liked. She was different from other girls, much more confident and a lot of fun to be around. "Does it bother you that you don't get to see her very often?" he asked.

"No, Of course not." She said giving him a large smile. "I do agree with you though that you are outgoing. Which is pretty hard to find in a lot of attractive, nice guys at this school." She said smiling at him. "And yes, I just called you attractive if you were planning on asking that." Parvati was pretty good with questions people ask and that was usually a question someone asks when you say something about them being attractive. It's like they didn't hear you or something. "Um.." She said with a sigh. "Sometimes it does...Yeah." She said nodding. "I mean, I have friends I can talk to and stuff but she has always been a person that I can tell everything to. Someone I can open up to and not have to worry about being judged at all because she's family. So sometimes it is hard barely getting to talk or see her."

James had been to question if she really thought that, but she seemed rather quick to confirm his unspoken thoughts. Instead, he opted to grin, slightly cockily, at her. "Well, thank you for the compliment," he said. He felt almost giddy inside that she thought those things about him, not just the attractive comment, but the nice and outgoing ones as well. Nodding, he knew exactly what she meant. "Do you think that things will change when you get out of school?" he asked. "I mean, do you think you guys will live close to each other? With each other maybe?"

"You're welcome." She said with a soft smile and shook her head. "I don't know. I mean, I want to try and be a professional cheerleader and if I was actually able to do that I wouldn't really be living in one place for a long time. I would be traveling with whichever Quidditch Team I was traveling for." She said with a sigh. "We do get to see each other on breaks though so thats always nice." She said and smiled. "My family goes on a trip every year for Christmas so we don't know anyone around us and then we have even more reasons to just hang out with each other." She said grinning, she was definitely excited for some quality time with her sister. "What about you and your brother? Do you get to see him a lot when you're here at Hogwarts?"

Dom now recalls Parvati totally telling James about her ideal profession, so Dom fails. Oops. Sorry. "Ahh, very true. I mean, even when it's not Quidditch season, I'm sure the cheerleading team would still have frequent practices." He loved the idea of family trips. Secretly, he loved spending time with his family. Even though he would often act as though it was annoying to hang out with Al and Lils, he really did enjoy the time with them. "Not really," James admitted with a small shrug. "I mean, we'll catch up every now and then, but I don't approve of his choice of...friends," he said, wrinkling his nose as he thought of Malfoy. "It's fine though. We do tend to get along alright during the holidays. I definitely see my sister Lily much more. She's a Gryffindor as well."

Neville understands that Dom forgot because Neville herself forgets things too. Talking in 3rd person is fun. "Oh yeah." She said nodding. "I remember you telling me that you didn't like his one friend Scorpius." She says nodding. "It's good that you can still get along though when you are out of school. It would suck to have to be enemies with a family member." She says and gives him a smile. "Your sister is in Gryffindor? I don't think I know her...." She said thinking for a moment. "Is she younger?"

"I hate Scorpius," he said before blinking twice. Seriously, now he really couldn't stand the Malfoy boy, at all. "He brings forth much anger and many images that I do not wish to think about." Seriously. Al and Scorpius have scarred James. He will be demanding they pay for his therapy. "Yep, she's younger. She's a fifth year. She's pretty outgoing, though can be rather quiet as well. Little Miss Innocent too, which...is a good thing," he said. After all, he was sooo not ready to pull out the protective older brother card when it came to boys.

Parvati nodded and just decided not to ask about what Scorpius did to make James hate him so much. It seemed like that was something that kind of put James on edge and she didn't want to upset him at all. "Oh, So just one year younger then? Not too much of an age difference." She said and smiled as he said that the fact that she was innocent was a good thing. "So, I'm guessing you're the kind of older brother who is really protective of her? You have to approve of everyone she goes out with and all of that?" She asked with a smile, she thought older brothers like that were sweet. Except her own of course. She thought it was quite bothersome when Ted went all big brother on her.

ERM, James is a seventh year and Lils is a fifth...so there is two years between them. So, James will just pretend Parvati said two years younger. "Yes, we're still rather close in age. I...can be a little protective of her, but what older brother wouldn't be? I mean, she's way too young to start thinking about boys. I know what boys think like and my sister will not go near them and their pervy hands. She hasn't had a boyfriend yet, so I'm a little happy about that. I have yet to worry about that kind of stuff."

Oh, Umm. I thought James was in Parvati's year. Um. This is awkward. >.> I'm embarrassed. She nodded. "Yeah, I think every older brother is definitely protective. Ted is definitely protective of me." She said rolling her eyes. Ted actually wasn't that over protective of her. He really just wanted her to be safe, which was actually very nice of him, she just would never admit that. She couldn't help but laugh when he said guys had pervy ands. "So are you saying all guys have pervy hands?" She asked, raising an eyebrow at him.

It's finnnne. An honest mistake. The whole age-thing with the Potters is all messed up and weird. JSP is older than Ginny in RP. Weirdness. "Ted?" he asked, slightly curious yet extremely hesitant. "Is this someone that I'm going to have to maybe meet at some point?" He was a little scared of that fact, but was sure he could win Ted over with his charm...maybe. "No! Not all guys! Just err, most," he said. After all, he didn't really have pervy hands. Well, that he knew of. Not that he had experience with that kind of thing. Poor innocent James.

"Oh, Umm, Yeah, Ted." She said and smiled. "He's not technically my older brother but I've known him forever and he practically acts like an older brother." She said nodding. "Umm, If he ever finds out about you and me then yeah. He'll want to meet you." She said nodding. "And he'll probably find out next time he sees me since he can read me like a book." She said with a light laugh. "Oh, Just most?" She asked with a grin. "Good to know. Tell me James, are in the category of the pervy handed men?" She asked with a teasing smirk.

"Well, I hope he likes me then," he said with a hopeful smile. "I'll just try and be myself. Not much to hate...right?" James really didn't want to get on Ted's bad side, for having enemies was something he really didn't want. "What?!" he said with slightly wide eyes. "Oh...no!" he said quickly, flushing slightly. He supposed having wandering hands would maybe be okay and kind of nice, but even then...he wasn't like that yet. "I'm not like that," he mumbled, running a hand through his hair.

"I'm sure he'll like you." She said with a smile. "I mean, if I like you, I'm sure he'll at least try to like you." She couldn't help but laugh at how much he freaked out when she asked if he had pervy hands. "Well, Good to know that I am not on a date with some perv." She said with a smile. "So, You're not a perv? You're not a jerk? You're not a nerd?" She said thinking. "So, what are you?" She asked, cocking her head to the side slightly. "I mean, we've talked all about me...But we haven't really talked about you all that much."

Parvati thinks Ted should go shove his hands down his pants.
Um. That was random and uncalled for. I should go to bed.

James only hoped that she was right. The last thing he wanted was for this Ted guy to hate him. That could seriously make things difficult. "What am I?" he repeated, thinking over the question for a moment. "Well, I guess you could say that I'm a rather a rather confident and attractive guy. I've been told that I'm a bit cocky sometimes, but why not emphasize good looks?" he asked with a grin. "I mean, I'm sure that you go around saying, 'Bitches, I'm hot as hell. Now part like the friggin red sea.' Why wouldn't you? I mean, my mum says it's my least attractive quality, though I don't think I'm a narcissist or anything. I love jokes and pranks, my cousin Fred and I are always trying to plan them. Hence why I want to work in my Uncle George's joke shop. It just...it makes sense. It's something I enjoy and think I could excel with," he grinned.
