Lily blushed furiously. James's never been that flattering...never seemed to care about my life, and never done anything but break promises and make false claims. "Sev...you're far too kind...really...I'm just an idiot, to have ever given him a chance, and now again a dance. Aarrgghh!" She stood up, shaking her head, her hands on her temples and her eyes closed. "I'm so STUPID Sev! He's never been even as flattering as you, and you're a friend, and I gave him a chance! Ah...AHH!" She had taken a step forward, and tripped, tumbling down the slope towards the lake. Swiftly, she ran into a rock. "OOF....ow..." She felt an aching pain in her head, and a spot of warmth that she didn't want to think about. Actually, she didn't want to think about anything, with her head aching. She curled up into a ball, feeling pain in scratches on her arms and in her head and back. "Sev.." Her voice was weak as she tried to call his name. "Help...Owww...." The last thing that crossed her mind before she fainted was James...

[Sev, up to you to get her to the hospital wing. Razz

I'll catch up on whatever else happens tomorrow(though I might watch Sev panic at her stupid fall.). I don't like injuries, which is why the writing is blah (that and i'm tired)...but I wanted her in the hospital wing at some point, I didn't know what to do anyway, I have to go to bed...etc. ]

"LILY!?!?" *makes this face again --> affraid

* he screamed, jumping to his feet and running after her. There was blood. BLOOD. Lots of blood. Lily's blood. BLOOD BAD BLOOD BAD BLOOD BAD! Severus somehow manages to lift her up despite his scrawniness, probably due to the adrenaline rush, and rushes her to the hospital wing in tears. "LILY! LILY! CAN YOU HEAR ME?!?!?" *panic panic panic*

[But it WAS Sev she asked to help her. Also...her mind has sort of been like "I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO THINK OF JAMESJAMESJAMESJAMESJAMES... SEV HEMIONE FLEUR HEEELLLPPPPP..." So...yeah. I'm tired and will leave after she is seen safely to the Hospital Wing...then I leave the drama to read for tomorrow.]

Lily stepped to a spot safely away from any small rocks, while still in the shade, and stood there for a bit, her eyes closed and the wind cooling her face and making strands of her hair drift about.

After finding the hospital wing empty after speaking to Hermione, he'd gone to Lily's usual spot on the grounds looking for her. He needed his friend. He saw her sitting in the shade - away from rocks, thankfully - and approached her. "I'm glad to see you're feeling better. How's your head?"

[*this conversation happening sometime between me talking to Hermione in the hallway and before what's going on at the lake right now*]

Lily opened her eyes and turned around, smiling when she saw Sev. "Hey! I'm doing much better...loud noises, sudden movements, those sort of things, still make my head ache...but otherwise, much better. I still can't thank you enough for bringing me to the hospital wing, and letting Hermione and Fleur know where I was. "

He sits down next to her, very, very, very slowly. He feels a little guilty for not getting to Hermione before someone else had, but shrugged it off- it didn't matter, Hermione had gone to see her anyway. "Don't thank me, silly. Just don't go around hitting rocks anymore, and I'll be content." He smiles up at her, giving her a hug.

Severus suddenly remembers- he hasn't told Lily yet. His face lights up remembering how wonderful he felt now, thanks to Remus. "Lily? I've been meaning to tell you. Something happened last night. Something really good," he says, unable to repress his ridiculously joyful grin.

[AH. I think Hermione was going to tell her...but she hasn't...so..Lily's going to be, probably not-so-pleasently surprised twice. >_<]

Lily smiled, happy for her friend. "Really Sev? That's terrific! What happened?"

[Sevily is now dead, I hope you know. If Lily was suspicious of Paneverus, with Snupin official...the only way she'd EVER think Snape liked her would be if/when Snupin died and if he told her himself. Which...isn't happened, as far as I know. ]

Lily froze, trying to keep her smile from fading. Oh my God...poor Hermione, she cares so much about Remus whether she says it or not...oh my...but Sev is happy... She managed to keep the smile and hug Sev back. "That's...terrific, Sev. I'm so glad you're happy!" She pulled back from the hug for a minute to give him a joking hurt look. "Though I thought you did know that I cared about you!" Her grin reappeared, letting him know that she meant as friends, and hugged him again, trying to compose her thoughts. Remus is with Sev...who is happy about this besides them?!...Sirius and James'll want to murder Sev if not both of them, Pansy'll be furious, Hermione...my god poor Hermione...this is a mess worse than anyone here has ever gotten themselves into...WHY was Remus silly enough to leave Hermione!? At least Sev's so happy..

Severus laughed. "Of course you do! I just... I just never thought someone would ever see anything in me. I guess I was wrong. And I'm so glad I was wrong, Lily! The world isn't such a bad place after all," he said, smiling up at his friend. "I just didn't think it was possible."

Lily shook her head. "Severus Snape, you're a fool. Don't let what th-...James and Sirius think of you, change your view of yourself." She had been about to say the Marauders and realized that wouldn't really make sense anymore. "You're my friend. I see that you can be such a great person."
