Severus wanders over, clearly looking for Lily. He'd gone looking for her after the dance, needing to tell her things. He hadn't been quite sure if he was ready to go back to Remus- he needed to think about things first. Finally, he found her by her tree, and sat down next to her. "Hey Lily."

Sev smiled at her. "No, it was my fault. I left the ball, and never came back. I was thinking about Re- er, I was lost in thought. At any rate, um, Lily? I was looking for you for a specific reason, actually. There's something I need to tell you," he said, looking uneasy. He didn't want to see her hurt, but it would be worse if she never knew.

They were snogging, and were all over each other, and then they left the Great Hall... I don't know what happened after that, but knowing James... I'm sorry, Lily, I really am." So he was. He really was. Didn't even care if anyone SAW... Lily sighed, and buried her face in her hands. "I know he did Sev, sort of. I knew he kissed her at least, but not much more. I ran into him as I left, and he blabbered how he was sorry and she was all over him. I don't know much past that...but trust me, I was NOT happy. Am not happy. Stupid, idiotic,arrogant, cruel git.

[I have to leave within half an hour, in which case this will either be wrapped up or go on pause.]

Sev wrapped his arms around her awkwardly, not really sure how to comfort her. He was never good at that whole comforting thing. With Remus, it all just ended up with the two of them naked, it seemed. "I'm sorry, Lily. I can't believe he'd sink so low... At least you know he's not worth it now, right? Promise me you won't ever let him near you again, because if you let him hurt you, I'm going to hurt him. I'm gonna hurt him bad. Nobody does this to my Lily, you hear me? It's so wrong, so horribly wrong, you don't deserve this. You, you're... you're perfect. You're so beautiful and intelligent and witty and kind, oh you're the kindest woman to walk the earth, and yet you spend your time with him. Why, Lily? He's not worth shit! He's just a narcissistic, egotistical pervert with a superiority complex. I won't let him treat you like this, not when you deserve so much more. Hell, I'm not even sure there is someone out there who deserves you, but as sure as flobberworms are more attractive than Gregory Goyle, he most certainly does NOT deserve you. Um..I think any human is more attractive than a flobberworm...but i'm sure thats not the point...oh i'm such a fool..
When Sev wrapped his arms around and started ranting, she practically dove into his arms and buried her face in his chest, tears suddenly pouring from her eyes.
"O-oh S-Sev, he's n-not always b-bad! I'm s-sorry S-Sev...i'm so s-stupid sometimes! I j-just don't want to t-think anyone is t-that bad, I guess..." After a moment, she pulled away from him, hugging her knees and pressing her face against them.
"You..m-m-must think i'm horrible Sev. You just b-being nice, like normal. J-James...P-Potter can be...persuasive and i-i'm such a FOOL for ever listening to h-him...EVER...and even d-dancing with him..
Sev's right, James can be so horrible, but he's mainly horrible to Sev, but...oh I don't know anything anymore!

[I forgot what I was going to have Lily do after this...uhh...talk to 'Mione I guess. Or some other random thing. I believe James and Severus were going to argue or something over her though...]

[More like Sev was going to go off in a rage and find James, James was going to be all PROBLEM SOLVER because he's trying to change for Lily, and Sev would just punch him out or something.
As a side note, whenever I see things like this I'm like "Aww.... Wait no I'm James. I hate Snape." And I feel bad because I like Snape, but I can't like Snape because I'm James and we can't even be secret BFFs because that would be wrong....]

Sev smacked himself in the forehead in frustration, before tackle-hugging Lily. "Silly Lily! No, you're the most wonderful woman I've ever known, and will ever know. You're not stupid! Don't say that! He's just an awful git and he was charming, or whatever he is, and he fooled you. But none of it matters now, okay!? None of it matters, you've got me! You've got me..." Not that I'm worth much. But I'm something, right? Right? Sev sighed, choking back his own tears at seeing her so distraught. He wanted to kill him, kill him for doing this to her, but it would have to wait- right now, he would do all he could to give her whatever he thought she needed. And right now, that was a friend.

She pulled her arms away from her legs and wrapped them around Sev again. "It's not like I wasn't in my right mind though...I was..I suppose I just...didn't see though it..He..He even admitted to being arrogant and stupid and clueless...and he said he loved me...and that he'd never talk to Katie again or hex you if I asked him to but then we went to the dance and..and...he just went and danced with other girls. After saying that, he danced with even Pansy, but she was in a weird mood, and Dee!"

Sev shook his head, trying to get the image out of his mind. "Merlin, how much firebeer did she drink?! Er... Nevermind that. Lily. I don't care what he says, and you shouldn't either. Actions speak louder than words, especially his words. They're just empty lies, Lily. He doesn't care about you, is that not clear by all he's done? He doesn't care about you Lily. I do. I care. A lot. He doesn't love you Lily, and I d- I don't understand why you let yourself waste time on someone as pathetic as him. I'm not biased, Lily, either.
