Severus wrapped his arms around her tightly, needing the comfort that her touch brought him. He wasn't so much upset about it as he was upset that he wasn't upset, if one can understand that at all. He didn't feel anything. Not angry, not upset, not jealous... just nothing. "That... that's nice, I guess," he said, his voice hollow, as he held her even closer.

Lily willingly let him pull her close, and she kissed his cheek. "I think it is....are you alright, Sev? I know there's so much bad blood between the three of you, I was afraid you might be angry..." Her tone showed the worry she still felt. The lack of emotion to the words bothered her and made her curious all at the same time. HAS he finally gotten over Remus? I know that whole thing hurt him a lot...

Severus sighed, and leaned on her shoulder. "No. I'm not angry. I'm not sad. I'm not... anything, really," he said, his voice as apathetic as he felt.

"That's alright...you don't have to care. You guys have a history...but it doesn't mean you have to brood on it and live that history always...but...Sev..I hate to ask, but...between you and Remus...do you still feel anything for him?" Lily kept her arms around him, not sure if he'd move from where he was, arms around her and head on her shoulder, at her question. I have to know, though.

Severus kissed her back slowly, not wanting to let their lips part, but eventually breaking away to look at her. "Don't be silly. You'll never have to be jealous. You're everything to me," he said with a smile, touching her lightly on the cheek.

Severus looked at his sweet angel, feeling like the luckiest man in the world all over again. "You've always had me, and you always will," he whispered, leaning in and kissing her gently on the lips.

Lily kissed him back, happy and comfortable. She let one of her hands run though his hair and rest on his shoulder, smiling in her mind at being here. Held, loved...kissing Severus Snape...the Sev she'd known for years, but never known they could've had this until now.

Severus relaxed, pushing thoughts of Remus and Whoremione away. He didn't need to think about that, why should he, when he had his Lily, right here in his arms? And she really finally was his Lily. And he wasn't gonna ever let her go. Sev wrapped his arms around her, smiling a little as he looked out at the lake in the distance. "I love you."

Lily moved a bit, so she could comfortably lean against him and enjoy the protective warmth of his arms around her. She sighed, closing her eyes with a smile. "This is so wonderful, Sev. The weather, the day...the company. Too wonderful for words."

[Ah..I'm going to sleep. >_> Leaving her here, up to you what to do about that. ]

"It makes me happy to know you're happy...because i'm happy? I don't know. Happiness is nice, though. " Lily curled up, leaning on him totally but smiling. "Sorry Sevvy...i'm tired..here, wait..." She pulled a small box from her pocket and tossed it a little bit away, lazily waving her wand and letting it turn into a tent. This done, she went back to her comfortable position. "All too likely i'll...just...nod off. Slept here before, can do it again, easy..." Barely as she finished speaking, she did indeed fall asleep, her breathing a steady, slow, rhythm and the hint of a smile still on her face.

[Yes, prepare for the occasional "Sevvy" or "My Sev" tossed into her conversation. The cuteness shall kill. Anyway, i'm off..sometime in a few minutes. Sorry for the sudden rush off...but i'm super tired. >_< Bye!]

Severus smiled as she felt asleep in his arms, looking ever so beautiful, ever so lovely. He decided to just stay out here, letting her sleep peacefully in his arms. He kissed her gently, so as not to wake her. "I love you," he whispered, as he drifted off to sleep himself.

Lily blinked her eyes, slowly waking up. She was a bit sore, but otherwise fairly comfortable...and after a moment, she remembered why, and looked up at Sev's sleeping face with a smile. She sat up, as much as she could, and put one arm around his neck, then kissed him. "Looks like we took quite the nap, sleepyhead. "

Severus laughed and kissed her lightly on the neck. "I'll be happy to be your pillow again some time," he said with a smile. "Shouldn't we head up to the castle, before they send out a search party after you? They might think I've kidnapped you," he teased, keeping his arms around her.

"Or you!" She laughed as she lightly tapped his head. "They'd send out a search party for you too. I agree though, we should head up to the castle..." Lily gave him a joking, mischievous, grin and whispered. "But would it be so much of a problem if you kidnapped me?" She stood up, laughing and unable to keep a straight face, and stretched before turning back to him. "To the castle then?"

Severus grinned, and got to his feet as well. "I don't think I'd mind that so much, but you'd get sick of me after a while," he said with a chuckle, and took her hand in his. "To the castle." They walk up to the castle and go their separate ways at some point because Eowyn doesn't feel like playing three characters at once right now and she's already Sirius and Reg.

Lily walked down to her tree, staring at her feet until she got close. She looked up, freezing. Sev?! What do I do...last time I saw him he was dancing, then drunk, then angry. She settled for keeping a level gaze on his back, turned away from her. "Sev."

Lily didn't move for a few moments, letting him hug her, but not hugging him back though it was killing her not to through her arms around him and believe everything was alright. Then she gently but determindly pushed him away. "Sev. I was drunk. I was past drunk...I don't even remember everything that happened last night, but I remember seeing you and Cissa. "
